1Paleoproterozoic reworking of ancient crust in the Cathaysia Block,South China:Evidence from zircon trace elements,U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotopes显示文摘A combined study of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating, trace elements and Hf isotope was carried out for gneissic granite from the Sanzhishu area in Jingning, SW Zhejiang Province. Nearly all the zircons separated from the granite exhibited oscillatory zoning and high Th/U ratios (>0.1). The REE profile showed a pronounced positive Ce anomaly, negative Eu anomaly and an enrichment of HREE, which are typical characteristics of magmatic zircon. Thirteen concordant or nearly concordant analytical data yielded a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 1860±13 Ma (MSWD=0.084), representing the formation age of the granite. The magmatic zircons had negative εHf(t) values of -15.6 to -10.0 and two-stage Hf model ages of 3.1 to 3.4 Ga, indicating that the granites were formed by reworking of ancient crust. The major- and trace-element data indicate that the gneissic granites are metaluminous high-K calc-alkaline rocks and exhibit the same geochemical characteristics as aluminous A-type granites, implying the emplacement of the granite in a post-orogenic extensional tectonic setting. 2Caledonian reworking of Paleoproterozoic basement in the Cathaysia Block: Constraints from zircon U-Pb dating, Hf isotopes and trace elements显示文摘A combined study of zircon U-Pb dating, Hf isotopes and trace elements has been carried out for granodioritic neosomes of migmatites from the Tianjingping area in northwestern Fujian Province. Zircons are characterized by zoning, higher Th/U ratios (mostly ≥0.1), HREE enrichment, and positive Ce and negative Eu anomalies, and show features similar to magmatic or anatectic zircons. Apparent 206Pb/238U ages for the zircons are 447±2 Ma (95% conf., MSWD = 0.88), corresponding to a Caledonian event. εHf(t) values are ?13.3 to ?9.7, indicating a crustal source. Two-stage Hf model ages are 1.7 to 1.9 Ga, suggesting that protolith of the migmates was probably formed in the Paleoproterozoic. The granodioritic neosomes have the characteristics of peraluminous calc-alkaline granite, and their REE patterns and trace elements spidergrams show features of middle to upper crustal rocks. Together with previous studies, we conclude that the protolith of the Cathaysia basement in the Tianjingping area was likely formed in the middle-late Paleoproterozoic and experienced partial melting during the Caledonian period. 3INTERFACIAL ADHESION AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF PMMA-COATED CaCO_(3)NANOPARTICLE REINFORCED PVC COMPOSITES显示文摘Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)-coated nano-CaCO3 particles were prepared by in-situ emulsion po- lymerization. The mechanical properties of nano-CaCO3 particles-reinforced PVC were investigated using an AG-2000A universal testing machine and an XJU-2.75 izod impact tester; interfacial adhesion between CaCO3 nanoparticles and PVC matrix by SEM, and structure of PMMA coated on the surface of CaCO3 by FTIR and H-NMR. The results indicate 1 that the PMMA coated on the nano CaCO3 particles consists mainly of syndiotactic structure, and their three tacticity contents were rr 52.8%, mm 7.3% and mr 39.9%, respectively. The interfacial adhesion between CaCO3 nanoparticles and PVC matrix was significantly improved when the CaCO3 nanoparticles were coated with PMMA, which led to in- creased Young’s moduli and tensile strengths of the PMMA-coated CaCO3/PVC composites. 4A Cost-Effective Co-precipitation Method for Synthesizing Indium Tin Oxide Nanoparticles without Chlorine Contamination显示文摘Indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles with crystallite size of 12.6 nm and specific surface area of 45.7 m 2 ·g-1 were synthesized by co-precipitation method.The indium solution was obtained by dissolving metal indium in HNO3.The tin solution was obtained by dissolving metal tin in HNO3 and followed by stabilizing with citric acid.The free of chlorine ions in the synthesis process brought several advantages:shortening the synthesis time,decreasing the particle agglomeration,decreasing the chlorine content in the ITO nanoparticles and improving the particle sinterability.This is the first time to report the synthesis of ITO nanoparticles free from chlorine contamination without using the expensive metal alkoxides as starting materials.Haiwen Wang Xiujuan Xu Jianrong Zhang Chunzhong Li 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,11:8

