9Identification of fruit and branch in natural scenes for citrus harvesting robot using machine vision and support vector machine显示文摘With the decrease of agricultural labor and the increase of production cost,the researches on citrus harvesting robot(CHR)have received more and more attention in recent years.For the success of robotic harvesting and the safety of robot,the identification of mature citrus fruit and obstacle is the priority of robotic harvesting.In this work,a machine vision system,which consisted of a color CCD camera and a computer,was developed to achieve these tasks.Images of citrus trees were captured under sunny and cloudy conditions.Due to varying degrees of lightness and position randomness of fruits and branches,red,green,and blue values of objects in these images are changed dramatically.The traditional threshold segmentation is not efficient to solve these problems.Multi-class support vector machine(SVM),which succeeds by morphological operation,was used to simultaneously segment the fruits and branches in this study.The recognition rate of citrus fruit was 92.4%,and the branch of which diameter was more than 5 pixels,could be recognized.The results showed that the algorithm could be used to detect the fruits and branches for CHR.Lü Qiang Cai Jianrong Liu Bin Deng Lie Zhang Yajing 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,2:17

14New Material of Pterosaur Sinopterus (Reptilia:Pterosauria) from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation,Western Liaoning,China显示文摘Based on a new nearly complete postcranial skeleton of an adult specimen of Sinopterus from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of western Liaoning, China, the diagnosis of Sinopterus is amended. The revised diagnosis of Sinopterus includes skull relatively elongate with weakly developed cranial crest; ratio of the length of Ph2d4 to that of Ph1d4 is approximately 0.73; ratio of the length of wing metacarpal to that of metatarsal 3 is 4.5; ratio of the length of mt3 to that of tibia is approximately 0.21, and wing phalanges 1 and 2 are straight. Comparison between the ratios of the limb bones between non-adult and adult individuals of Sinopterus indicates that during the ontogenetic process, some ratios between bones are constant, such as the first wing phalanx to the second wing phalanx, the wing metacarpal to the metatarsal 3, metatarsal 3 to the tibia, but others are not, such as humerus to wing metacarpal and femur to tibia, in which the former grows faster than the latter.Lü Junchang LIU Jinyuan WANG Xuri GAO Chunling MENG Qingjin JI Qiang 2006Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2006,80,6:1
15Historical Sediment Record of ^(137)Cs, δ-HCH, and δ^(13)C Reflects the Impact of Land Use on Soil Erosion显示文摘This paper reports the concentrations of 137 Cs, hexachlorocyclohexane(HCH), dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethanes(DDT) and its main degradation products, δ13C, and organic carbon in pond sediments(0-210 cm, sectioned by 2-20 cm interval) and surface soils(the 0-3 cm horizon) collected in 2010 from Chenjia catchment, which is located in Yanting county in the hilly central Sichuan of China. α-, δ-, and γ-HCH, DDT, and DDD were not detected throughout the sediment profile. Trace concentrations of δ-HCH(0.89-29.31 ng g-1) and p,p′-DDE(1.85-6.02 ng g-1) were detected only in top 40 cm sediment. The 137 Cs fallout peak in 1963(corresponding to the 55-60 cm depth), the sedimentary signature left by the last year of HCH use in 1989(an additional indicator at 20-25 cm), and the obvious original channel bed prior to the construction of the pond in 1956 were used as temporal markers to estimate changes in average sedimentation rate between different periods due to changes in land use. Continuous, marked decrease in average sedimentation rate(i.e., 3.79, 1.35 and 1.07 cm year-1 in 1956-1963, 1963-1989, and 1989-2010, respectively)over time was observed, probably due to the reforestation, abandoning of steep sloping farmland for afforestation and natural re-vegetation(implementation of the Grain for Green Program), and the conversion of part of gently sloping farmland terraces to orchard land since the 1980 s, especially since the 1990 s. This was corroborated by the observed decrease(more negative) in δ13C of sediment towards the surface, which indicates increased relative contribution of eroded soil particles coming from slopes with increased tree cover in sediment source area. 16Double role of CoOeCo_(4)N hetero-nanocages as sulfur host for lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries(LiSBs)are widely deemed as the most promising energy storage devices to substitute for traditional Li-ion batteries.However,its wide application is impeded by the soluble lithium polysulfides(LiPSs),which is called the shuttle effect,and the irregular distribution of final product Li_(2)S.Herein,based on the interfaces engineering,CoO-Co_(4)N hetero-nanocages are used as the sulfur host for LiSBs.Taking advantage of the polarity of CoO with the conductivity of Co_(4)N,CoO-Co_(4)N nanocages not only can provide large void space for sulfur volume fluctuation,but also can adsorb polysulfides and simultaneously regulate the nucleation of solid Li_(2)S by the‘trapping-diffusion-conversion’mechanism,which significantly enhances the redox kinetic of LiSBs and the utilization of active materials.Eventually,LiSBs with CoO-Co_(4)N nanocages host exhibit higher rate capacity(737 mAh·g^(-1) at 2 C)and cycling stability(662 mAh·g^(-1) at^(-1) C after 350 cycles).Even when the areal sulfur loading is as high as 3.0 mg cm^(-2),a high capacity of 713 mAh·g^(-1) can still be achieved after 100 cycles at 0.2 C.This host with sufficient polar-conductive interfaces expands‘trapping-diffusion-conversion’concept for the design of fast kinetic and high performance LSBs.Yi-Ming Lu Jin-Lin Yang Shi-Xi Zhao Xiang-Tian Zeng Lü-Qiang Yu Chao Huang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,6:0
