1Operando Converting BiOCl into Bi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y) for Efficient Electrocatalytic Reduction of Carbon Dioxide to Formate显示文摘Bismuth-based materials(e.g., metallic, oxides and subcarbonate) are emerged as promising electrocatalysts for converting CO_(2) to formate. However, Bio-based electrocatalysts possess high overpotentials, while bismuth oxides and subcarbonate encounter stability issues. This work is designated to exemplify that the operando synthesis can be an effective means to enhance the stability of electrocatalysts under operando CO_(2)RR conditions. A synthetic approach is developed to electrochemically convert Bi^(O)Cl into Cl-containing subcarbonate(Bi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y)) under operando CO_(2)RR conditions. The systematic operando spectroscopic studies depict that BiOCl is converted to Bi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y) via a cathodic potential-promoted anion-exchange process. The operando synthesizedBi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y) can tolerate-1.0 V versus RHE, while for the wet-chemistry synthesized pure Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3),the formation of metallic Bio occurs at-0.6 V versus RHE. At-0.8 V versus RHE, Bi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y) can readily attain a FEHCOO-of 97.9%,much higher than that of the pure Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)(81.3%). DFT calculations indicate that differing from the pure Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)-catalyzed CO_(2)RR, where formate is formed via a *OCHO intermediate step that requires a high energy input energy of 2.69 eV to proceed, the formation of H COO-over Bi_(2)O_(2)(CO_(3))_(x)Cl_(y) has proceeded via a *COOH intermediate step that only requires low energy input of 2.56 eV.Huai Qin Fu Junxian Liu Nicholas M.Bedford Yun Wang Joshua Wright Peng Fei Liu Chun Fang Wen Liang Wang Huajie Yin Dongchen Qi Porun Liu Hua Gui Yang Huijun Zhao 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7:1
2Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions, tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time(LSST) that monitors the southern sky.Tinggui Wang Guilin Liu Zhenyi Cai Jinjun Geng Min Fang Haoning He Ji-an Jiang Ning Jiang Xu Kong Bin Li Ye Li Wentao Luo Zhizheng Pan Xuefeng Wu Ji Yang Jiming Yu Xianzhong Zheng Qingfeng Zhu Yi-Fu Cai Yuanyuan Chen Zhiwei Chen Zigao Dai Lulu Fan Yizhong Fan Wenjuan Fang Zhicheng He Lei Hu Maokai Hu Zhiping Jin Zhibo Jiang Guoliang Li Fan Li Xuzhi Li Runduo Liang Zheyu Lin Qingzhong Liu Wenhao Liu Zhengyan Liu Wei Liu Yao Liu Zheng Lou Han Qu Zhenfeng Sheng Jianchun Shi Yiping Shu Zhenbo Su Tianrui Sun Hongchi Wang Huiyuan Wang Jian Wang Junxian Wang Daming Wei Junjie Wei Yongquan Xue Jingzhi Yan Chao Yang Ye Yuan Yefei Yuan Hongxin Zhang Miaomiao Zhang Haibin Zhao Wen Zhao 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,10:1
3Pulmonary complications and respiratory management in neurocritical care:a narrative review显示文摘Neurocritical care(NCC)is not only generally guided by principles of general intensive care, but also directed by specific goals and methods. This review summarizes the common pulmonary diseases and pathophysiology affecting NCC patients and the progress made in strategies of respiratory support in NCC.This review highlights the possible interactions and pathways that have been revealed between neurological injuries and respiratory diseases, including the catecholamine pathway, systemic inflammatory reactions, adrenergic hypersensitivity, and dopaminergic signaling.Pulmonary complications of neurocritical patients include pneumonia, neurological pulmonary edema, and respiratory distress.Specific aspects of respiratory management include prioritizing the protection of the brain, and the goal of respiratory management is to avoid inappropriate blood gas composition levels and intracranial hypertension.Compared with the traditional mode of protective mechanical ventilation with low tidal volume(V_(t)),high positive end-expiratory pressure(PEEP),and recruitment maneuvers, low PEEP might yield a potential benefit in closing and protecting the lung tissue.Multimodal neuromonitoring can ensure the safety of respiratory maneuvers in clinical and scientific practice.Future studies are required to develop guidelines for respiratory management in NCC.Junxian Wen Jia Chen Jianbo Chang Junji Wei 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,7:1
4Effect of Chicken Akirin2 Gene on Immune Response Induced by VP2 DNA Vaccine of Infectious Bursal Dis-ease Virus显示文摘In order to investigate the effect of chicken Akirin2 gene on the immune response induced by VP2 DNA vaccine of infectious bursal disease virus( IBDV). [Methods] The 14-day-old SPF chickens were immunized with recombinant plasmids expressing VP2 protein and Akirin2 protein, and strengthened immunization was conducted at the 14 thday after the first immunization. Finally, test chickens were challenged with IBDVBC6-85 virulent strain. [Resultss]Test results showed that Akirin2 gene could enhance the specific immune response induced by VP2 DNA vaccine, improve the proliferation of peripheral blood lymphocytes and affect the expressing of cytokines TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-1β,IL-2,IL-4,IL 6,IL-9,IL-10,IL-17 and IL-18. Effects of recombinant plasmids co-expressing Akirin2 protein and VP2 protein on cytokine expression showed some differences with the recombinant plasmids expressing Akirin2 protein or VP2 protein along. [Conclusions] Chicken Akirin2 gene could significantly enhance the humoral immune response and cellular immune response induced by VP2 DNA vaccine of IBDV.Liu Chuangao Zhong Chuhong Ren Guangcai Zhu Jiaojiao Zhao Dawei Ye Junxian Zhao Bing Wen Lianghai Chen Ruiai 2017Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2017,9,2:0
