1Adaptive detection for distributed targets in Gaussian noise with Rao and Wald tests显示文摘The problem of adaptively detecting a range distributed target or targets in Gaussian interference is considered in this paper.It is assumed that a set of secondary data is available.Firstly,we derive the adaptive Rao and Wald tests with one-step detection algorithm,and find that both of them are of the same asymptotic performance as the GLRT one.Secondly,the Rao and Wald tests are derived by resorting to the two-step design strategy.To our surprise,our derivations show that all the Rao,Wald and GLR tests in the two-step design strategy are equivalent.Thirdly,the property assessments are presented.It is shown that these new detectors guarantee CFAR property with respect to the Gaussian noise.Finally,simulation results show that these results are accurate.SHUAI XiaoFei KONG LingJiang YANG JianYu 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,6:5
2A cellular automaton model for a bridge traffic bottleneck显示文摘A cellular automaton (CA) model is proposed in this paper to analyze a bridge traffic bottleneck. The simulation results with this model show that there are several phase transitions in the traffic average density, velocity and flow for each lane under a periodic boundary condition. An unstable phase in the traffic average density and velocity for the upstream and downstream lanes of the bridge is shown in a range of initial traffic densities. 4Adaptive detector design of MIMO radar with unknown covariance matrix显示文摘The problem of detecting signal with multiple input mul-tiple output (MIMO) radar in correlated Gaussian clutter dominated scenario with unknown covariance matrix is dealt with. The gen-eral MIMO model, with widely separated sub-arrays and co-located antennas at each sub-array, is adopted. Firstly, the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) with known covariance matrix is ob-tained, and then the Rao and Wald detectors are devised, which have proved that the Rao and Wald test coincide with GLRT detec-tor. To make the detectors fully adaptive, the secondary data with signal-free will be collected to estimate the covariance. The per-formance of the proposed detector is analyzed, however, it is just ancillary. A thorough performance assessment by several numer-ical examples is also given, which has considered the sense with co-located antennas configure of transmitters and receivers array. 5CP-based MIMO OFDM radar IRCI free range reconstruction using real orthogonal designs显示文摘In this paper, we propose a range reconstruction method for a frequency-band shared multipleinput multiple-output(MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) radar with sufficient cyclic prefix(CP) by using real orthogonal designs. Compared with the application of complex orthogonal designs in our previous work, the application of real orthogonal designs can significantly reduce the number of the all-zero-valued pulses in a coherent processing interval(CPI) for each transmitter and increase the efficiency of radar transmitters. Meanwhile, it still maintains the advantages of full spatial diversity without inter-range-cell interference(IRCI). We also apply the rate-1 real orthogonal designs for different numbers of transmitters and pulses for range reconstruction without any idleness of radar transmitters. 18MICRO-MOTION TARGET SENSING BY STEPPED-FREQUENCY CONTINUOUS-WAVE RADAR显示文摘Mechanical micro-vibration of a target may induce phase modulations on the radar echo,and the vibration can be detected to identify micro-motion target. In this paper,a new method to detect a micro-motion target and obtain its range and micro-motion frequency is proposed in which multiple periods stepped-frequency continuous-wave signal and Moving Target Indication (MTI) filter are adopted. The simulation results illustrate the validity of this method and present the detection of the target range and the vibration frequency.
