1Analysis of Flowing and Heat Transfer of Commercial Molten Nitrate in Porous Foundation Material显示文摘The leakage accident of molten salt in the thermal storage tank will cause the shutdown and enormous economic losses of Concentrated Solar Power plants.This study investigates the heat transfer and flow characteristic of commercial molten nitrates leaking in the thermal state porous foundation material.The migration width and depth of three molten nitrates,Solar Salt(60 wt%NaNO_(3)-40 wt%KNO_(3)),Hitec XL(7 wt%NaNO_(3)-45 wt%KNO_(3)-48 wt%Ca(NO_(3))_(2))and Hitec(7 wt%NaNO_(3)-53 wt%KNO_(3)-40 wt%NaNO_(2)),are obtained at different operating temperatures.Experimental results indicate that the temperature rising rate of foundation material in the nitrate leaking process has a trend of first increasing rapidly and then decreasing,and then it increases slightly as the depth increases.The temperature rising rate increases obviously with increasing operating temperature of the molten salt.With the increase of the operating temperature,the distances from the storage tank bottom to solid salt in foundation and the total migration depths both increase obviously,while the average migrating widths change slightly.At the same operating temperature,the temperature rising rate of the foundation material where Hitec XL and Hitec salt leak is significantly greater than that with Solar Salt,which is closely related to the melting points of molten salts.The migration depth of Hitec is 95.03%greater than that of Solar Salt and 19.11%larger than that of Hitec XL at the operating temperature of 300℃.Compared with Hitec XL,the leakage of Hitec with a smaller viscosity has a larger temperature rising rate and a wider and deeper transporting range during the leakage process.This work could guide the installation locations of the leak detection devices for high temperature storage tank and the environmental treatment of leaking accident.SHI Hua ZHOU Hao MENG Hanxiao LV Laiquan LIU Tianxiao ZUO Yuhang CEN Kefa 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,4:0
2Influence of coke rate on thermal treatment of waste selective catalytic reduction(SCR)catalyst during iron ore sintering显示文摘Waste selective catalytic reduction(SCR)catalyst as a hazardous waste has a significant impact on the environment and human health.In present study,a novel technology for thermal treatment of waste SCR catalyst was proposed by adding it to sinter mix for iron ore sintering.The influences of coke rate on the flame front propagation,sinter microstructure,and sinter quality during sintering co-processing the waste SCR catalyst process were studied.In situ tests results indicated the maximum sintering bed temperature increased at higher coke rate,indicating more liquid phase generated and higher airflow resistance.The sintering time was longer and the calculated flame front speed dropped at higher coke rate.Sinter microstructure results found the coalescence and reshaping of bubbles were more fully with increasing coke rate.The porosity dropped from 35.28%to 25.66%,the pore average diameter of large pores decreased from 383.76μm to 311.43μm.With increasing coke rate,the sinter indexes of tumbler index,productivity,and yield,increased from 33.2%,9.2 t·m^(-2)·d^(-1),28.9%to 58.0%,36.0 t·m^(-2)·d^(-1),68.9%,respectively.Finally,a comprehensive index was introduced to systematically assess the influence of coke rate on sinter quality,which rose from 100 to 200 when coke rate was increased from 3.5%(mass)to 5.5%(mass).Pengnan Ma Jiankang Wang Hanxiao Meng Laiquan Lv Hao Fang Kefa Cen Hao Zhou 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2:0
