2On theory and methods for advanced detonation-driven hypervelocity shock tunnels显示文摘This study describes theory and methods for developing detonation-driven shock tunnels in hypervelocity test facilities.The primary concept and equations for high-enthalpy shock tunnels are presented first to demonstrate the unique advantage of shock tubes for aerodynamic ground-based testing.Then,the difficulties in simulating flight conditions in hypervelocity shock tunnels are identified,and discussed in detail to address critical issues underlying these difficulties.Theory and methods for developing detonation drivers are proposed,and relevant progress that has advanced the state of the art in large-scale hypersonic test facilities is presented with experimental verifications.Finally,tailored conditions for detonation-driven shock tunnels are described,laying a solid foundation to achieve long test duration.This interface-matching key issue encountered in developing shock tunnels has been investigated for decades,but not solved for detonation drivers in engineering applications.Zonglin Jiang Jinping Li Zongmin Hu Yunfeng Liu Hongru Yu 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:6
3A review of rockburst:Experiments,theories,and simulations显示文摘Rockburst is becoming a huge challenge for the utilization of deep underground space.Extensive efforts have been devoted to investigating the rockburst behavior and mechanism experimentally,theoretically,and numerically.The aim of this review is to discuss the novel development and the state-of-the-art in experimental techniques,theories,and numerical approaches proposed for rockburst.The definition and classification of rockburst are first summarized with an in-depth comparison among them.Then,the available laboratory experimental technologies for rockburst are reviewed in terms of indirect and direct approaches,with the highlight of monitoring technologies and data analysis methods.Some key rockburst influencing factors(i.e.size and shape,rock types,stress state,water content,and temperature)are analyzed and discussed based on collected data.After that,rockburst theories and mechanisms are discussed and evaluated,as well as the microscopic observation.The simulation approaches of rockburst are also summarized with the highlight of optional novel numerical methods.The accuracy,stability,and reliability of different experimental,theoretical and numerical approaches are also compared and assessed in each part.Finally,a summary and some aspects of prospective research are presented.Manchao He Tai Cheng Yafei Qiao Hongru Li 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,5:6
4Spatial Effect of Mineral Resources Exploitation on Urbanization:A Case Study of Tarim River Basin,Xinjiang,China显示文摘Mineral resources exploitation significantly affects the spatial structure and evolutive trend of urbanization in arid areas.In this study,the spatial autocorrelation method and the spatial computation model were used to investigate the spatial impacts of mineral resources excavation and processing on comprehensive level of urbanization in the Tarim River Basin,Xinjiang,China for the years of 2000,2006 and 2008.The results are as follows:1)There was a spatial correlation of the development of mineral resources industry and the comprehensive level of urbanization in 2006 and 2008,with the spatial concentration trend rising significantly in 2006 and decreasing in 2008.2)The patterns of local spatial concentration of mineral resources industry and of the comprehensive level of urbanization were relatively stable,and the two patterns showed signs of spatial correlationship.The higher was the degree of the concentration of mineral resources industry,the stronger was its impact on the spatial clustering of urbanization.3)In 2000, mineral resources excavation and processing had a significant positive impact on the comprehensive level of urbanization in the region but not in its adjacent regions.However,in 2008,mineral resources excavation and processing significantly raised the comprehensive level of urbanization not only in the region but also in its neighboring regions.This research demonstrates that the development of mineral resources industry can strongly affect the trends and spatial patterns of urbanization.LI Xuemei ZHANG Xiaolei DU Hongru CHU Shaolin 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,5:5
