1Virtual experimentation through 3D full-loop simulation of a circulating fluidized bed显示文摘Eulerian granular multiphase model with a drag coefficient correction based on the energy-minimization multi-scale (EMMS) model was used to simulate a semi-industry scale circulating fluidized bed (CFB). Three-dimensional (3D), time-dependent simulation of a full-loop CFB revealed that the axial profiles of cross-sectionally averaged solid volume fraction, and the radial profiles of solid axial velocity and solid volume fraction were in reasonable agreement with experimental data. Based on this agreement, database derived from experiments not yet accomplished was replenished with such simulations, and fluid regime diagrams and pressure balance around the CFB loop were derived accordingly. This work presents an integrated viewpoint on CFB and unfolds a fresh paradigm for CFB modeling, which can be expected to help resolve certain issues long in dispute but hard for experiments.Nan Zhang Bona Lu Wei Wang Jinghai Li 2008Particuology2008,6,6:23
2Synthesis of chain-like MoS_2 nanoparticles in W/O reverse microemulsion and application in photocatalysis显示文摘Chain-like MoS2assemblies consisting of hexagonal MoS2nanoparticles(20-60 nm) have been successfully synthesized in a Triton X-100/cyclohexane/hexanol/water W/O reverse microemulsion in the presence of(NH 4)2MoS 4 as the molybdenum source and NH2OH·HCl as the reducing agent.The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and UV-vis diffuse reflectance absorption spectra.The influence of synthetic parameters such as acidity,water/oil ratio(0),aging time and annealing temperature on the formation of MoS2assemblies was investigated.TEM analysis showed that these synthetic factors played important roles in controlling the size of MoS2nanoparticles and the length of the chain-like MoS2assemblies.XRD analysis indicated that the well-crystallized MoS2nanoparticles could be obtained by annealing the precursors at 700 C for2h under a flow of N2atmosphere.In addition,the as-prepared chain-like MoS2nanoparticles exhibited excellent photocatalytic H2activity in Ru(bpy) 3 2+-MoS2-H2A three-component molecular systems under visible light irradiation.LIU MeiYing LI XiaoQian XU ZhiLing LI BoNa CHEN LinLin SHAN NanNan 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,30:6
3Extending EMMS-based models to CFB boiler applications显示文摘Recently,EMMS-based models are being widely applied in simulations of high-throughput circulating fluidized beds(CFBs) with fine particles.Its use for low flux systems,such as CFB boiler(CFBB),still remains unexplored.In this work,it has been found that the original definition of cluster diameter in EMMS model is unsuitable for simulations of the CFB boiler with low solids flux.To remedy this,we propose a new model of cluster diameter.The EMMS-based drag model(EMMS/matrix model) with this revised cluster definition is validated through the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation of a CFB boiler.Bona Lu Nan Zhang Wei Wang Jinghai Li 2012Particuology2012,10,6:4
