2Some results on 4~m2~n designs with clear two-factor interaction components显示文摘Clear effects criterion is one of the important rules for selecting optimal fractional factorial designs,and it has become an active research issue in recent years.Tang et al.derived upper and lower bounds on the maximum number of clear two-factor interactions(2fi's) in 2n-(n-k) fractional factorial designs of resolutions III and IV by constructing a 2n-(n-k) design for given k,which are only restricted for the symmetrical case.This paper proposes and studies the clear effects problem for the asymmetrical case.It improves the construction method of Tang et al.for 2n-(n-k) designs with resolution III and derives the upper and lower bounds on the maximum number of clear two-factor interaction components(2fic's) in 4m2n designs with resolutions III and IV.The lower bounds are achieved by constructing specific designs.Comparisons show that the number of clear 2fic's in the resulting design attains its maximum number in many cases,which reveals that the construction methods are satisfactory when they are used to construct 4m2n designs under the clear effects criterion.ZHAO ShengLi ZHANG RunChu LIU MinQian 2008Science China Mathematics2008,51,7:7

4Construction of optimal supersaturated designs by the packing method显示文摘A supersaturated design is essentially a factorial design with the equal occurrence of levels property and no fully aliased factors in which the number of main efits potential in factor screening experiments. A packing design is an important object in combinatorial design theory. In this paper, a strong link between the two apparently unrelated kinds of designs is shown. Several criteria for comparing supersaturated designs are proposed, their properties and connections with other existing criteria are discussed.A combinatorial approach, called the packing method, for constructing optimal supersaturated designs is presented, and properties of the resulting designs are also investigated.Comparisons between the new designs and other existing designs are given, which show that our construction method and the newly constructed designs have good properties.FANG Kaitai GE Gennian LIU Minqian 2004Science China Mathematics2004,47,1:4
5Some results on resolvable incomplete block designs显示文摘This paper is concerned with the uniformity of a certain kind of resolvable incomplete block (RIB for simplicity) design which is called the PRIB design here. A sufficient and necessary condition is obtained, under which a PRIB design is the most uniform in the sense of a discrete discrepancy measure, and the uniform PRIB design is shown to be connected. A construction method for such designs via a kind of U-type designs is proposed, and an existence result of these designs is given. 6Construction of column-orthogonal designs for computer experiments显示文摘Latin hypercube design and uniform design are two kinds of most popular space-filling designs for computer experiments. The fact that the run size equals the number of factor levels in a Latin hypercube design makes it difficult to be orthogonal. While for a uniform design, it usually has good space-filling properties, but does not necessarily have small or zero correlations between factors. In this paper, we construct a class of column-orthogonal and nearly column-orthogonal designs for computer experiments by rotating groups of factors of orthogonal arrays, which supplement the designs for computer experiments in terms of various run sizes and numbers of factor levels and are flexible in accommodating various combinations of factors with different numbers of levels. The resulting column-orthogonal designs not only have uniformly spaced levels for each factor but also have uncorrelated estimates of the linear effects in first order models. Further, they are 3-orthogonal if the corresponding orthogonal arrays have strength equal to or greater than three. 8Individual Word Length Patterns for Fractional Factorial(Split-Plot)Designs显示文摘Fractional factorial(FF)designs are commonly used for factorial experiments in many fields.When some prior knowledge has shown that some factors are more likely to be significant than others,Li,et al.(2015)proposed a new pattern,called the individual word length pattern(IWLP),which,defined on a column of the design matrix,measures the aliasing of the effect assigned to this column and effects involving other factors.In this paper,the authors first investigate the relationships between the IWLP and other popular criteria for regular FF designs.As we know,fractional factorial split-plot(FFSP)designs are important both in theory and practice.So another contribution of this paper is extending the IWLP criterion from FF designs to FFSP designs.The authors propose the IWLP of a factor from the whole-plot(WP),or sub-plot(SP),denoted by the I_w WLP and Is WLP respectively,in the FFSP design.The authors further propose combined word length patterns C_(w) WLP and Cs WLP,in order to select good designs for different cases.The new criteria C_(w) WLP and Cs WLP apply to the situations that the potential important factors are in WP or SP,respectively.Some examples are presented to illustrate the selected designs based on the criteria established here.HAN Xiaoxue CHEN Jianbin YANG Jianfeng LIU Minqian 2023Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2023,36,5:0
9Process-microstructure-properties of CuAlNi shape memory alloys fabricated by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘Cu-based shape memory alloys(SMAs)show great potential in the application of high temperature,but their performance improvement combining with additive manufacturing is still challenging.In this paper,nearly defect-free(99.7%relative density)CuAlNi SMAs with two types of thermal-induced martensites,18R and 2H,were successfully fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).The remelting printing strat-egy with systematic optimization framework including densification and printability analysis was used to get optimal process window.The twin-related self-accommodation structure with long period stacking order substructure was formed during additive manufacturing process.The as-build samples show excel-lent mechanical properties(ultimate compressive strength of 1593±10 MPa and large fracture strain of 23.0%±0.1%)with double-yielding,and outstanding shape memory effect,with maximum recoverable strain of 3.39% and nearly 100%recovery rate under compressive strain not exceeding 6%.Furthermore,the microstructural evolution in LPBF involving remelting,martensitic transformation,and 2H marten-site was discussed.This result not only builds the microstructure framework involving high reflectivity alloys and martensitic transformation but also provides insight into the applicability of LPBF process in producing Cu-based SMAs.Yankun Zhang Lianyong Xu Lei Zhao Danyang Lin Minqian Liu Xueyan Qi Yongdian Han 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,21:0