54-Formyl-2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-phenol: an ESIPT chromophore显示文摘In the present work, excited state intramolecular proton transfer(ESIPT) emission properties of a new benzotriazole derivative 4-formyl-2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-phenol(C1) were studied. 4-Formyl-2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-methoxy-benzene(C2), 4-formyl-2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-phenyl acetate(C3) and 4-methyl-2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-phenol(C4) were used as the reference molecules.1H NMR chemical shift of hydroxy group in C1 was located at more down field than that of C4 or p-hydroxy-benzaldehyde(C5), respectively. C1 showed two absorption bands in the range of 260–400 nm zones in various solvents, while C2 and C3 exhibited single absorption band. The equal molar mixtures of C2/C5 or C3/C5 showed single absorption band.C2 and C3 displayed single fluorescence emission band in various solvents, while C1 exhibited dual emission bands in some strong polar solvents. Furthermore, the second emission band in these strong polar solvents showed the large Stokes shift. The results show that the second emission band of C1 was produced by ESIPT. C2 and C3 could not undergo ESIPT due to no hydroxy group. 6LIN28 coordinately promotes nucleolar/ribosomal functions and represses the 2C-like transcriptional program in pluripotent stem cells显示文摘LIN28 is an RNA binding protein with important roles in early embryo development,stem cell differentiation/re-programming,tumorigenesis and metabolism.Previous studies have focused mainly on its role in the cytosol where it interacts with Let-7 microRNA precursors or mRNAs,and few have addressed LIN28's role within the nucleus.Here,we show that LIN28 displays dynamic temporal and spatial expression during murine embryo development.Maternal LIN28 expression drops upon exit from the 2-cell stage,and zygotic LIN28 protein is induced at the forming nucleolus during 4-cell to blas-tocyst stage development,to become dominantly expressed in the cytosol after implantation.In cultured pluripotent stem cells(PSCs),loss of LIN28 led to nucleolar stress and activation of a 2-cell/4-cell-like transcriptional program characterized by the expression of endogenous retrovirus genes.Mechanistically,LIN28 binds to small nucleolar RNAs and rRNA to maintain nucleolar integrity,and its loss leads to nucleolar phase separation defects,ribosomal stress and activation of P53 which in turn binds to and activates 2C transcription factor Dux.LIN28 also resides in a complex containing the nucleolar factor Nucleolin(NCL)and the transcrip-tional repressor TRIM28,and LIN28 loss leads to reduced occupancy of the NCL/TRIM28 complex on the Dux and rDNA loci,and thus de-repressed Dux and reduced rRNA expression.Lin28 knockout cells with nucleolar stress are more likely to assume a slowly cycling,translationally inert and anabolically inactive state,which is a part of previously unappreciated 2C-like transcriptional program.These findings elucidate novel roles for nucleolar LIN28 in PSCs,and a new mechanism linking 2C program and nucleolar functions in PSCs and early embryo development.Zhen Sun Hua Yu Jing Zhao Tianyu Tan Hongru Pan Yuqing Zhu Lang Chen Cheng Zhang Li Zhang Anhua Lei Yuyan Xu Xianju Bi Xin Huang Bo Gao Longfei Wang Cristina Correia Ming Chen Qiming Sun Yu Feng Li Shen Hao Wu Jianlong Wang Xiaohua Shen George Q.Daley Hu Li Jin Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,7:4

8Expression of Livin in tissues of lung cancer and its correlation with the expression of caspase-3显示文摘Objective: To study the expressions of two isoforms of Livin in tissues of lung cancer and their relations to histological types and chemotherapy, and to study their correlations to the expression of caspase-3 as well. Methods: Ex-pressions of Livin isoforms α, β and caspase-3 were detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay in lung cancer tissues as well as in controls. Results: Livin isoforms α and β were expressed in 12 of 27, and 19 of 27 lung cancer tissues respectively, much more than those in lung para-cancerous [both were (0/6)] or benign disease lung tissues (0/12, 1/12; P < 0.01 and P < 0.01). Moreover, they were detected in 7/14, 9 /14 lung adenocarcinomas and 4/12, 9/12 squamocellular and large cell carcinomas, respectively, and both showed expressions in one small cell carcinoma. The levels of these two isoforms in lung cancer were significantly higher than those in controls by Gel imaging system (P < 0.05 and P < 0.05), the former was higher in adenocarcinoma than that in squamocellular carcinoma (P < 0.05), while the latter was the same in both (P > 0.05). Meanwhile, the levels of caspase-3 in lung cancer were significantly lower than those in controls, and it was suggested to be negatively associated with either each of two isoforms or their sum (P < 0.05, P < 0.01 and P < 0.01). Two isoforms of Livin expression seemed to increase after chemotherapy but not related to clinical stages (P > 0.05). 