| 7 | Novel Method to Determine the Image Segmentation Threshold during the Quantitative Test on Meso-structure of Geo-material显示文摘As a kind of special material in geotechnical engineering, the mudded weak interlayer plays a crucial part in slope stability. In this paper, we presented a method to determine the threshold value of section micrographs of the mudded weak interlayer in slope during its meso-structure qualification process. Some soil tests, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and image segmentation technology were performed to fulfill our purpose. Specifically, the relation between 3 D-porosity and the threshold was obtained by least square fitting of the threshold-porosity curves and a simplified pore equivalent model. Using this relation and the 3 D-porosity determined by soil experiments, we can figure out the polynomial equation of the threshold value. | 11 | Paleogene-Neogene stratigraphic realm and tectonic-sedimentary evolution of the Qilian Mountains and their surrounding areas显示文摘The Cenozoic uplift of Qilian Mountains is critical to comprehend the uplift and extension of the Tibet Plateau as well as the formation of the first and second steps in China's topography. This study summarized dynamic stratigraphic realm comprehensively on the basis of stratigraphic correlation of different Cenozoic sedimentary basin regions of the Qilian Mountains and adjacent mountains. This facilitated the re-creation of the tectonic-sedimentary evolutionary process of the Qilian Mountains and their surrounding areas. The results indicate that during the Early Paleogene(Paleocene-Eocene), the Qilian Mountains were part of an uplift realm. During the Oligocene, Guide-Xining-Lanzhou-Linxia sag basin at the northern margin of the West Qinling Mountains came into being and was subjected to sedimentation. The Suli Basin located between the North and South Qilian paleo-uplifts began to form and undergo sedimentation. Intracontinental orogenic extrusion and basin detachment occurred at the Qilian Mountains during the Miocene, which caused successive uplifts of various mountains, including the Laji, South Qinghai,Jishi, Liupan, and South Shule Mountains. | 19 | Oxidized Dopamine Acrylamide Primer to Achieve Durable Resin-Dentin Bonding显示文摘The durability of the resin-dentin bonding interface is a key issue in clinical esthetic dentistry.Inspired by the extraordinary bioadhesive properties of marine mussels in a wet environment,we designed and synthetized N-2-(3,4-dihydroxylphenyl)acrylamide(DAA)according to the functional domain of mussel adhesive proteins.DAA’s properties of collagen cross-linking,collagenase inhibition,inducing collagen mineralization in vitro,and as a novel prime monomer for clinical dentin adhesion use,its optimal parameters,and effect on the adhesive longevity and the bonding interface’s integrity and mineralization,were evaluated in vitro and in vivo.The results showed that oxide DAA can inhibit the activity of collagenase and cross collagen fibers to improve the anti-enzymatic hydrolysis of collagen fibers and induce intrafibrillar and interfibrillar collagen mineralization.As a primer used in the etch-rinse tooth adhesive system,oxide DAA can improve the durability and integrity of the bonding interface by anti-degradation and mineralization of the exposed collagen matrix.Oxidized DAA(OX-DAA)is a promising primer for improving dentin durability;using 5%OX-DAA ethanol solution and treating the etched dentin surface for 30 s is the optimal choice when used as a primer in the etch-rinse tooth adhesive system. | Leping Wu Hui Shao Yang Tao Jingya Wu Xinhui Wang Qiufeng Nian Shunli Zheng Chris Ying Cao Yuancong Zhao Zheng Zhou Hai Ming Wong Quan-Li Li | 2023 | Research2023,,4: | 0 |
