1Melting Heat in Radiative Flow of Carbon Nanotubes with Homogeneous-Heterogeneous Reactions显示文摘The present article provides mathematical modeling for melting heat and thermal radiation in stagnationpoint flow of carbon nanotubes towards a nonlinear stretchable surface of variable thickness. The process of homogeneousheterogeneous reactions is considered. Diffusion coefficients are considered equal for both reactant and autocatalyst.Water and gasoline oil are taken as base fluids. The conversion of partial differential system to ordinary differential system is done by suitable transformations. Optimal homotopy technique is employed for the solutions development of velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction and local Nusselt number. Graphical results for various values of pertinent parameters are displayed and discussed. 4Identification of Software Bugs by Analyzing Natural Language-Based Requirements Using Optimized Deep Learning Features显示文摘Software project outcomes heavily depend on natural language requirements,often causing diverse interpretations and issues like ambiguities and incomplete or faulty requirements.Researchers are exploring machine learning to predict software bugs,but a more precise and general approach is needed.Accurate bug prediction is crucial for software evolution and user training,prompting an investigation into deep and ensemble learning methods.However,these studies are not generalized and efficient when extended to other datasets.Therefore,this paper proposed a hybrid approach combining multiple techniques to explore their effectiveness on bug identification problems.The methods involved feature selection,which is used to reduce the dimensionality and redundancy of features and select only the relevant ones;transfer learning is used to train and test the model on different datasets to analyze how much of the learning is passed to other datasets,and ensemble method is utilized to explore the increase in performance upon combining multiple classifiers in a model.Four National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)and four Promise datasets are used in the study,showing an increase in the model’s performance by providing better Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(AUC-ROC)values when different classifiers were combined.It reveals that using an amalgam of techniques such as those used in this study,feature selection,transfer learning,and ensemble methods prove helpful in optimizing the software bug prediction models and providing high-performing,useful end mode.Qazi Mazhar ul Haq Fahim Arif Khursheed Aurangzeb Noor ul Ain Javed Ali Khan Saddaf Rubab Muhammad Shahid Anwar 2024Computers, Materials & Continua2024,78,3:0
5NPBMT: A Novel and Proficient Buffer Management Technique for Internet of Vehicle-Based DTNs显示文摘Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)have the major problem of message delay in the network due to a lack of endto-end connectivity between the nodes,especially when the nodes are mobile.The nodes in DTNs have limited buffer storage for storing delayed messages.This instantaneous sharing of data creates a low buffer/shortage problem.Consequently,buffer congestion would occur and there would be no more space available in the buffer for the upcoming messages.To address this problem a buffer management policy is proposed named“A Novel and Proficient Buffer Management Technique(NPBMT)for the Internet of Vehicle-Based DTNs”.NPBMT combines appropriate-size messages with the lowest Time-to-Live(TTL)and then drops a combination of the appropriate messages to accommodate the newly arrived messages.To evaluate the performance of the proposed technique comparison is done with Drop Oldest(DOL),Size Aware Drop(SAD),and Drop Larges(DLA).The proposed technique is implemented in the Opportunistic Network Environment(ONE)simulator.The shortest path mapbased movement model has been used as the movement path model for the nodes with the epidemic routing protocol.From the simulation results,a significant change has been observed in the delivery probability as the proposed policy delivered 380 messages,DOL delivered 186 messages,SAD delivered 190 messages,and DLA delivered only 95 messages.A significant decrease has been observed in the overhead ratio,as the SAD overhead ratio is 324.37,DLA overhead ratio is 266.74,and DOL and NPBMT overhead ratios are 141.89 and 52.85,respectively,which reveals a significant reduction of overhead ratio in NPBMT as compared to existing policies.The network latency average of DOL is 7785.5,DLA is 5898.42,and SAD is 5789.43 whereas the NPBMT latency average is 3909.4.This reveals that the proposed policy keeps the messages for a short time in the network,which reduces the overhead ratio.Sikandar Khan Khalid Saeed Muhammad Faran Majeed Salman A.AlQahtani Khursheed Aurangzeb Muhammad Shahid Anwar 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10:0
