| 2 | Spin-orbit coupling and zero-field splitting of the high-spin ferric enzyme-substrate complex:Protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase complexed with 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetate显示文摘We used density functional calculations to investigate the electronic origins of the magnetic properties of the high-spin ferric enzyme-substrate complex protocatechuate 3,4-dioxygenase(3,4-PCD).The calculated g-tensors show that ligand-to-metal charge transfer transitions are from the protocatechuate(PCA) and Tyr408 orbitals to the Fe d orbitals,which lead to x-and y-polarized transitions.These polarized transitions require a spin-orbit coupling(SOC) matrix element in the z-direction,Lz(z=z'),resulting in a g z value of 2.0158,significantly deviating from 2.0023.A large zero-field splitting parameter value of+1.147cm-1 is due to △S =-1 spin-orbit mixing with the quartet states for the sextet ground state,accounting for around 73% of the SOC contribution.The SOC matrix elements indicate that the high-spin d 5 system Fe(Ⅲ),3,4-PCD-PCA is a weak spin-crossover compound with an SOC of 31.56 cm-1. | Lü LingLing ZHU YuanCheng WANG XiaoFang ZUO GuoFang GUO Feng ZHAO SuRui WANG YongCheng | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,6: | 1 |

| 4 | Boosting oxygen reduction activity and CO_(2) resistance on bismuth ferrite-based perovskite cathode for low-temperature solid oxide fuel cells below 600℃显示文摘Developing efficient and stable cathodes for low-temperature solid oxide fuel cells(LT-SOFCs) is of great importance for the practical commercialization.Herein,we propose a series of Sm-modified Bi_(0.7-x)Sm_xSr_(0.3)FeO_(3-δ) perovskites as highly-active catalysts for LT-SOFCs.Sm doping can significantly enhance the electrocata lytic activity and chemical stability of cathode.At 600℃,Bi_(0.675)Sm_(0.025)Sr_(0.3)FeO_(3-δ)(BSSF25) cathode has been found to be the optimum composition with a polarization resistance of 0.098 Ω cm^2,which is only around 22.8% of Bi_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)FeO_(3-δ)(BSF).A full cell utilizing BSSF25 displays an exceptional output density of 790 mW cm^(-2),which can operate continuously over100 h without obvious degradation.The remarkable electrochemical performance observed can be attributed to the improved O_(2) transport kinetics,superior surface oxygen adsorption capacity,as well as O_(2)p band centers in close proximity to the Fermi level.Moreover,larger average bonding energy(ABE) and the presence of highly acidic Bi,Sm,and Fe ions restrict the adsorption of CO_(2) on the cathode surface,resulting in excellent CO_(2) resistivity.This work provides valuable guidance for systematic design of efficient and durable catalysts for LT-SOFCs. | Juntao Gao Zhiyun Wei Mengke Yuan Zhe Wang Zhe Lü Qiang Li Lingling Xu Bo Wei | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,90,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Construction of [Cu_nI_n]-based coordination polymers via flexible benzimidazolyl-based ligands显示文摘Four new [CunIn]-based coordination polymers, [{Cu4(μ3-I)4(mbbm)2}·2DMF]n (1), [(CuI)2(mbbm)2]n (2), [{Cu2(μ-I)2-(ebbm)2}·2MeCN]n (3), and [Cu2(μ-I)2(prbbm)2]n (4), were prepared from solvothermal reactions of CuI with three flexible ligands [(bzim)(CH2)n(bzim)] (bzim = benzimidazole; n = 1, mbbm; n = 2, ebbm; n = 3, prbbm). These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray crystallography. 1 consists of cubanelike [Cu4(μ3-I)4] fragments that link the neighboring ones via mbbm bridges to form a 1D ladder-type chain. 2 contains mononuclear [CuI] fragments that are bridged by mbbm ligands to yield a 1D zigzag chain. 3 or 4 contains a [Cu2(μ-I)2] dimeric fragment, which works as a four-connecting node to link its four equivalent ones to form a 2D (4,4) network (3) or acts as a two-connecting node to connect its two equivalent ones via two pairs of prbbm bridges to form a 1D double chain (4).