17Influence of pouring methods on filling process,microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ91 Mg alloy pipe by horizontal centrifugal casting显示文摘Pouring position as the input heat source has great infl uence on the temperature fi eld evolution. In this study, the Flow3 D simulation software was applied to investigate the infl uence of pouring methods(with fi xed or moving pouring channel) on AZ91 Mg alloy horizontal centrifugal casting(HCC) process. The simulation results show that the moving pouring channel method can effectively increase the cooling rate and formability of casting pipe. The casting experiment shows that an AZ91 Mg alloy casting pipe with homogeneous microstructure and clear contour was obtained by the moving pouring channel method, and the grain size of the casting pipe is signifi cantly decreased. Meanwhile, serious macro-segregation appeared in the AZ91 casting pipe by the fi xed pouring channel HCC process. 19Effects of seasonal water-level fluctuation on soil pore structure in the Three Gorges Reservoir,China显示文摘Inundation of the Three Gorges Reservoir has created a 30-m water-level fluctuation zone with seasonal hydrological alternations of submergence and exposure, which may greatly affect soil properties and bank stability. The aim of this study was to investigate the response of soil pore structure to seasonal water-level fluctuation in the reservoir, and particularly, the hydrological change of wetting and drying cycles. Soil pore structure was visualized with industrial X-ray computed tomography and digital image analysis techniques. The results showed that soil total porosity(? 100 ?m), total pore number, total throat number, and mean throat surface area increased significantly under wetting and drying cycles. Soil porosity, pore number and throat numberwithin each size class increased in the course of wetting and drying cycles. The coordination number, degree of anisotropy and fractal dimension were indicating an increase. In contrast, the mean shape factor, pore-throat ratio, and Euler-Poincaré number decreased due to wetting and drying cycles. These illustrated that the wetting and drying cycles made soil pore structure become more porous, continuous, heterogeneous and complex. 20Study on reactions of gaseous P_2O_5 with Ca_3(PO_4)_2 and SiO_2 during a rotary kiln process for phosphoric acid production显示文摘In a rotary kiln process for phosphoric acid production,the reaction between gaseous phosphorus pentoxide(P_2O_5)and phosphate ore and silica contained in feed balls(the so-called P_2O_5'absorption')not only reduces phosphorous recovery but also generates a large amount of low melting-point side products.The products may give rise to formation of kiln ring,which interferes with kiln operation performance.In this study,the reactions of gaseous P_2O_5with solid calcium phosphate(Ca_3(PO_4)_2),silica(SiO_2)and their mixture,respectively,were investigated via combined chemical analysis and various characterizations comprised of X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimeter(TG&DSC),and scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer(SEM&EDS).Attentions were focused on apparent morphology,phase transformation and thermal stability of the products of the P_2O_5'absorption'at different temperatures.The results show that the temperature significantly affected the'absorption'.The reaction between pure Ca_3(PO_4)_2 and P_2O_5 occurred at 500°C.Calcium metaphosphate(Ca(PO_3)_2)was the primary product at the temperatures≤900°C with its melting point≤900°C while calcium pyrophosphate(Ca_2P_2O_7)was obtained over 1000°C,which has a melting point≤1200°C.The'absorption'by pure SiO_2 started at 800°C and the most significant reaction occurred at 1000°C with formation of silicon pyrophosphate(SiP_2O_7)product of melting point≤1000°C.Using mixed Ca_3(PO_4)_2and SiO_2as raw material,the'absorption'by Ca_3(PO_4)_2 was enhanced due to existence of silica.At 600–700°C,silica was inert to P_2O_5and thus formed a porous structure in the raw material,which accelerated diffusion of gaseous P_2O_5inside the mixture.At higher temperatures,the combined'absorption'by calcium phosphate and reaction between silicon dioxide and the'absorption'product calcium pyrophosphate,reinforced the'absorption'by the mixture.Besides,it was found that both Ca(PO_3)_2and SiP_2O_7were unstable at high temperatures and would decompose to Ca_2P_2O_7and SiO_2,respectively,at over 1000°C and 1100°C with the release of gaseous P_2O_5at the same time.Qiang Liu Weizao Liu Li Lü Ruhu Li Bin Liang Hairong Yue Shengwei Tang Chun Li 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,4:3