6A sol-gel method to synthesize indium tin oxide nanoparticles显示文摘Transparent conductive indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles were synthesized by a novel sol-gel method. Granulated indium and tin were dissolved in HNO3 and partially complexed with citric acid. A sol-gel process was induced when tertiary butyl alcohol was added dropwise to the above solution. ITO nanoparticles with an average crystallite size of 18.5 nm and surface area of 32.6 m2 /g were obtained after the gel was heat-treated at 700 C. 7Preparation of hollow alumina nanospheres via surfactant-assisted flame spray pyrolysis显示文摘Hollow Al2O3 nanospheres with well-defined structure and shape were successfully prepared via flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) in the presence of a surfactant as droplet stabilizer. The morphology and structure of the nanospheres were systematically characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and N 2 sorption. A solution of hydrated aluminum nitrate, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and absolute ethanol was sprayed into a flame to transform droplets into particles after evaporation and surface nucleation, forming hollow Al2O3 nanospheres from aluminum nitrate decomposition. 8In situ synthesis of CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite by fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition and the synergistic effect in photocatalysis显示文摘Carbon nanotube(CNTs)/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite photocatalysts have been synthesized by an in situ fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition(FBCVD) method.The composite photocatalysts were characterized by XRD,Raman spectroscopy,BET,FESEM,TEM,UV-vis spectroscopy,and XPS.The results showed that the CNTs were grown in situ on the surface of TiO_2.Fe(lll) in TiO_2 showed no chemical changes in the growth of CNTs.Ni(Ⅱ) was partly reduced to metal Ni in the FBCVD process,and the metal Ni acted as a catalyst for the growth of CNTs.The photocatalytic activities of CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 decreased with the rise of the FBCVD reaction temperature.For the sample synthesized at low FBCVD temperature(500℃),more than 90% and nearly 50% of methylene blue were removed under UV irradiation in 180 min and under visible light irradiation in 300 min,respectively.The probable mechanism of synergistic enhancement of photocatalysis on the CNTs/Fe-Ni/TiO_2 nanocomposite is proposed.Lei Ma Aiping Chen Jindong Lu Zhe Zhang Hongbo He Chunzhong Li 2014Particuology2014,12,3:5
9Metallic iron nanoparticles:Flame synthesis,characterization and magnetic properties显示文摘Metallic iron(Fe) nanoparticles(NPs) with a typical core-shell structure have been prepared by a simple and continuous flame spray pyrolysis(FSP) method,which are stabilized by the corresponding Fe_3O_4 shell with a thickness of 4-6 nm.The size of metallic Fe cores is about 30-80 nm.The core-shell structured iron NPs show an air stability as long as one month as a result of the protection of oxide shell.Through the control of the residence time of materials in flame and flame atmosphere,metallic Fe and iron oxides are obtained,showing a better external magnetic field responsibility.It is concluded that the evolution of morphology and composition of flame-made magnetic NPs could be attributed to the competition mechanism between reduction and oxidation reactions of in situ flame combustion,which offers more choices and better effective design strategy for the synthesis of advanced functional materials via FSP techniques.Yunfeng Li Yanjie Hu Guangjian Huang Chunzhong Li 2013Particuology2013,11,4:4

11Comparative Study on Optical Properties and Scratch Resistance of Nanocomposite Coatings Incorporated with Flame Spray Pyrolyzed Silica Modified via in-situ Route and ex-situ Route显示文摘A new type of transparent scratch resistant coatings including in-situ modified SiO_2(g-SiO_2) in flame spray pyrolysis(FSP) process was prepared. The maximum content of g-SiO_2 in the coating was 15 wt%, which is higher than that of SiO_2 modified by traditional wet chemical route(l-SiO_2, only 10 wt%). The results of transmission electron microscopy have demonstrated that in-situ surface modified g-SiO_2 particles dispersed well with smaller agglomerates in the final coating, which was much better than the particles modified via wet chemical route. Visible light transmittance and haze tests were introduced to characterize the optical quality of the films. All coatings were highly transparent with the visible light transmittance of above 80%, especially for coatings containing g-SiO_2, which exhibited slightly higher visible light transmittance than l-SiO_2 embedded one. The haze value of coatings incorporated with 15wt% g-SiO_2 was 1.85%, even lower than the coating with 5 wt% l-SiO_2(haze value of 2.09%), indicating much better clarity of g-SiO_2. The excellent optical property of g-SiO_2 filled coatings was attributed to the good dispersion and distribution of particles. Nano-indention and nano-scratch tests were conducted to investigate the scratch resistance of coatings on nano-scale. The surface hardness of the coatings rose by 18% and 14%, and the average friction coefficient decreased by 15% and 11%, respectively, compared to the neat coat due to the addition of 10 wt% g-SiO_2 and l-SiO_2. The pencil hardness of the coating with 15 wt% g-SiO_2 increased from 2B for the neat coating to 2H. However, the pencil hardness of coating with 10 wt% l-SiO_2 was only H. 12Surface-engineering of layered LiNi_(0.815)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.035)O_2 cathode material for high-energy and stable Li-ion batteries显示文摘Surface engineering is an effective strategy to restrain the