| 1 | Visual Voltammogram at an Array of Closed Bipolar Electrodes in a Ladder Configuration显示文摘In this paper,we report a method for obtaining a visual voltammogram at a linear array of closed wireless bipolar electrodes(BPEs).This advancement is significant,because the visual voltammogram captures the entire current-potential(i-E)relationship of a faradaic reaction in one image and is continuously generated over time.Therefore,we anticipate that this method will allow monitoring in redox systems that change over time.Further,the use of a linear array of BPEs eliminates the need to use a potentiostat and can be carried out with a simple DC power supply.Our experimental and numerical results demonstrate that the visual voltammogram is similar to a linear sweep voltammogram and therefore,information about the faradaic process can be extracted from the wave position,height,and shape. | Janis S.Borchers Olga Riusech Eric Rasmussen Robbyn K.Anand | 2019 | Journal of Analysis and Testing2019，3，2： | 0 |
| 2 | A Comparative Study of Artificial Neural Network and Response Surface Methodology for Optimization of Friction Welding of Incoloy 800 H显示文摘This article deals with the optimization of process parameters for friction welding of Incoloy 800 H rod and compares the results obtained by response surface methodology(RSM) and artificial neural network(ANN).The experiments were carried out on the basis of a five-level,four-variable central composite design.The output parameters were the tensile strength and burn-off length(BOL).They were considered as a function of four independent input variables,namely heating pressure(HP),heating time,upsetting pressure(UP),and upsetting time.The RSM results showed that the quadratic polynomial model depicted the interconnection between individual element and response.For optimizing the process parameters,ANN analysis was used,and the optimal configuration of the ANN model was found to be 4–9–2.For modeling aspect,a requisite trained multilayer perceptron neural network was rooted,and a quick propagation training algorithm was used to train ANN.The purpose of optimization was to decide the maximum tensile strength and minimum burn-off length of the welded joint which was done by varying the friction welding process variables.The order of importance of input parameters for friction welding of Incoloy 800 H was HP [ UP [ N [ BOL.After predicting the model using RSM and ANN,a comparison was made for predicting the effectiveness of two methodologies.By analyzing the results,it was observed that as compared to RSM,ANN model was more specific. | K.Anand Rishabh Shrivastava K.Tamilmannan P.Sathiya | 2015 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2015，28，7： | 0 |
| 3 | Endoscopic endonasal approaches to the craniovertebral junction:The Otolaryngologist’s perspective显示文摘Objective:To review indications and techniques for the endoscopic endonasal approach to the craniovertebral junction(CVJ),analyze postoperative outcomes,and discuss important technical considerations.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on all patients undergoing endonasal endoscopic approaches to the CVJ from May 2007 to June 2017.Demographic information,presenting symptoms,imaging results,treatment course,postoperative functional status,and followup were recorded.Results:There was a total of 30 patients in this series,with a mean follow-up of 11.7 months.The average age was 33.6 years(range,5e75 years),with 18 females and 12 males.The majority of patients(n Z 22,73.3%)had Chiari malformation type 1 with basilar invagination and symptomatic cervicomedullary compression as the indication for surgery.Intraoperative cerebrospinal fluid leak(CSF)was noted in 3 cases of odontoid resection and a single case of skull base resection.There were no postoperative CSF leaks.Overall,81%of patients resumed regular diet by post-operative day 2(range,0e8 days).Severe postoperative dysphagia occurred in two cases with one requiring gastrostomy tube placement and another utilizing total parenteral nutrition for support prior to eventual gastrostomy.On average,patients were extubated by postoperative day 0.93(range 0e3 days),with 85%extubated by postoperative day 1.A tracheotomy was required in one patient.Conclusion:The endonasal endoscopic approach is a valuable technique for access to the CVJ with minimal disruption of respiratory and alimentary function. | Qasirn Husain Matthew H.Kim Ibrahirn Hussain Vijay K.Anand Jeffrey P.Greenfield Theodore H.Schwartz Ashutosh Kacker | 2020 | World Journal of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery2020，6，2： | 0 |
