1Stress-Induced Martensitic Transformation of Zr_(50)Cu_(25)Ni_(10)Co_(15) Nanocrystals Embedded in an Amorphous Matrix显示文摘The stress induced martensitic phase transformation of spherical ZrCu nanocrystals embedded in an amorphous matrix was studied in this paper. Microstructural observations revealed that the martensitic transformation of the nanocrystal was hindered by the surrounding amorphous coating. The existence of two-step transformation from the austenite phase(B2) to the base structure martensite(B19') and finally to the most stable superstructure martensite(Cm) was also demonstrated. 2THE TYPE II DEFECT IN 18R MARTENSITE IN A Cu-Zn-Al ALLOY显示文摘Type H defect in 18R martensite in a Cu-Zn-Al alloy has been studied by high resolution electron microscopy. It was found that Type H defect is not fault internal to martensite plate; rather,it is a stack of plates A and C. 3PHASE TRANSFORMATION BEHAVIOR AND MICROSTRUCTURE OBSERVATION OF Nb-Ru HIGH TEMPERATURE SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY显示文摘The phase transformation behavior and microstructure of Nb-Ru alloys have been studied by DSC, X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM). Two-step phase transformation of CsCl (β)→face-centered tetragonal (β')→monoclinic (β') occurs during cooling from high temperature to room temperature. The lattice parameters of martensites of Nb-Ru alloys were found to increase with the increase of Nb content. The martensite variants exhibit triangular self-accommodating morphology, with alternating regular bands inside.