6Gastric Tract Disease Recognition Using Optimized Deep Learning Features显示文摘Artificial intelligence aids for healthcare have received a great deal of attention.Approximately one million patients with gastrointestinal diseases have been diagnosed via wireless capsule endoscopy(WCE).Early diagnosis facilitates appropriate treatment and saves lives.Deep learning-based techniques have been used to identify gastrointestinal ulcers,bleeding sites,and polyps.However,small lesions may be misclassified.We developed a deep learning-based best-feature method to classify various stomach diseases evident in WCE images.Initially,we use hybrid contrast enhancement to distinguish diseased from normal regions.Then,a pretrained model is fine-tuned,and further training is done via transfer learning.Deep features are extracted from the last two layers and fused using a vector length-based approach.We improve the genetic algorithm using a fitness function and kurtosis to select optimal features that are graded by a classifier.We evaluate a database containing 24,000 WCE images of ulcers,bleeding sites,polyps,and healthy tissue.The cubic support vector machine classifier was optimal;the average accuracy was 99%.Zainab Nayyar Muhammad Attique Khan Musaed Alhussein Muhammad Nazir Khursheed Aurangzeb Yunyoung Nam Seifedine Kadry Syed Irtaza Haider 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
7Analysis and Characterization of Normally-Off Gallium Nitride High Electron Mobility Transistors显示文摘High electron mobility transistor(HEMT)based on gallium nitride(GaN)is one of the most promising candidates for the future generation of high frequencies and high-power electronic applications.This research work aims at designing and characterization of enhancement-mode or normally-off GaN HEMT.The impact of variations in gate length,mole concentration,barrier variations and other important design parameters on the performance of normally-off GaN HEMT is thoroughly investigated.An increase in the gate length causes a decrease in the drain current and transconductance,while an increase in drain current and transconductance can be achieved by increasing the concentration of aluminium(Al).For Al mole fractions of 23%,25%,and 27%,within Al gallium nitride(AlGaN)barrier,the GaN HEMT devices provide a maximum drain current of 347,408 and 474 mA/μm and a transconductance of 19,20.2,21.5 mS/μm,respectively.Whereas,for Al mole fraction of 10%and 15%,within AlGaN buffer,these devices are observed to provide a drain current of 329 and 283 mA/μm,respectively.Furthermore,for a gate length of 2.4,3.4,and 4.4μm,the device is observed to exhibit a maximum drain current of 272,235,and 221 mA/μm and the transconductance of 16.2,14,and 12.3 mS/μm,respectively.It is established that a maximum drain current of 997 mA/μm can be achieved with an Al concentration of 23%,and the device exhibits a steady drain current with enhanced transconductance.These observations demonstrate tremendous potential for two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG)for securing of the normally-off mode operation.A suitable setting of gate length and other design parameters is critical in preserving the normally-off mode operation while also enhancing the critical performance parameters at the same time.Due to the normallyon depletion-mode nature of GaN HEMT,it is usually not considered as suitable for high power levels,frequencies,and temperature.In such settings,a negative bias is required to enter the blocking condition;however,in the before-mentioned normally-off devices,the negative bias can be avoided and the channel can be depleted without applying a negative bias.Shahzaib Anwar Sardar Muhammad Gulfam Bilal Muhammad Syed Junaid Nawaz Khursheed Aurangzeb Mohammad Kaleem 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,10:0
8Reservoir Potential Assessment of the Tortonian-Calabrian Sediments from Offshore Makran(Southwest Pakistan)through a Multidisciplinary Approach显示文摘The Tortonian–Calabrian strata of Offshore Makran(Pakistan)is investigated for the purpose of reservoir assessment.The stratigraphy and petrophysics indicate that the Neogene sediments have tight reservoir potential with porosities in the range of 3%–9%and 40%–50%water saturation.The mineralogical cross plots indicate a mixed lithology with an abundance of dolomite and calcite,together with minor quartz content and shale.The seismic interpretation demonstrates medium–high amplitude reflection patterns,mud diapirs coupled with onlapping strata and the occurrence of bottom simulating reflectors(BSRs).The BSRs are characterized by diminished amplitude,low continuity and exhibiting acoustic blanking zones.The high formation pressure results indicate overpressure zones,suggesting the occurrence of overpressured shales in the Jal Pari-1A.The presence of mud diapirs and gas chimneys are the result of tectonic forces acting at the junction of the Arabian,Indian and Eurasian plates,whereas,BSRs prove the existence of gas charged sediments supporting the formation of mud diapirism in the region.It is concluded that the high rates of sedimentation during the Neogene are likely to have contributed to the development of the high formation pressure.Revised mud weights,casing policies,pore pressure transients and geophysical inversion studies will help alleviate drilling risks in future exploration strategies.Natasha KHAN Awais ALI Salahudin KHURSHEED Kashif ALI Muhammad SAEED 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,1:0
