| 1 | Resting-state connectivity in the default mode network and insula during experimental low back pain显示文摘Functional magnetic resonance imaging studies have shown that the insular cortex has a significant role in pain identification and information integration, while the default mode network is associated with cognitive and memory-related aspects of pain perception. However, changes in the functional connectivity between the default mode network and insula during pain remain unclear. This study used 3.0 T functional magnetic resonance imaging scans in 12 healthy subjects aged 24.8 ± 3.3 years to compare the differences in the functional activity and connectivity of the insula and default mode network between the baseline and pain condition induced by intramuscular injection of hypertonic saline. Compared with the baseline, the insula was more functionally connected with the medial prefrontal and lateral temporal cortices, whereas there was lower connectivity with the posterior cingulate cortex, precuneus and inferior parietal lobule in the pain condition. In addition, compared with baseline, the anterior cingulate cortex exhibited greater connectivity with the posterior insula, but lower connectivity with the anterior insula, during the pain condition. | 3 | Preliminary Study on Production Performance of Different Varieties of Forage Mulberry显示文摘A comparative study was conducted on four mulberry( Morus alba) varieties( lines) in Hunan dry land from the aspects of production performance,nutritional composition and amino acids content. The result showed that the four mulberry varieties all adjusted well to soil,climate and other natural conditions in Hunan province,presenting good growth. The dry matter content of four varieties( lines) was above 25% and the crude protein content was more than 22%. Although the crude protein and total amino acid content of four mulberry varieties were lower than that of soybean powder,the proportion of various amino acids tended to be consistent,so mulberry leaf was very comprehensive in nutrition as an animal feed. Yuesang 11 had the highest fresh yield and crude protein of 14. 28 t / hm^2 and23. 22% respectively; Guisangyou 12 had the highest total amino acid content of 19. 58%. | 4 | A Macroinvertebrate Multimetric Index for the Bioassessment of Wetlands Adjacent to Agriculture Fields in the Sanjiang Plain, China显示文摘Adjacent intensive agriculture disturbs the natural condition of wetlands.However, to assess the effect of this agriculture on wetlands, few studies have used indices based on aquatic invertebrates.Multi-metric indices(MMIs) have been successfully used to assess freshwater ecosystems worldwide and are an important management tool, but little is known about their applicability in the Sanjiang Plain, Northeast China.In this study, we developed a MMIs for aquatic invertebrates to assess freshwater wetlands in this region.The aquatic invertebrate assemblages were sampled in 27 wetlands in the Sanjiang Plain that included those in natural reserves and those affected by adjacent, intensive agriculture.Twenty-four candidate metrics were initially reviewed and screened before four core metrics were selected: total number of taxa, number of Hemiptera taxa, proportion of Gastropoda, and proportion of predators.Mann-Whitney U tests, Box and Whisker plots, correlation analyses, and redundant metric tests were used to assess the ability of metrics to distinguish among reference and impaired wetlands.Four ordinal rating categories for wetland were defined: poor, fair, good, and excellent.Of the impaired freshwater wetlands, 76.2% were in poor or fair categories.The MMIs was robust in discriminating reference wetlands from impaired wetlands and therefore have potential as a biomonitoring tool to assess the condition and to guide the restoration efforts of freshwater wetlands in Northeast China. | WU Haitao LU Kangle LYU Xianguo XUE Zhenshan | 2019 | Chinese Geographical Science2019,29,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Photocatalytic degradation of sulfadiazine in suspensions of TiO_(2)nanosheets with exposed(001)facets显示文摘Antibiotics such as sulfonamides are widely used in agriculture as growth promoters and medicine in treatment of infectious diseases.However,the release of these antibiotics has caused serious environmental problems.In this paper,photocatalytic oxidation technology was used to degrade sulfadiazine(SDZ),one of the typical sulfonamides antibiotics,in UV illuminated TiO_(2)suspensions.It was found that TiO_(2)nanosheets(TiO_(2)-NSs)with exposed(001)facets exhibit much higher photoreactivity towards SDZ degradation compared to TiO_(2)nanoparticles(TiO_(2)-NPs)with a rate constant increases from0.017 min^(-1)to 0.035 min^(-1),improving by a factor of 2.1.Under the attacking of reactive oxygen species(ROSs)such as superoxide radicals(*O_(2)^(-))and hydroxyl radicals(*OH),SDZ was steady degraded on the surface of TiO_(2)-NSs.Based on the identification of the produced intermediates by LC–MS/MS,possible degradation pathways of SDZ,which include desulfonation,oxidation and cleavage,were put forwards.After UV irradiation for 4 h,nearly 90%of the total organic carbon(TOC)can be removed in suspensions of TiO_(2)-NSs,indicating the mineralization of SDZ.TiO_(2)-NSs also exhibits excellent stability in photocatalytic degradation of SDZ in wide range of pH.Even after recycling used for 7 times,more than 91.3%of the SDZ can be efficiently removed,indicating that they are promising to be practically used in treatment of wastewater containing antibiotics. | Xiaofan Xiang Laiyan Wu Junjiang Zhu Jiazhou Li Xi Liao Hongcheng Huang Jiajie Fan Kangle Lv | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10: | 0 |
| 6 | Effect of anisotropic resistance characteristic on boundary-layer transitional flow显示文摘It is observed that the feather surface exhibits anisotropic resistances for the streamwise and spanwise flows.To obtain a qualitative understanding about the effect of this anisotropic resistance feature of surface on the boundary-layer transitional flow over a flat plate,a simple phenomenological model for the anisotropic resistance is established in this paper.By means of the large eddy simulation(LES)with high-order accurate finite difference method,the numerical investigations are conducted.The numerical results show that with the spanwise resistance hindering the formation of vortexes,the transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow can be delayed,and turbulence is weakened when the flow becomes fully turbulent,which leads to significant drag reduction for the plate.On the contrary,the streamwise resistance renders the flow less stable,which leads to the earlier transition and enhances turbulence in the turbulent region,causing a drag increase for the plate.Thus,it is indicated that a surface with large resistance for spanwise flow and small resistance for streamwise flow can achieve significant drag reduction.The present results highlight the anisotropic resistance characteristic near the feather surface for drag reduction,and shed a light on the study of bird’s efficient flight. | Zheng HONG Zhengyin YE Kangling WU Kun YE | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,12: | 0 |
