| 1 | β-Arrestin 1 and 2 and G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 expression in pituitary adenomas:role in the regulation of response to somatostatin analogue treatment in patients with acromegaly显示文摘Recent in vitro studies highlighted G protein-coupled receptor kinase(GRK)2 andβ-arrestins as important players in driving somatostatin receptor(SSTR)desensitization and trafficking.Our aim was to characterize GRK2 andβ-arrestins expression in different pituitary adenomas and to investigate their potential role in the response to somatostatin analog(SSA)treatment in GHsecreting adenomas(GHomas).We evaluated mRNA expression of multiple SSTRs,GRK2,β-arrestin 1,andβ-arrestin 2 in 41pituitary adenomas(31 GHomas,6 nonfunctioning[NFPAs],and 4 prolactinomas[PRLomas]).Within the GHomas group,mRNA data were correlated with the in vivo response to an acute octreotide test and with the GH-lowering effect of SSA in cultured primary cells.β-Arrestin 1 expression was low in all 3 adenoma histotypes.However,its expression was significantly lower in GHomas | Gatto F Feelders R van der Pas R Kros JM Dogan F van Koetsveld PM van der Lelij AJ Neggers SJ Minuto F de Herder W Lamberts SW Ferone D Hofland LJ | 2013 | 中国神经肿瘤杂志2013，11，4： | 2 |

| 18 | Comparison of Diaton transpalpebral tonometer with applanation tonometry in keratoconus显示文摘AIM:To investigate the added value of using a Diaton transpalpebral tonometer(DT) to measure IOP in keratoconus.Most type of tonometers use corneal applanation or biomechanical resistance to measure intraocular pressure(IOP);however,these factors can be altered by keratoconus.Specifically,we examined whether DT can detect false-negative low Goldmann applanation tonometry(AT) measurements.· METHODS:Patients with keratoconus were recruited from our tertiary academic treatment center.Measurements included AT and DT(in random order)and Scheimpflug imaging.An age- and gender-matched group of control subjects with no history of corneal disease or glaucoma was also recruited.· RESULTS:In total,130 eyes from 66 participants were assessed.In the keratoconus group,mean AT was11.0±2.6,mean DT 11.2±5.5(P =0.729),and the two measures were correlated significantly(P=0.006,R=0.323).However,a Bland-Altman plot revealed a wide distribution and poor agreement between both measurements.Previous corneal crosslinking,corneal pachymetry,and Krumeich classification had no effect on measured IOP.· CONCLUSION:Measurements obtained using a Diaton tonometer are not affected by corneal biomechanics;however,its poor agreement with Goldmann AT values calls into question the added value of using a Diaton tonometer to measure IOP in keratoconus. | Robert PL Wisse Natalie Peeters Saskia M Imhof Allegonda van der Lelij | 2016 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2016，9，3： | 0 |
