1Color image enhancement based on HVS and PCNN显示文摘To enhance color images more effectively, a novel strategy is presented in this paper. We firstly translate the image to be enhanced from RGB space into HIS space, secondly keep its H component unchanged, and thirdly stretch its S component exponentially, and at last process its I component in the following manner: couple both the gray value and the spatial information into an inner activity item of corresponding neuron, integrate the human visual system into a dynamic component of corresponding neuron, and compare the inner activity item with dynamic component to obtain the enhanced image. 2PLL DEMODULATION TECHNIQUE FOR M-RAY POSITION PHASE SHIFT KEYING显示文摘The paper presents a kind of transmission system which employs M-ary Position Phase Shift Keying(MPPSK) to send data and Phase Locked Loop(PLL) based techniques for data retrieve.With a single PLL, MPPSK demodulation is achieved, as well as carrier recovery and symbol synchronization.Firstly, MPPSK modulation method is briefly introduced.2PPSK's PSD expression is given with its optimization result.Orthogonal Phase Detector(PD) and static threshold are used for the purpose of wider phase range and simplicity in demodulation.The data rate is alterable, which is 4.65 kbps for 2PPSK and 9.3 kbps for 4PPSK in the paper.Then some indicative comparisons in Signal to Noise Ratio Symbol Error Rate(SNR-SER) are made among 2PPSK, 3PPSK and 4PPSK, of which 4PPSK has proved to be optimal in ten slots each symbol conditions.And finally, it is demonstrated by system simulations that lower than 10-4 Symbol Error Rate(SER) performance can be obtained at 13 dB symbol SNR.Qi Chenhao Wu Lenan 2009Journal of Electronics(China)2009,26,3:10
3Improved image filter based on SPCNN显示文摘By extraction of the thoughts of non-linear model and adaptive model match, an improved Nagao filter is brought. Meanwhile a technique based on simplified pulse coupled neural network and used for noise positioning, is put forward. Combining the two methods above, we acquire a new method that can restore images cor-rupted by salt and pepper noise. 4DESIGN OF DIGITAL IMPACTING FILTER IN CP-EBPSK WITH RANDOM-POLAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM显示文摘To solve the difficulty of designing digital impacting filter in the receiver of random-polar modulated Extended Binary Phase Shift Keying with Continuous Phase (CP-EBPSK), a design method based on Quantum-behaved Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) algorithm is proposed. Firstly, QPSO is introduced elaborately, and the basic flow of QPSO is also given. Then, the demodulation principle of digital impacting filter in the communication system of CP-EBPSK with random-polar is demonstrated, and QPSO is utilized to design the digital impacting filter, which also takes the effect of finite word length into consideration when implemented by hardware. Finally, the proposed method is simulated. 5PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF LOW DENSITY PARITY CHECK CODES FOR DIGITAL RADIO MONDIALE (DRM) SYSTEM显示文摘In Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) system, achieving good audio quality becomes a challenge due to its limited band-width of 9 or 10kHz and the very bad fading channels. Therefore, DRM needs highly efficient channel coding schemes. This paper, proposes the schemes which use the Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) coded Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation (BICM) schemes for the implementation of DRM systems. 6Throughput-efficient wireless system and blind detection via improved particle filtering显示文摘This paper introduces throughput-efficient wireless system based on an extension to binary phasemodulations,named extended binary phase shift keying(EBPSK),and the corresponding analysis ofpower spectra,especially the extension to channel capacity are given.Importantly,a novel sequential es-timation and detection approach for this EBPSK system is proposed.The basic idea is to design a proba-bilistic approximation method for the computation of the maximum a posterior distribution via particle fil-tering method(PF).Subsequently,a new important function in PF is presented,so that the performanceof the detector has a great improvement.Finally,computer simulation illustrates that EBPSK system hasvery high transmission rate,and also the good performance of the proposed PF detector is demonstrated.冯熳 Wu Lenan 2009High Technology Letters2009,15,2:2

15Segment-based coding of color images显示文摘Based on the idea of second generation image coding, a novel scheme for coding still images is pre- sented. At first, an image was partitioned with a pulse-coupled neural network; and then an improved chain code and the 2D discrete cosine transform was adopted to encode the shape and the color of its edges respectively. To code its smooth and texture regions, an improved zero-trees strategy based on the 2nd generation wavelet was chosen. After that, the zero-tree chart was selected to rearrange quantified coefficients. And finally some regulations were given according to psychology of various users.
