| 1 | Evaluation of zeolites synthesized from fly ash as potential adsorbents for wastewater containing heavy metals显示文摘The pure-form zeolites(A and X) were synthesized by applying a two-stage method during hydrothermal treatment of fly ash prepared initial Cu and Zn gel. The difference of adsorption capacity of both synthesized zeolits was assessed using Cu and Zn as target heavy metal ions. It was found that adsorption capacity of zeolite A showed much higher value than that of zeolite X. Thus, attention was focused on investigating the removal performance of heavy metal ions in aqueous solution on zeolite A,comparing with zeolite HS(hydroxyl-solidate) prepared from the residual fly ash(after synthesis of pure-form zeolite A from fly ash) and a commercial grade zeolite A. Batch method was used to study the influential parameters of the adsorption process. The equilibrium data were well fitted by the Langmuir model. The removal mechanism of metal ions followed adsorption and ion exchange processes. Attempts were also made to recover heavy metal ions and regenerate adsorbents. | WANG Chunfeng,LI Jiansheng,SUN Xia,WANG Lianjun,SUN XiuyunSchool of Chemical Engineering,Nanjing University of Science and Technology,Nanjing 210094,China. | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,1: | 12 |
| 2 | Variable Parameter Nonlinear Control for Maximum Power Point Tracking Considering Mitigation of Drive-train Load显示文摘Since mechanical loads exert a significant influence on the life span of wind turbines, the reduction of transient load on drive-train shaft has received more attention when implementing a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) controller. Moreover, a trade-off between the efficiency of wind energy extraction and the load level of drive-train shaft becomes a key issue. However, for the existing control strategies based on nonlinear model of wind turbines, the MPPT efficiencies are improved at the cost of the intensive fluctuation of generator torque and significant increase of transient load on drive train shaft. Hence, in this paper, a nonlinear controller with variable parameter is proposed for improving MPPT efficiency and mitigating transient load on drive-train simultaneously. Then, simulations on FAST(Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Turbulence) code and experiments on the wind turbine simulator(WTS) based test bench are presented to verify the efficiency improvement of the proposed control strategy with less cost of drive-train load. | Zaiyu Chen Minghui Yin Lianjun Zhou Yaping Xia Jiankun Liu Yun Zou | 2017 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,2: | 2 |

| 4 | Analysis on Tectonic Movement of the Longmenshan Fault Zone before the Wenchuan M_S 8. 0 Great Earthquake显示文摘On the basis of elastic rebound theory, using the horizontal velocity field of the Chinese mainland calculated from GPS data during three observation periods from 1999 to 2007,the velocity components that are parallel and plumb to the fault zone are calculated respectively for different periods, and then relative ground movements of two sides of the fault zone are analyzed with power function fitting and graphics. The results show that the relative ground movement shows right-lateral shear deformation before the Wenchuan MS8. 0 earthquake, and at the same time the movement was hindered by the Longmenshan fault zone. Thus, this result has positive significance for distinguishing the elastic strain energy accumulation and deformation anomaly in an earthquake preparation process, and for conducting further research on earthquake prediction. | Ping Jianjun Jiang Zaisen Feng Xiangdong Ping Caipeng Shan Lianjun Wang Xia | 2014 | Earthquake Research in China2014,28,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Impact of pulmonary vein isolation on atrial vagal activity and atrial electrical remodeling显示文摘Objective Mechanisms of pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) for atrial fibrillation remain controversy. This study aimed to investigate the impact of PVI on vagal modulation to atria. Methods Eighteen adult mongrel dogs under general anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups.Bilateral cervical sympathovagal trunks were decentralized and sympathetic effects was blocked by metoprolol administration.Atrial electrical remodeling (AER) was established by rapid right atrial pacing at the rate of 600 bpm for 30 minutes.PVI was performed in group A.Atrial effective refractory period (ERP),vulnerability window (VW) of atrial fibrillation, and sinus rhythm cycle length (SCL) were measured at baseline and during vagal stimulation before and after atrial rapid pacing with and without PVI at fight atrial appendage (RAA),left atrial appendage (LAA),distal coronary sinus (CSd) and proximal coronary sinus (CSp).Results (1) Effects of PVI on vagal modulation:Shortening of SCL during vagal stimulation decreased significantly after PVI compared with that before PVI in group A (P<0.001).Shortening of ERP during vagal stimulation decreaseed significantly after PVI compared with that before PVI (P<0.05).VW of atrial fibrillation during vagal stimulation decreased significantly after PVI compared with that before PVI (P<0.05).(2) Effects of PVI on AER:shortening of ERP before and after atrial rapid pacing increased significantly at baseline and vagal stimulation in group B compared with that in group A (P<0.05).VW during vagal stimulation increased significantly after atrial rapid pacing in group B (P<0.05).Conclusion PVI attenuates the vagal modulation to the atria, thereby decreases the susceptibility to atrial fibrillation mediated by vagal activity.PVI releases AER,which maybe contributes to the vagal denervation. Our study indicates that PVI not only can eradicate triggered foci but also modify substrates for AF.(J Geriatr Cardiol 2008;5:28-32) | Yingxue Dong Shulong Zhang Lianjun Gao Hongwei Zhao Donghui Yang Yunlong Xia Yanzong Yang | 2008 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2008,5,1: | 0 |
