| 1 | A case of rapid growing colonic NK/T cell lymphoma complicated by Crohn's disease显示文摘A 37-year-old man developed abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea 11 months before admission. The colonoscopy revealed multifocal ulcers in the colon. Histology showed active chronic inflammation. Although anti-tuberculosis medication was effective, his symptoms repeated 2 months later. The subsequent colonoscopy revealed more extensive irregular ulcers than before, and he was clinically suspected with intestinal malignant lymphoma. He underwent subtotal colectomy and was histologically suggested Crohn's disease, then 5-aminosalicylic and a combination of prednisone and azathioprine were administered in succession postoperatively, but they achieved minimal relief of symptoms for a period of 7 months. The third colonoscopy showed a large irregular ulcer in the ileocolon stomas, and primary colonic NK/T cell lymphoma was diagnosed through histological and immunophenotypic studies. | 10 | 吉西他滨联合卡铂作为诱导方案治疗老年不可手术的非小细胞肺癌(英文)显示文摘Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gemcitabine(GEM) and carboplatin(CBP) used as induction regimen in the treatment of elderly patients with locally advanced unresectable non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Seventy-eight cases of elderly patients have been cytologically and pathologically confirmed with locally advanced unresectable NSCLC,the age of the patients ranged from 65 to 75 years.The patients were treated with the combined regimen of gemcitabine and cisplatin.GEM 1000 mg/m2 intravenously injected by drip on the 1st,8th day and the dosage of CBP was AUC 4 that was used on the 1st day,21 days apart to each cycle,most patients received 2 cycles.Treatment response was evaluated according to the criteria of RECIST(Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumor),the side effect of the regimen was judged based on WHO criteria.Results:Seventy-eight patients were evaluated and received a total of 156 cycles chemotherapy.There were no complete regression that could be observed,but 32 cases had partial regression(PR),37 cases with no change(NC) and 9 cases with progression disease(PD).The overall response rate was 41.0%.The main side effects were hematological toxicity.Conclusion:The GC regimen could be used as induction treatment for elderly patients with locally advanced unresectable NSCLC,and the regimen could be well tolerated and is safe in terms of side effects. | Zhihua Sun Hongmin Zheng Linyun Zhang | 2011 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,2: | 0 |

| 12 | Dominant early heading without yield drag in a sister-line BC breeding progeny DEH_229 is controlled by multiple genetic factors with maineffect loci显示文摘Dominant early heading(DEH)in rice(Oryza sativa L.)is of interest in both breeding and genetics.The genetic mechanisms underlying DEH have remained largely unclear.We have developed a near-isogenic DEH line without yield drag named DEH_229 by sister-line backcross(BC)breeding with MH63,a restorer,as the genetic background.We conducted a pilot genetic investigation under both short-day(SD)and long-day(LD)conditions.The DEH line harbored only 1.06%variation in the genome sequence relative to MH63.The variants were distributed throughout the genome.Using QTL mapping by sequencing(QTL-seq)on an F_(2) population derived from a cross of MH63×DEH_229,57 loci were detected under the SD condition.Joint mapping employing a genome-wide association study with accessions from the 3000 rice genome sequencing project(3K-RG),reduced the number of QTL by 43.9%.Using Rice Functional Genomics&Breeding(RFGB)database,the number of SNP cluster regions within the QTL regions reduced by 27.3%.Further comparison of the genome variation between DEH_229 and MH63 in addition to gene annotation information revealed a new DEH allele of DTH3 with multiple variable sites as a possible major factor underlying the early-heading phenotype of DEH_229.An InDel marker,ZMEH_1,was designed based on the variation between DEH_229 and MH63 within this region.It accounted for 86.0%of heading date variation under both SD and LD conditions in 109 randomly chosen progeny derived from extreme lines of the MH63×DEH_229 population.This study reveals the genetic complexity of DEH in the near-isogenic line and may provide useful material and marker information for plant molecular breeding. | Muhiuddin Faruquee Qiang Zhang Lubiao Zhang Linyun Xu Wensheng Wang Jiansan Chen Jianlong Xu Zhikang Li Binying Fu Tianqing Zheng | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 0 |
| 13 | Mechanism of NURP1 in temozolomide resistance in hypoxiatreated glioma cells via the KDM3A/TFEB axis显示文摘Temozolomide(TMZ)resistance is a major obstacle in glioma treatment.Nuclear protein-1(NUPR1)is a regulator of glioma progression.This study investigated the mechanism of NUPR1 in TMZ resistance in hypoxiatreated glioma cells and its mechanism in modulating autophagy.We treated TMZ-resistant cells U251-TMZ and T98G-TMZ to normoxia or hypoxia and silenced NUPR1 in hypoxia-treated U251-TMZ and T98G-TMZ cells to assess cell viability,proliferation,apoptosis,LC3-II/LC3-I and p62 expressions,and autophagic flux under different concentrations of TMZ.We found that hypoxia upregulated NUPR1 expression and autophagy while NUPR1 silencing suppressed hypoxia-induced TMZ resistance and autophagy in glioma cells.We also investigated the interaction between NUPR1 and lysine demethylase 3A(KDM3A),as well as the enrichments of KDM3A and H3 lysine 9 dimethylation(H3K9me2)in the transcription factor EB(TFEB)promoter region.Our results suggest that hypoxia-induced NUPR1 promotes TFEB transcription by binding to KDM3A and reducing H3K9me2 levels,thereby augmenting glioma cell autophagy and TMZ resistance.Moreover,the overexpression of KDM3A or TFEB promoted glioma cell autophagy.In a xenograft tumor model,silencing NUPR1 suppressed TMZ resistance in glioma cells in vivo.Overall,our findings highlight a mechanism by which NUPR1 enhances glioma cell autophagy and TMZ resistance via the KDM3A/TFEB axis. | TAO LI XIN FU JIE WANG WEI SHANG XIAOTONG WANG LINYUN ZHANG JUN LI | 2023 | Oncology Research2023,31,3: | 0 |
| 14 | 局部晚期鼻咽癌同步放化疗临床疗效分析(英文)显示文摘Objective:The prognosis of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) depends on the stage of the disease at diagnosis. Unfortunately, at diagnosis, most of patients have locally advanced, non-metastatic stage III or IVa disease. The study was to evaluate the efficacy and toxicities of cisplatin plus 5-fluorouracil combined with concurrent radiotherapy for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: Sixty-six patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma received chemotherapy of cisplatin plus 5-fluorouracil jointing concurrent radiotherapy; concurrent radiotherapy started on day 1 in the first cycle of chemotherapy of PF, 5-fluorouracil 500 mg/m2 intravenous infusion on days 1-5, cisplatin 80 mg/m2 intravenous infusion on days 1-3, 21 days for a cycle, a total of three cycles; nasopharyngeal lesions and positive lymph node were given a total amount of 70 Gy, prophylactic neck radiation were given the amount of 50 Gy, radiotherapy five times a week, Gy/f. Results: All patients who can be evaluated, the response rate (RR) was 100%; 1-, 3- and 5-year overall survival (OS) were 100%, 86.4%, 21.2%, respectively; 3-year, 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) were 72.7% and 18.2%, respectively; the average survival time and median survival time were 49.0 months and 48.5 months, respectively; the average survival time and median survival time of DFS were 46.1 months and 46.5 months, respectively.