10TRIM47 is a novel endothelial activation factor that aggravates lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury in mice via K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2显示文摘Endothelial activation plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of sepsis-induced acute lung injury,however,the detailed regulatory mechanisms remain largely unknown.Here,we reported that TRIM47,an E3 ubiquitin ligase of the tripartite motifcontaining protein family,was highly expressed in vascular endothelial cells.TRIM47-deficient mice were effectively resistant to lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced acute lung injury and death by attenuating pulmonary inflammation.TRIM47 was upregulated during TNFα-induced endothelial activation in vitro.Knockdown of TRIM47 in endothelial cells inhibited the transcription of multiple pro-inflammatory cytokines,reduced monocyte adhesion and the expression of adhesion molecules,and suppressed the secretion of IL-1βand IL-6 in endothelial cells.By contrast,overexpression of TRIM47 promoted inflammatory response and monocyte adhesion upon TNFαstimulation.In addition,TRIM47 was able to activate the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways during endothelial activation.Furthermore,our experiments revealed that TRIM47 resulted in endothelial activation by promoting the K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2,a key component of the TNFαsignaling pathway.Taken together,our studies demonstrated that TRIM47 as a novel activator of endothelial cells,promoted LPS-induced pulmonary inflammation and acute lung injury through potentiating the K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2,which in turn activates NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways to trigger an inflammatory response in endothelial cells.Yisong Qian Ziwei Wang Hongru Lin Tianhua Lei Zhou Zhou Weilu Huang Xuehan Wu Li Zuo Jie Wu Yu Liu Ling-Fang Wang Xiao-Hui Guan Ke-Yu Deng Mingui Fu Hong-Bo Xin 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,6:2
11A Novel MDFA-MKECA Method With Application to Industrial Batch Process Monitoring显示文摘For the complex batch process with characteristics of unequal batch data length,a novel data-driven batch process monitoring method is proposed based on mixed data features analysis and multi-way kernel entropy component analysis(MDFA-MKECA)in this paper.Combining the mechanistic knowledge,different mixed data features of each batch including statistical and thermodynamics entropy features,are extracted to finish data pre-processing.After that,MKECA is applied to reduce data dimensionality and finally establish a monitoring model.The proposed method is applied to a reheating furnace industry process,and the experimental results demonstrate that the MDFA-MKECA method can reduce the calculated amount and effectively provide on-line monitoring of the batch process.Yinghua Yang Xiang Shi Xiaozhi Liu Hongru Li 2020IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,5:2

13A potent PGK1 antagonist reveals PGK1 regulates the production of IL-1βand IL-6显示文摘Glycolytic metabolism enzymes have been implicated in the immunometabolism field through changes in metabolic status. PGK1 is a catalytic enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. Here, we set up a high-throughput screen platform to identify PGK1 inhibitors. DC-PGKI is an ATPcompetitive inhibitor of PGK1 with an affinity of Kd= 99.08 nmol/L. DC-PGKI stabilizes PGK1in vitro and in vivo, and suppresses both glycolytic activity and the kinase function of PGK1. In addition,DC-PGKI unveils that PGK1 regulates production of IL-1β and IL-6 in LPS-stimulated macrophages.Mechanistically, inhibition of PGK1 with DC-PGKI results in NRF2(nuclear factor-erythroid factor 2-related factor 2, NFE2L2) accumulation, then NRF2 translocates to the nucleus and binds to the proximity region of Il-1β and Il-6 genes, and inhibits LPS-induced expression of these genes. DC-PGKI ameliorates colitis in the dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis mouse model. 19Intracellular pH-responsive iron-catechin nanoparticles with osteogenic/anti-adipogenic and immunomodulatory effects for efficient bone repair显示文摘Osteoimmunomodulation was identified as a new and important strategy to enhance osteogenic differentiation together with other osteogenic approaches.However,approaches regulating osteogenic differentiation and macrophage polarization to remodel an osteoinductive microenvironment are separate and complicated.Therefore,the design and synthesis of one biomaterial that couples the osteogenic performance and immunomodulatory ability is a major challenge for efficient bone repair.In this study,self-assembled iron-catechin nanoparticles(Fe-cat NPs)were designed based on the coordinated reaction between iron ions and catechin and synthesized via a facile one-pot strategy.Interestingly,Fe-cat NPs show intracellular pH-responsive disassembly and release catechin molecules under the low pH of lysosomes after endocytosis.This strategy delivers catechin intracellularly and then enhances the osteogenic differentiation while inhibits the adipogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells(hADSCs).More importantly,Fe-cat NPs remodel the osteogenic immune microenvironment by resisting inflammation and promoting M2 polarization of macrophages.As a promising metal-organic nanodrug,the intracellular pH-responsive Fe-cat NPs significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of bone regneration by orchestrating osteogenic differentiation and immunomodulation,which may have great potential in bone tissue engineering.Ying Kong Feng Liu Baojin Ma Wenhan Wang Liang Li Xiaoying Xu Zhaoyang Sun Hongru Yang Yuanhua Sang Dong Li Gang Li Chao Liu Shuhua Wang Hong Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1
