| 1 | Non-invasive diagnosis of advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis显示文摘Liver cirrhosis is a common and growing public health problem globally.The diagnosis of cirrhosis portends an increased risk of morbidity and mortality.Liver biopsy is considered the gold standard for diagnosis of cirrhosis and staging of fibrosis.However,despite its universal use,liver biopsy is an invasive and inaccurate gold standard with numerous drawbacks.In order to overcome the limitations of liver biopsy,a number of non-invasive techniques have been investigated for the assessment of cirrhosis.This review will focus on currently available non-invasive markers of cirrhosis.The evidence behind the use of these markers will be highlighted,along with an assessment of diagnostic accuracy and performance characteristics of each test.Non-invasive markers of cirrhosis can be radiologic or serum-based.Radiologic techniques based on ultrasound,magnetic resonance imaging and elastography have been used to assess liver fibrosis.Serum-based biomarkers of cirrhosis have also been developed.These are broadly classified into indirect and direct markers.Indirect biomarkers reflect liver function,which may decline with the onset of cirrhosis.Direct biomarkers,reflect extracellular matrix turnover,and include molecules involved in hepatic fibrogenesis.On the whole,radiologic and serum markers of fibrosis correlate well with biopsy scores,especially when excluding cirrhosis or excluding fibrosis.This feature is certainly clinically useful,and avoids liver biopsy in many cases. | Suraj Sharma Korosh Khalili Geoffrey Christopher Nguyen | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，45： | 28 |
| 2 | Optimization of the fully grouted rock bolts for load transfer enhancement显示文摘The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of bolt profile configuration in load transfer capacity between the bolt and grout.Therefore,five types of rock bolts are used with different profiles.The rock bolts are modeled by ANSYS software.Models show that profile rock bolt T_3 and T_ with load capacity 180 and 195 kN in the jointed rocks,are the optimum profiles.Finally,the performances of the selected profiles are examined in Tabas Coal Mine by FLAC software.There is good subscription between the results of numerical modeling and instrumentation reading such as tells tale,sonic extensometer and strain gauge rock bolt.According to the finding of this study,the proposed pattern of rock bolts,on 7 + 6 patterns per meter with 2 flexi bolt(4 m) for support gate road. | Ghadimi Mostafa Shahriar Korosh Jalalifar Hossein | 2015 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015，25，5： | 8 |
| 3 | A critical review on the developments of rock support systems in high stress ground conditions显示文摘Extreme ground behaviour in high-stress rock masses such as rockburst prone and squeezing ground conditions are encountered in a range of underground projects both in civil and mining applications.The occurrence of such ground behaviour types are difficult to predict and special design and construction measures must be taken to control them.Determining the most appropriate support system in such grounds is one of the major challenges for ground control engineers because there are many contributing factors to be considered,such as the rock mass parameters,the stress condition,the type and performance of the support systems,the condition of major geological structures and the size and geometry of the underground excavation.The main characteristics and support requirements of rockburst-prone and squeezing ground conditions are herein critically reviewed and characteristics of support functions are discussed.Different types of energy-absorbing rockbolts and other support elements applicable for ground support in burst-prone and squeezing grounds are introduced.Important differences in the choice and economics of ground support strategies in high-stress ground conditions between civil tunnels and mining excavations are discussed.Ground support benchmarking data and mitigation measures for mines and civil tunnels in burst-prone,squeezing and heavily swelling grounds conditions are briefly presented by some examples in practice. | Masoud Ghorbani Korosh Shahriar Mostafa Sharifzadeh Reza Masoudi | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020，30，5： | 8 |

| 13 | Germline BRCA2 variants in advanced pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma:A case report and review of literature显示文摘BACKGROUND Pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma(PACC)is a rare tumor.Up to 45%of PACCs have alterations in the DNA damage repair pathway and 23%harbor rearrangements in the BRAF or RAF1 genes.We present a PACC case with a germline BRCA2 likely pathogenic variant(LPV)to highlight the impact of genomic testing on treatment decisions and patient outcomes.In our larger case series,we provide clinic-based information on additional 10 PACC patients treated in our center.CASE SUMMARY A 70-year-old male was diagnosed with advanced PACC.At presentation,he was cachectic with severe arthralgia despite prednisolone and a skin rash that was later confirmed to be panniculitis.He was treated with modified FOLFIRINOX(mFFX)with the knowledge of the germline BRCA2 LPV.Following 11 cycles of mFFX,a computed tomography(CT)scan demonstrated significant tumor response in the pancreatic primary and hepatic metastases,totaling 70%from baseline as per Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors.Resolution of the skin panniculitis was also noted.We identified two additional PACCs with druggable targets in our case series.Our data contribute to practical evidence for the value of germline and somatic profiling in the management of rare diseases like PACC.CONCLUSION This patient and others in our larger case series highlight the importance of genomic testing in PACC with potential utility in personalized treatment. | Cha Len Lee Spring Holter Ayelet Borgida Anna Dodd Stephanie Ramotar Robert Grant Kristy Wasson Elena Elimova Raymond W Jang Malcolm Moore Tae Kyoung Kim Korosh Khalili Carol-Anne Moulton Steven Gallinger Grainne M O’Kane Jennifer J Knox | 2022 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2022，28，45： | 0 |
