1考虑残余强度的岩石热损伤统计本构模型研究(英文)显示文摘随着地球浅部矿物资源逐渐枯竭,资源开采不断走向地球深部,模拟深部高温高压条件下岩石应变软化变形破坏行为是岩石力学研究的重要内容。本文基于Lemaitre应变等价性理论,结合统计学和损伤力学,同时引入损伤变量修正系数考虑岩石残余强度对峰后曲线的影响,建立了三轴压缩条件下岩石热力耦合统计损伤本构方程,并通过试验验证模型的合理性。研究结果表明:温度–荷载总损伤演化曲线反映了岩石内部微裂纹闭合、萌生、扩展、贯通、直至出现宏观裂纹的全过程;岩石的热损伤变量随温度的升高呈logistic函数增长;同等应变情况下,损伤变量随围压的升高而减小,通过研究岩石破裂后SEM电镜图片,推断出35.40MPa是花岗岩的脆塑性转换临界围压;模型分布参数F反映了岩石的平均强度,m反映了岩石应力–应变曲线的形态特征。该模型不仅能反映温度、围压对岩石损伤的影响,而且能较好地反映岩石峰后残余强度阶段变形特征,模型参数物理意义明确,适用于复杂应力状态情况,这对于研究深部岩石损伤软化问题具有重要的意义。徐小丽 KARAKUS Murat 高峰 张志镇 2018Journal of Central South University2018,25,10:19
2Effects of water content, water type and temperature on the rheological behaviour of slag-cement and fly ash-cement paste backfill显示文摘The pumping ability and placement performance of fresh cemented paste backfill(CPB) in underground mined cavities depend on its rheological properties. Hence, it is crucial to understand the rheology of fresh CPB slurry, which is related to CPB mixture design and the temperature underground. This paper presented an experimental study investigating the effects of binder type, content, water chemical properties and content, and temperature, on the rheological properties of CPB material prepared using the tailings of a copper mine in South Australia. Portland cement(PC), a newly released commercially manufactured cement called Minecem(MC) and fly ash(FA) were used as the binders added to the mine tailing materials. Various amounts of two different water types were added to the mixtures in the preparation of backfill material slurry. Six different temperatures ranging from 5 to 60 °C were to investigate the effect of temperature on CPB rheology. Overall, the increasing water content and decreasing temperature lead to lower yield stress. Based on the results obtained from the rheological properties of CPB slurry, it was found that at room temperature(25 °C), with regards to the unconfined compressive strength(UCS) performance, the replacement of 4% PC mixed CPB(28 days UCS 425 k Pa) to 3% MC mixed CPB(28 days UCS 519 k Pa), reduced the slurry yield stress from 210.7 to 178.5 Pa. The results also showed that the chemical composition of water affects the yield stress of CPB slurry and that MC mitigates the negative effect of mine-processed water(MW) and thus lead to improve the rheological properties of the slurry. However, the results suggested that the rheological properties of a mixture using MC is very sensitive to the water volume and temperature change. 4Current understandings of the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes:Genetics to environment显示文摘Type 1 diabetes(T1D)is an autoimmune disease that usually strikes early in life,but can affect individuals at almost any age.It is caused by autoreactive T cells that destroy insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas.Epidemiological studies estimate a prevalence of 1 in 300 children in the United States with an increasing incidence of 2%-5%annually worldwide.The daily responsibility,clinical management,and vigilance required to maintain blood sugar levels within normal range and avoid acute complications(hypoglycemic episodes and diabetic ketoacidosis)and long term micro-and macro-vascular complications significantly affects quality of life and public health care costs.Given the expansive impact of T1D,research work has accelerated and T1D has been intensively investigated with the focus to better understand,manage and cure this condition.Many advances have been made in the past decades in this regard,but key questions remain as to why certain people develop T1D,but not others,with the glaring example of discordant disease incidence among monozygotic twins.In this review,we discuss the field’s current understanding of its pathophysiology and the role of genetics and environment on the development of T1D.We examine the potential implications of these findings with an emphasis on T1D inheritance patterns,twin studies,and disease prevention.Through a better understanding of this process,interventions can be developed to prevent or halt it at early stages.Adebola Matthew Giwa Rizwan Ahmed Zahra Omidian Neha Majety Kagan Ege Karakus Sarah M Omer Thomas Donner Abdel Rahim A Hamad 2020World Journal of Diabetes2020,11,1:2
525 Gbps low-voltage hetero-structured silicongermanium waveguide pin photodetectors for monolithic on-chip nanophotonic architectures显示文摘Near-infrared germanium(Ge) photodetectors monolithically integrated on top of silicon-on-insulator substrates are universally regarded as key enablers towards chip-scale nanophotonics, with applications ranging from sensing and health monitoring to object recognition and optical communications. In this work, we report on the highdata-rate performance pin waveguide photodetectors made of a lateral hetero-structured silicon-Ge-silicon(Si-Ge-Si) junction operating under low reverse bias at 1.55 μm. The pin photodetector integration scheme considerably eases device manufacturing and is fully compatible with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology. In particular, the hetero-structured Si-Ge-Si photodetectors show efficiency-bandwidth products of^9 GHz at-1 V and ~30 GHz at-3 V, with a leakage dark current as low as ~150 nA, allowing superior signal detection of high-speed data traffic. A bit-error rate of 10-9 is achieved for conventional 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, and25 Gbps data rates, yielding optical power sensitivities of-13.85 dBm,-12.70 dBm, and-11.25 dBm, respectively.
