11064 nm InGaAsP multi-junction laser power converters显示文摘Laser photovoltaic devices converting 1064 nm light energy into electric energy present a promising prospect in wireless energy transmission due to the commercial availability of high power 1064 nm lasers with very small divergence. Besides their high conversion efficiency, a high output voltage is also expected in a laser energy transmission system. Meanwhile,1064 nm InGaAsP multi-junction laser power converters have been developed using p^+-InGaAs/n^+-InGaAs tunnel junctions to connect sub-cells in series to obtain a high output voltage. The triple-junction laser power converter structures are grown on p-type InP substrates by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD), and InGaAsP laser power converters are fabricated by conventional photovoltaic device processing. The room-temperature I–V measurements show that the 1 × 1 cm^2 triplejunction InGaAsP laser power converters demonstrate a conversion efficiency of 32.6% at a power density of 1.1 W/cm^2, with an open-circuit voltage of 2.16 V and a fill factor of 0.74. 2Experimental study of vertical and batter pile groups in saturated sand using a centrifuge shaking table显示文摘To study the dynamic response of vertical and batter pile groups in saturated sand,dynamic tests of these pile groups in saturated sand were carried out using the ZJU400 geotechnical centrifuge at Zhejiang University.The following results were obtained.(1)As the motion intensity increased,the peak acceleration in soil layers at different depths significantly decreased,indicating that the soil stiffness was significantly reduced.(2)During the motion process,the instantaneous bending moment of the vertical and batter pile groups at different depths changed continuously,which had a strong relationship with the saturated sand liquefaction.In the process of sand liquefaction,the residual bending moment generated by the batter pile was more obvious than that of the vertical pile.(3)With the liquefaction of the saturated sand,the distribution of the maximum bending moment of the vertical pile group changed,and the bending moment near the pile cap of the vertical and batter pile groups was always large.(4)In certain cases,the horizontal acceleration and dynamic displacement of the vertical pile cap were amplified.When the motion intensity was large,residual displacement of the batter pile cap occurred.Zhang Jian Li Yurun Yan Zhixiao Huang Da Rong Xian Liang Yan 2022Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,1:1
3Characterizations of high-voltage vertically-stacked GaAs laser power converter显示文摘Six-junction vertically-stacked Ga As laser power converters(LPCs) with n^+-Ga As/p^+-Al0.37 Ga0.63 As tunnel junctions have been designed and grown by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition for converting the power of 808 nm lasers. The LPC chips are characterized by measuring current–voltage(I–V) characteristics under 808 nm laser illumination, and a maximum conversion efficiency ηc of 53.1% is obtained for LPCs with an aperture diameter of 2 mm at an input laser power of 0.5 W. 4Modified room temperature solid-state synthesis of yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) nano-powders for solid oxide fuel cells显示文摘High-performance solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) is in urgent need of high-quality electrolyte powders with high reactivity and chemical uniformity.Here,8 mol% Y_(2)O_(3) doped ZrO_(2)(YSZ) nano-powders were synthesized by an improved solid-state reaction method at ambient temperature,and were applied to the fabrication of SOFC electrolytes.YSZ nano-powders show average grain sizes of ^(2)0 nm and high dispersibility,which is comparable with or even better than some other chemical methods.Benefitting from their high reactivity,dense YSZ electrolytes(relative density of 97.9%) can be obtained at a relatively low sintering temperature of 1400℃.The optimized electrical conductivity reaches up to a high value of0.034 S/cm at 800 0C in air.The anode supported single cell with the construction of Ni-YSZ/YSZ/Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(2-δ)(SDC)/La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ)(LSCF) exhibits the peak power density of 0.827 W/cm^(2) at800℃ while taking wet H_(2) as fuels and ambient air as oxidants.Xiaoqian Xu Yurun Feng Zhaoyu Zhong Xue Guo Zhenhao Zhang Jiao Li Shikai Zhao Shigang Wu Haibin Sun 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9:0
5Dynamic p-y curves for vertical and batter pile groups in liquefied sand显示文摘In this study,centrifuge model tests of vertical and batter pile groups in liquefied sand were conducted on a centrifuge shaking table.The dynamic p-y curves for these pile groups before and during sand liquefaction were obtained from calculations based on test data.The results confirm that liquefaction contributes to a reduction in the energy consumption of pile foundations,with the degradation effect being more pronounced for batter pile groups.At shallow depths,the difference in the backbone gradients of the p-y curves after liquefaction for vertical and batter pile groups indicates that the lateral stiffness of a batter pile group is greater than that of a vertical pile group.As shaking intensity increases,the lateral stiffness of a vertical pile group increases with depth during the late stage of sand liquefaction.However,the lateral stiffness of a batter pile group during liquefaction does not vary with depth.The results of this study provide a reference for the seismic design of vertical and batter pile groups in liquefied soil.Zhang Jian Li Yurun Rong Xian Liang Yan 2022Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,3:0
6Application of geophysical-geochemical method in verification of stream sediment anomaly in Baoxinggou area of Heilongjiang显示文摘Baoxinggou area is located in northern Daxing'anling. In this area,comprehensive use of geophysical and geochemical exploration methods plays an important role in the prospecting,and has yielded some application results so far. Based on the 1 /100 000 stream sediment anomaly survey,the methods of 1 /20 000 soil geochemical measurement,trenching engineering on the earth's surface and 1 /10 000 IP intermediate gradient survey were all used to verify and decompose drainage anomalies,as well as to find and locate ore bodies. 7Parametric study on controllable growth of SrZrS_(3)thin films with good conductivity for photodetectors显示文摘SrZrS_(3)is a promising chalcogenide perovskite with unique advantages including high abundance of consisting elements,high chemical stability,strong light absorption above its direct band gap,excellent carrier transport ability.While unfortunately,due to the lack of breakthroughs in its thin film synthesis technique,its optoelectronic properties are not fully investigated,not to mention the device applications.In this work,large-area and uniform SrZrS_(3)thin film(5 cm×5 cm)was prepared by facile sputtering method,followed by a post-annealing treatment at a high temperature of 1000℃for 2–12 h under CS_(2)atmosphere.All SrZrS_(3)samples prepared adopt distorted orthorhombic structure with pnma space group and have high crystallinity.In addition,the band gap of SrZrS_(3)thin film is measured to be 2.29 eV,higher than that of the powder form(2.06 eV).Importantly,the light absorption coefficient of SrZrS_(3)thin film reaches over 105 cm^(−1),the carrier mobility is as high as 106 cm^(2)/(V∙s).The above advantages allow us to use the SrZrS_(3)thin film as photoactive layer for photodetector applications.Finally,a symmetrically structured photoconductive detector was fabricated,performing a high responsivity of 8 A/W(405 nm light excitation).These inspiring results promise the glorious application potential of SrZrS_(3)thin film in photodetectors,solar cells,other optoelectronic devices.Yurun Liang Yuewen Zhang Jie Xu Jingli Ma Huifang Jiang Xin Li Baolin Zhang Xu Chen Yongtao Tian Yanbing Han Zhifeng Shi 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