generation of rocksalt NiO phase on surface of layered LiNi_(0.815)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.035)O_2(NCA) primary nanoparticles, a representative Ni-rich layered oxides cathode materials. Herein, we demonstrate the kilogram-scale synthesis of few-layer reduced graphene oxide(rGO) conformably coated NCA primary nanoparticles cathode materials by a mechanical wet ball-milling strategy. The lightening rGO coating layer effectively avoids the direct contact of electrolyte and NCA with rapid electrons transfer. As a result, the as-obtained NCA@rGO hybrids with only 1.0 wt% rGO content can deliver a high specific capacity(196 mAh g^(-1) at 0.2 C) and fast charge/discharge capability(127 mAh g^(-1) at 5 C), which is much higher than the corresponding NCA nanoparticles(95 mAh g^(-1) at 5 C). Even after100 cycles at 1 C, 91.7% of initial reversible capacity is still maintained. 14Preparation and Corrosion Resistance of Anodic Oxidation Coatings on 2198 and 5A90 Al-Li Alloys显示文摘2198 and 5A90 Al-Li alloys were anodized with a constant DC potential in 18%H_2SO_4solution(Solu.A) and the mixture solution of 18%H_2SO_4+5%C_2H_2O_4(Solu.B) at room temperature. 12 and 11 V was optimized as the applied oxidation potential for 2198 and 5A90 alloys, respectively. Cross-sectional morphology, surface morphology and elements distribution of anodic oxidation coatings were observed by scanning electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive X-ray analysis(SEM/EDX). Corrosion resistance was tested by potentiodynamic polarization plot in 3.5%NaCl solution. The results showed that the thicknesses of coatings obtained at the selected potential in Solu.A and Solu.B were about 50 μm/110 μm for 2198 alloy and 80 μm/110 μm for 5A90 alloy. In both solutions, anodic oxidation coatings of 2198 alloy were primarily composed of Al oxides; those of 5A90 alloy were mainly consisted of Al oxides and a small amount of Mg oxides. 15Nitrogen-doped carbon stabilized Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4/rGO cathode materials for high-power Li-ion batteries显示文摘Exploring high ion/electron conductive olivine-type transition metal phosphates is of vital significance to broaden their applicability in rapid-charging devices.Herein,we report an interface engineered Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4/rGO@C cathode material by the synergistic effects of r GO and polydopamine-derived N-doped carbon.The well-distributed Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4nanoparticles are tightly anchored on r GO nanosheet benefited by the coating of N-doped carbon layer.The design of such an architecture can effectively suppress the agglomeration of nanoparticles with a shortened Li+transfer path.Meantime,the high-speed conducting network has been constructed by r GO and N-doped carbon,which exhibits the face-to-face contact with Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4nanoparticles,guaranteeing the rapid electron transfer.These profits endow the Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4/rGO@C hybrids with a fast charge-discharge ability,e.g.a high reversible capacity of 105 m Ah·g^-1at 10 C,much higher than that of the Li Fe0.5Mn0.5PO4@C nanoparticles(46 mA·h·g^-1).Furthermore,a 90.8%capacity retention can be obtained even after cycling 500 times at 2 C.This work gives a new avenue to fabricate transition metal phosphate with superior electrochemical performance for high-power Li-ion batteries.Haifeng Yu Zhaofeng Yang Huawei Zhu Hao Jiang Chunzhong Li 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,7:3
16Large-scale synthesis of hollow titania spheres via flame combustion显示文摘A one-step method for continuous large-scale synthesis of well-defined hollow titania spheres was established by feeding titanium tetrachloride mixed with ethanol vapor to a facile diffusion fiame. A mixture of TiCl4 and C2H5OH vapor was transported at 100 m/s into a fiame reactor and condensed into mesoscale droplets due to Joule-Thomson cooling and the entrainment of cool gases into the expanding high-speed jet. Hollow crystalline TiO2 spheres with good thermal stability were formed after the hydrolysis of TiCl4 in the H2/air fiame at about 1500 fiC. Structural characterization indicates that the hollow spheres, with uniform diameter of 300 nm and shell thickness of 35 nm, consist of 20-30 nm TiO2 nanocrystallites. A formation mechanism of the hollow spheres was proposed, involving the competition between chemical reaction and diffusion during the fiame process. 17NOVEL SYNTHESIS OF ULTRAFINE HOURGLASS-SHAPED ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE PARTICLES显示文摘In a novel method for synthesizing ultrafine aluminum hydroxide particles presented in this paper, the morphology and crystal structure of the particles were investigated by TEM, XRD, etc. The process consisted of two steps: chemical precipitation by acid and carbonation. The product has an hourglass or half-hourglass morphology with a narrow size distribution of 150-200 nm. Major endothermal peak of decomposition was found at 270°C by differential thermal analysis. X-ray diffraction identified the product as bayerite.
