1Key technologies for the construction of the Xiluodu high arch dam on the Jinsha River in the development of hydropower in western China显示文摘Hydropower development in China is concentrated in the country's western regions.Among all the rivers in China,the lower course of the Jinsha River contains the richest hydro-energy resource,and therefore,4 mammoth hydropower plants are under construction on this particular section of the river at Wudongde,Baihetan,Xiluodu,and Xiangjiaba.The water-blocking structures of the hydropower facilities at Wudongde,Baihetan and Xiluodu are all arch dams of around 300 m high.In view of changes in the geological conditions at the foundation of the Xiluodu dam on the riverbed after excavation started,the designs of expanding foundation surface excavation and dovetailing the dam body and foundation rock on both upstream and downstream sides were introduced,allowing the arch dam and foundation to fit each other and improving the stress conditions of the dam body and foundation.By dividing the dam body into various concrete sections,the dynamic properties of concrete were adequately adjusted to the distribution of stress in the dam body.In addition,the use of the most optimal concrete material and mixture ratio allowed thermodynamics of concrete to satisfy the requirements of the strength,durability,temperature control and crack prevention of the concrete.Moreover,rigorous temperature control measures were introduced to prevent harmful cracking,thus enhancing the integrity of the arch dam.Furthermore,sophisticated construction machinery,scientific testing methods,and sound construction techniques were employed to ensure the uniformity and reliability of concrete placement.The 'Digital Dam' for the Xiluodu project,which is based on the theory of total life cycle,has supplied strong support for construction process control and decision-making.Lu Youmei Fan Qixiang Zhou Shaowu Li Bingfeng Li Wenwei 2012Engineering Sciences2012,10,2:3

7A novel method for evaluating and improving the ~1H-MRSI glioma data quality显示文摘Metabolic information obtained by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (1H-MRSI) has been approved to be a powerful tool to identify either benign or malignant glioma, as well as to confirm the tumor level. However, 1H-MRSI data are affected by various factors, such as the thermal noise, eddy currents, susceptibility artifacts, and rigid body motion. To get accurate quantitative metabolic information, the key problem is to assess the 1H-MRSI data quality. In this paper, we introduce a new evaluating system to filter the data, and a new method, called wavelet denoising method, to improve the data quality under the evaluating system. 8Wearable and interactive multicolored photochromic fiber display显示文摘Endowing flexible and adaptable fiber devices with light-emitting capabilities has the potential to revolutionize the current design philosophy of intelligent,wearable interactive devices.However,significant challenges remain in developing fiber devices when it comes to achieving uniform and customizable light effects while utilizing lightweight hardware.Here,we introduce a mass-produced,wearable,and interactive photochromic fiber that provides uniform multicolored light control.We designed independent waveguides inside the fiber to maintain total internal reflection of light as it traverses the fiber.The impact of excessive light leakage on the overall illuminance can be reduced by utilizing the saturable absorption effect of fluorescent materials to ensure light emission uniformity along the transmission direction.In addition,we coupled various fluorescent composite materials inside the fiber to achieve artificially controllable spectral radiation of multiple color systems in a single fiber.We prepared fibers on mass-produced kilometer-long using the thermal drawing method.The fibers can be directly integrated into daily wearable devices or clothing in various patterns and combined with other signal input components to control and display patterns as needed.This work provides a new perspective and inspiration to the existing field of fiber display interaction,paving the way for future human–machine integration.Pan Li Yuwei Wang Xiaoxian He Yuyang Cui Jingyu Ouyang Ju Ouyang Zicheng He Jiayu Hu Xiaojuan Liu Hang Wei Yu Wang Xiaoling Lu Qian Ji Xinyuan Cai Li Liu Chong Hou Ning Zhou Shaowu Pan Xiangru Wang Huamin Zhou Cheng-Wei Qiu Yan-Qing Lu Guangming Tao 2024Light(Science & Applications)2024,13,3:0
