1Experimental study on the mechanical properties of rocks at high temperature显示文摘The mechanical properties of marble, limestone, and sandstone as well as the stress-strain curve, the varying characteristics of the peak strength, the peak strain and elastic modulus were studied by using the MTS810 Rock Mechanics Servo-controlled Testing System under the action of temperatures rang- ing from room temperature to 800℃ . Results show that (1) the peak strength and elastic modulus of marble fluctuate at the temperature from normal to 400 ℃ ; and they decrease gradually over 400℃ . (2) With the rise of the temperature, the peak strength and elastic modulus of limestone show downward trend from normal temperature to 200 ℃ ; have little change from 200 ℃ to 600 ℃; and decrease sharply over 600 ℃ . (3) The peak strength of sandstone shows a downward trend while a little change for elastic modulus at normal temperature to 200 ℃ ; and from 200 ℃ to 600 ℃ , the peak strength of sandstone in- creases while a little change for elastic modulus; the peak strength and elastic modulus decrease rap- idly at the temperature over 600 ℃ . (4) The peak strain of limestone shows little change at normal tem- perature to 600 ℃ , however, the peak strain increases rapidly over 600 ℃; and for marble and sandstone, the peak strain decreases with the rise of the temperature from normal temperature to 200℃ , the peak strain increases rapidly over 200℃. 2Effect of specimen size on energy dissipation characteristics of red sandstone under high strain rate显示文摘In this experiment, red sandstone specimens, having slenderness ratios of 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 and 1.1 respectively, were subjected to blow tests using a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) system at a pressure of 0.4 atmospheres. In this paper, we have analyzed the effect of slenderness ratio on the mechanical properties and energy dissipation characteristics of red sandstone under high strain rates. The processes of compaction, elastic deformation and stress softening deformation of specimens contract with an increase in slenderness ratio, whilst the nonlinear deformation process extends correspondingly. In addition, degrees of damage of specimens reduced gradually and the type of destruction showed a transformation trend from stretching failure towards shear failure when the slenderness ratio increased. A model of dynamic damage evolution in red sandstone was established and the parameters of the constitutive model at different ratios of length to diameter were determined. By comparison with the experimental curve, the accuracy of the model, which could reflect the stress–strain dynamic characteristics of red sandstone, was verified. From the view of energy dissipation, an increase in slenderness ratio of a specimen decreased the proportion of energy dissipation and caused a gradual fall in the capability of energy dissipation during the specimen failure process. 3Step-stress Accelerated Degradation Test Modeling and Statistical Analysis Methods显示文摘In order to get a rapid assessment on the storage reliability of high-reliable and long-life products within the storage period,accelerated degradation test data with a large amount of reliability information of product is adopted.Conducting a constant-stress accelerated degradation test(CSADT)is generally very costly as it requires a large sample size and long time for test.To overcome this problem,it is necessary to carry out research on modeling and statistical analysis methods of step-stress accelerated degradation test(SSADT).Taking electrical connectors as the object,a research is conducted on statistical model and assessment method for SSADT.On the basis of mixed-effect degradation path model,the statistical model of SSADT for electrical connectors is presented,the maximum likelihood method for SSADT data based on mixed-effect degradation model is proposed.SSADT accelerated by temperature stress is conducted to Y11X-1419 type of electrical connectors,and the storage reliability is assessed with the SSADT data.Compared with the result obtained from accelerated life test,the reliability estimation of 32-year storage period for electrical connectors obtained from SSADT data only have a difference of 0.869%,which validates the accuracy of the degradation model and the feasibility of the test data statistic analysis method put forward.CHEN Wenhua LIU Juan GAO Liang PAN Jun LU Xianbiao 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6:14
4Antidepressant-like effect of active fraction of Polyrhachisvicina Roger in a rat depression model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the antidepressant-likeeffect of active fraction of Polyrhachis vicina Roger(AFPR) in a rat depression model, and to elucidate the underlying mechanism.METHODS: AFPR was extracted with ethanol followed by petroleum ether. Its antidepressant-like effect was investigated in mice by tail suspension test(TST), forced swimming test(FST) and open field test(OPT). A repeated dose of reserpine(0.5 mg/kg, daily for 14 d) was used to establish a rat depression model. Fluoxetine was used as positive control agent. The effect of AFPR on reserpine-induced ptosis, hypothermia and akinesia, the levels of monoamines and their metabolites, and the activity of monoamine oxidase(MAO) in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex were determined.RESULTS: Administration of AFPR by gavage at 160 and 320 mg/kg significantly reduced the duration of immobility in the FST and TST, and did not affect locomotor activity in the OPT. In the reserpine-induced depression model, AFPR attenuated anhedonia, demonstrated by reversing hypothermia, akinesia and sucrose consumption. AFPR significantly increased the concentration of monoamines, including dopamine, serotonin, noradrenaline and acetylcholine.CONCLUSION: AFPR normalized the metabolism rates of noradrenaline, serotonin and dopamine,and the activity of MAO, which were altered by chronic reserpine exposure. 5Preparation of composite adsorbent of sawdust and CaCl_2 by carbonization method for creating pore显示文摘To solve the problem of swelling and agglomeration of CaCl 2 during the process of ammonia adsorption and improve the performance of mass transfer,we present a new method for the preparation of adsorbent.The CaCl 2 is first immerged into sawdust by soaking method,then the composite adsorbent is prepared by carbonizing the mixture of CaCl 2 and sawdust.The SEM image and elements analysis indicated that the new adsorbent has high porosity and uniform distribution of CaCl 2 due to carbonization under temperature of 700°C.The performance testing of ammonia adsorption showed that under the conditions of evaporation temperature of 5°C and condensation temperature of 40°C,the ammonia uptake reaches 0.204,0.253 and 0.285 kg/kg,the specific cooling power(SCP) is 868.96,540.02 and 405.16 W/kg,and the average adsorption rate is 6.79×10 4,4.22×10 4 and 3.17×10 4 kg/kg/s when the adsorption time is 5,10 and 15 min,respectively.The problems of swelling and agglomeration of CaCl 2 are solved.BU XianBiao WANG LingBao LI HuaShan LU ZhenNeng 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9:2

7Preparation of composite adsorbent with high performance of heat and mass transfer显示文摘To develop a new composite adsorbent with high performance,fir sawdust and CaCl2are selected as raw materials.The mass transfer is enhanced by carbonizing and activating the sawdust and heat transfer is enhanced by adding expanded graphite into the adsorbent.The effect of the preparation temperature and the expanded graphite content on the adsorption performance is investigated.The results show that the new adsorbent exhibits a high adsorption performance due to its high porosity,uniform distribution and high content of CaCl2and high thermal conductivity.Also,the experimental results indicate that the rate of ammonia adsorption on the adsorbent depends on the expanded graphite content and the carbonization and activation temperature.The adsorbent prepared at 500°C and with the expanded graphite content of 30%has the best performance in terms of the adsorption refrigeration,which adsorbs ammonia as high as 0.37 g g 1at 10 min.BU XianBiao LU ZhenNeng WANG LingBao 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,30:1
