| 1 | 中国淮安地区2009年至2011年恶性肿瘤的发病率及死亡率分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the cancer incidence and mortality in Huai'an area, China, from 2009 to 2011. Methods: The data about cancer incidence and mortality were provided by Huai'an Cancer Registry, China. In- cidence and mortality rates, and standardized rates were calculated by age, gender, areas (urban and rural areas of Huai'an) and cancer sites. Results: The crude incidence rate for all cancer sites was 205.60/10 5 and the standardized incidence rate was 166.22/10 5 . Both the crude and standardized rates were higher in urban area than in rural area for both sexes. The inci- dence rates increased in people aged 40 and over, and the peak ages of incidence were between 70-75 in both males and females. The crude mortality rate for all cancer sites was 153.88/10 5 and the standardized mortality rate was 122.14/10 5 . Both the crude and standardized rates were similar in urban and rural areas for both men and women. The mortality rates were at low level under the age 50 in both sexes, but increased after the age 50, reaching the peak at the ages of 80-85 in both males and females. The top 10 most common cancer sites in rank were esophagus, stomach, lung, liver, colon-rectum, breast, pancreas, cervix uteri, brain and central nervous system, and leukemia, accounting for 87.56% of all cancers. The top 10 most leading causes of cancer death in order were cancers of esophagus, lung, liver, stomach, colon-rectum, pancreas, brain and central nervous system, leukemia, breast and lymphoma, accounting for 90.53% of all cancer deaths. Conclusion: Cancer is one kind of major diseases threatening people's health in Huai'an area, China. Cancer prevention and control should be enhanced, especially for esophageal cancer. | Guangjin Yuan Qianwen Li Yunxiang Du Shunlin Shan Zhimin Wang Enchun Pan Yuan He Ting Wang | 2012 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2012,11,9: | 3 |

| 4 | Preclinical Strength Checking for Artificial Pelvic Prosthesis under Multi-activities-A Case Study显示文摘Customized prostheses are normally employed to reconstruct the biomechanics of the pelvis after resection due to tumors or accidents. The objective of this study is to evaluate the biomechanics of the pelvis under different daily activities and to establish a functional evaluation methodology for the customized prostheses. For this purposes, finite element model of a healthy pelvis as well as a reconstructed pelvic model after type II+III resection were built for biomechanical study. The biomechanical perfonnance of the healthy and reconstructed pelvic model was studied under routine activities including standing, knee bending, sitting down, standing up,walking, stair descent and stair ascent.Subsequently, the strength and stability of the prosthesis were evaluated under these activities. Results showed that, for the heathy pelvic model, the stresses were mainly concentrated around the upper part of the sacrum and the sacroiliac joint undergoing different activities, and the maximum stress occurred during stair ascent. As for the reconstructed pelvis, the stress distribution and the tendency of the maximum stress variation predicted for the bone part during all the activities were similar to those of the natural pelvic model, which indicated that the load transferring function of the reconstructed pelvis could be restored by the prosthesis. Moreover, the predicted maximum von Mises stress of the screws and prosthesis was below the fatigue strength of the 3D printed Ti-6A1-4V,which indicated the prosthesis can provide a reliable mechanical performance after implantation. | Enchun Dong Taimoor Iqbal Jun Fu Dichen Li Bin Liu Zheng Guo Alberto Cuadrado Zhen Zhen Ling Wang Hongbin Fan | 2019 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2019,16,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Additive manufactured polyether-ether-ketone implants for orthopaedic applications:a narrative review显示文摘Polyether-ether-ketone(PEEK)is believed to be the next-generation biomedical material for orthopaedic implants that may replace metal materials because of its good biocompatibility, appropriate mechanical properties and radiolucency.Currently, some PEEK implants have been used successfully for many years. However, there is no customised PEEK orthopaedic implant made by additive manufacturing licensed for the market, although clinical trials have been increasingly reported. In this review article, design criteria, including geometric matching, functional restoration, strength safety, early fixation,long-term stability and manufacturing capability, are summarised, focusing on the clinical requirements. An integrated framework of design and manufacturing processes to create customised PEEK implants is presented, and several typical clinical applications such as cranioplasty patches, rib prostheses, mandibular prostheses, scapula prostheses and femoral prostheses are described. The main technical challenge faced by PEEK orthopaedic implants lies in the poor bonding with bone and soft tissue due to its biological inertness, which may be solved by adding bioactive fillers and manufacturing porous architecture. The lack of technical standards is also one of the major factors preventing additive-manufactured customised PEEK orthopaedic implants from clinical translation, and it is good to see that the abundance of standards in the field of additive-manufactured medical devices is helping them enter the clinical market. | Changning Sun Jianfeng Kang Chuncheng Yang Jibao Zheng Yanwen Su Enchun Dong Yingjie Liu Siqi Yao Changquan Shi Huanhao Pang Jiankang He Ling Wang Chaozong Liu Jianhua Peng Liang Liu Yong Jiang Dichen Li | 2022 | Biomaterials Translational2022,3,2: | 0 |
| 6 | 中国淮安地区2009年至2011年食管癌流行病学特征分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of our study was to investigate the epidemiological characteristics of esophageal cancer from 2009 to 2011 in Huai'an area, China. Methods: The data about the incidence and mortality of esophageal cancer were provid- ed by Huai'an Cancer Registry, and the epidemiological characteristics of the disease were analyzed. Results: Esophageal cancer was not only the first most common cancer, but also the leading cause of cancer death in Huai'an area. The crude and standardized incidence rates were 62.91/10 5 and 49.92/10 5 , and the crude and standardized mortality rates were 46.75/10 5 and 36.87/10 5 , respectively. The sex ratio (male-female) was 1.69:1 in incidence, and the incidence increased in people aged 40 years and over, reaching the peak at the ages of 70-75 years. The mortality rate was at low level under the age of 50 years, but increased after the age of 50 years, reaching the peak at the age of 75-85 years. Incidence and mortality rates varied regionally with the highest rate found in Chuzhou district (90.76/10 5 and 67.17/10 5 ) and lowest rate observed in Qinghe district (32.41/10 5 and 8.75/10 5 ). Conclusion: Esophageal cancer is the major burden of cancer in Huai'an area, and has marked geographic distribution difference. The key period of age for screening and prevention of the disease is 55-85 years old. | Guangjin Yuan Qianwen Li Yuxiang Du Shunlin Shan Zhimin Wang Enchun Pan Yuan He Ting Wang | 2012 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2012,11,9: | 0 |
