| 1 | Influencing factors of the dynamic hysteresis in varying compliance vibrations of a ball bearing显示文摘We focus on the hysteretic characteristics of the varying compliance(VC) principal resonance in a ball bearing. The branches of the periodic VC response are traced by the harmonic balance method and the alternating frequency/time domain technique(HB-AFT) embedding Arc-length continuation, and the stability of these solutions is investigated by using Floquet theory. We find that the resonant response displays a swallow-tail structure due to the coupling nonlinearities between the Hertzian contact and the bearing clearance, which differs from the soft hysteresis of the non-loss Hertzian contact resonances. Furthermore, we find that period-1 VC branch cannot completely characterize the response of the system for a large bearing clearance, because multiple instability regions may occur from the cyclic fold, the secondary Hopf bifurcations, supercritical and subcritical period doubling bifurcations, in which case co-existences of period-1, period-2, and even quasi-periodic VC motions emerge in the hysteretic resonant range. | ZHANG ZhiYong CHEN YuShu LI ZhongGang | 2015 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,5: | 10 |
| 2 | Prediction of forming limit curve(FLC) for Al–Li alloy 2198-T3 sheet using diferent yield functions显示文摘The Forming Limit Curve(FLC) of the third generation aluminum–lithium(Al–Li) alloy2198-T3 is measured by conducting a hemispherical dome test with specimens of different widths.The theoretical prediction of the FLC of 2198-T3 is based on the M–K theory utilizing respectively the von Mises,Hill'48,Hosford and Barlat 89 yield functions,and the different predicted curves due to different yield functions are compared with the experimentally measured FLC of 2198-T3.The results show that though there are differences among the four predicted curves,yet they all agree well with the experimentally measured curve.In the area near the planar strain state,the predicted curves and experimentally measured curve are very close.The predicted curve based on the Hosford yield function is more accurate under the tension–compression strain states described in the left part of the FLC,while the accuracy is better for the predicted curve based on Hill'48 yield function under the tension–tension strain states shown in the right part. | Li Xiaoqiang Song Nan Guo Guiqiang Sun Zhonggang | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5: | 7 |
| 3 | Finite Control Set Model Predictive Torque Control Using Sliding Model Control for Induction Motors显示文摘Finite control set model predictive torque control(FCS-MPTC)has become increasingly prevalent for induction motors(IM)owing to its simple concept,easy incorporation of constraints and strong flexibility.In traditional FCS-MPTC speed controller design,a classical proportional integral(PI)controller is typically chosen to generate the torque reference.However,the PI controller is dependent on system parameters and sensitive to the load torque variation,which seriously affects control performance.In this paper,a model predictive torque control using sliding mode control(MPTC+SMC)for IM is proposed to enhance the robust performance of the drive system.First,the influence of the parameter mismatches for FCS-MPTC is analyzed.Second,the shortcomings of traditional PI controller are derived.Then,the proposed MPTC+SMC method is designed,and the MPTC+PI and MPTC+SMC are compared theoretically.Finally,experimental results demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed MPTC+SMC.In comparison with MPTC+PI,MPTC+SMC has the better dynamic performance and stronger robust performance against parameter variations and load disturbance. | Yanqing Zhang Zhonggang Yin Wei Li Jing Liu Yanping Xu | 2021 | CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2021,5,3: | 2 |
| 4 | The Effect of Water Spray upon Incineration Flue Gas Clean-up显示文摘The existence of liquid water was found very important in incineration flue gas clean-up systems for enhancing the absorption of acid components contained. In a newly developed incineration flue gas clean-up tower, which works in a semi-dry mode, the water is injected in the form of spray to maximum its contact surface with the gas. The criteria for the design of the water nozzles would be nigh water concentration but no liquid impinging on the solid wall and complete evaporation inside the tower. In order to optimize the atomizer design, the effects of the spray type (hollow or solid cone), their initial droplet she distribution and water flow rate on the performance of the acid gas absorption were investigated. The liquid behaviour was studied with a fluid dynamic simulation code, and the overall performance was checked experimentally. This paper presents the use of a commercial CFD code, FLUENT, and some modifications made during such investigation. The modification includes the viscosity of the flue gas defined as a function of the temperature, and the initial mass fraction of different droplet size group described with an exponential distribution formula of Rosin-Rammler. The investigation results (the optimal spray parameters) were used to guide the water nozzle design. | 14 | Ultra-thick,dense dual-encapsulated Sb anode architecture with conductively elastic networks promises potassium-ion batteries with high areal and volumetric capacities显示文摘Ultra-thick,dense alloy-type anodes are promising for achieving large areal and volumetric performance in potassium-ion batteries(PIBs),but severe volume expansion as well as sluggish ion and electron diffusion kinetics heavily impede their widespread application.Herein,we design highly dense(3.1 g cm^(-3))Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene and graphene dual-encapsulated nano-Sb monolith architectures(HD-Sb@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-G)with high-conductivity elastic networks(1560 S m^(-1))and compact dually encapsulated structures,which exhibit a large volumetric capacity of 1780.2 mAh cm^(-3)(gravimetric capacity:565.0 mAh g^(-1)),a long-term stable lifespan of 500 cycles with 82%retention,and a large areal capacity of 8.6 mAh cm^(-2)(loading:31 mg cm^(-2))in PIBs.Using ex-situ SEM,in-situ TEM,kinetic investigations,and theoretical calculations,we reveal that the excellent areal and volumetric performance mechanism stems from the three dimensional(3D)high-conductivity elastic networks and the dualencapsulated Sb architecture of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and graphene;these effectively mitigate against volume expansion and the pulverization of Sb,offering good electrolyte penetration and rapid ionic/electronic transmission.Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) also decreases the Kþdiffusion energy barrier,and the ultra-thick compact electrode ensures volumetric and areal performance.These findings provide a feasible strategy for fabricating ultra-thick,dense alloy-type electrodes to achieve high areal and volumetric capacity energy storage via highly-dense,dual-encapsulated architectures with conductive elastic networks. | Zhonggang Liu Xi Liu Bingchun Wang Xinying Wang Dongzhen Lu Dijun Shen Zhefei Sun Yongchang Liu Wenli Zhang Qiaobao Zhang Yunyong Li | 2023 | eScience2023,3,6: | 0 |

| 16 | Preliminary Discussion on Comprehensive Utilization of Tailings显示文摘Tailings produced in a concentration plant are the discharge of solid wastes after grinding ore into size and selecting useful components in the specific economic and technological condition. According to statistics, for the mining of metal ore, non-metallic ore, coal, clay, etc, the production of tailings of the world is up to 100 million tons per year. The number of existing tailing piles is 12718 in China, of which the construction ones are 1526, accounting for 12% of the total, and the closed tailing piles are 1024, accounting for 8%. As of 2007, the national total tailings accumulation is 8.046 billion tons. The non-ferrous metal mining is one of the largest discharge of solid wastes industries because of its low comprehensive recovery rate. For example, the beneficiation and recovery rate of non-ferrous metal mine is from 50% to 60% in China, which is lower 10% to 15% than developed countries, and the associated non-ferrous metal recovery rate is 40%, which is lower 20% than developed countries. On the utilization of duns, Poland is 90% to 100%, United States, Australia, France, Canada, Belgium and other countries followed, while China is only about 20%. The utilization of fly ash is to 100% in Japan and Denmark, France is 65%, UK is 55%, and China is just 45%. Quantities of waste rock, waste slag, and waste water have occupied land, destructed vegetation, deteriorated the soil and water quality, and caused land subsidence, landslides, mud-flow and other geological disasters.
