| 1 | Numerical investigation on effects of side curtain opening behavior on indoor climate of naturally ventilated dairy buildings显示文摘The side-curtain is popular in cattle buildings to regulate indoor climates and ventilation rates by adjusting the opening ratio.It normally had three different adjusting strategies relate to the position of rollers,i.e.central roller(S1),top roller(S2)and bottom roller(S3),which result in different opening behaviors to generate the same opening ratio but different opening positions in the side wall for a full-curtain house.Numerical simulations were conducted using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)to investigate the effects of the eight potential opening behaviors of side curtains on the indoor climates and airflow rates in winter for a typical naturally ventilated dairy house in China when the opening ratio were 8.5%and 17%.Airflow patterns,wind chilled temperature(WCT)and age of air were analyzed in the animal occupied zone(AOZ)by taking reference planes.Openings at the very bottom of side walls had more efficient ventilation due to the younger air age,more effective air disturbing,more uniformly distributed indicators in AOZ.However,it will result in a lower WCT in AOZ although a lower ventilation rate was observed in this case.Openings on the very top of side wall would generate a better thermal comfort in AOZ but with very poor air quality and nonuniformly distributed airflows in the dairy house.S1 was not recommended to the practical application due to the poor indoor climate and the higher cost of the mechanical structure.Based on the comprehensive evaluations of the analytic hierarchy process,the most satisfaction opening positions were at the bottom of the side curtains and the optimized adjusting strategy is S2. | Qifeng Li Chuanxia Yao Luyu Ding Ligen Yu Weihong Ma Ronghua Gao Wengang Zheng | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,5: | 2 |
| 2 | Single-atom Sn-Zn pairs in CuO catalyst promote dimethyldichlorosilane synthesis显示文摘Single-atom catalysts are of great interest because they can maximize the atom-utilization efficiency and generate unique catalytic properties;however,much attention has been paid to single-site active components,rarely to catalyst promoters.Promoters can significantly affect the activity and selectivity of a catalyst,even at their low concentrations in catalysts.In this work,we designed and synthesized CuO catalysts with atomically dispersed co-promoters of Sn and Zn.When used as the catalyst in the Rochow reaction for the synthesis of dimethyldichlorosilane,this catalyst exhibited much-enhanced activity,selectivity and stability compared with the conventional CuO catalysts with promoters in the form of nanoparticles.Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that single-atomic Sn substitution in the CuO surface can enrich surface Cu vacancies and promote dispersion of Zn to its atomic levels.Sn and Zn single sites as the co-promoters cooperatively generate electronic interaction with the CuO support,which further facilitates the adsorption of the reactant molecules on the surface,thereby leading to the superior catalytic performance. | Qi Shi Yongjun Ji Wenxin Chen Yongxia Zhu Jing Li Hezhi Liu Zhi Li Shubo Tian Ligen Wang Ziyi Zhong Limin Wang Jianmin Ma Yadong Li Fabing Su | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,3: | 2 |

| 4 | Deployment and Exploration of a Gas Storage Well Pattern Based on the Threshold Radius显示文摘To tackle the problem that wells that are deployed in a specific pattern based on the requirements of gas reservoir development are not suitable for gas storage,we have conducted concentrically circular injection and production simulation experiments for gas storage,discovered the existence of a threshold radius,denoted by Rt,and derived the expression for Rt.Based on the analysis and discussion results,we propose a strategy for deploying gas storage wells in specific patterns.The expression for Rt shows that it is affected by factors such as the gas storage gas production/injection time,the upper pressure limit,the lower pressure limit,the bottomhole flow pressure at the ends of injection and production,the and permeability.The analysis and discussion results show that the Rt of a gas storage facility is much smaller than the Rt for gas reservoir development.In the gas storage facilities in China,the Rt for gas production is less than the Rt for the gas injection,and Rt increases with the difference in the operating pressure and with permeability K.Based on the characteristics of Rt,we propose three suggestions for gas storage well pattern deployment:(1)calculate Rt according to the designed functions of the gas storage facility and deploy the well pattern according to Rt;(2)deploy sparser,large-wellbore patterns in high-permeability areas and denser,small-wellbore patterns in high-permeability areas;and(3)achieve the gas injection well pattern by new drilling,and the gas production well pattern through a combination of the gas injection well pattern and old wells.By assessing a gas storage facility with a perfect well pattern after a number of adjustments,we found that the Rt of the 12 wells calculated in this paper is basically close to the corresponding actual radius,which validates our method.The results of this study provide a methodological basis for well pattern deployment in new gas storage construction. | TANG Ligen ZHU Weiyao ZHU Huayin SUN Chunhui YANG Fenglai WANG Yan Li Xiaorui Li Haiming CHU Guangzhen WANG Jieming KONG Debin YUE Ming LIU Yuwei HUANG Kun | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,2: | 1 |

| 6 | A novel phenotype of B cells associated with enhanced phagocytic capability and chemotactic function after ischemic stroke显示文摘Accumulating evidence has demonstrated the involvement of B cells in neuroinflammation and neuroregeneration.However,the role of B cells in ischemic stroke remains unclear.In this study,we identified a novel phenotype of macrophage-like B cells in brain-infiltrating immune cells expressing a high level of CD45.Macrophage-like B cells chara cterized by co-expression of B-cell and macrophage markers,showed stronger phagocytic and chemotactic functions compared with other B cells and showed upregulated expression of phagocytosis-related genes.Gene Ontology analysis found that the expression of genes associated with phagocytosis,including phagosome-and lysosome-related genes,was upregulated in macrophage-like B cells.The phagocytic activity of macrophage-like B cells was ve rified by immunostaining and three-dimensional reconstruction,in which TREM2-labeled macrophage-like B cells enwrapped and internalized myelin debris after cerebral ischemia.Cell-cell interaction analysis revealed that macrophage-like B cells released multiple chemokines to recruit peripheral immune cells mainly via CCL pathways.Single-cell RNA sequencing showed that the transdiffe rentiation to macrophage-like B cells may be induced by specific upregulation of the transcription factor CEBP fa mily to the myeloid lineage and/or by downregulation of the transcription factor Pax5 to the lymphoid lineage.Furthermore,this distinct B cell phenotype was detected in brain tissues from mice or patients with traumatic brain injury,Alzheimer’s disease,and glioblastoma.Overall,these results provide a new perspective on the phagocytic capability and chemotactic function of B cells in the ischemic brain.These cells may serve as an immunotherapeutic target for regulating the immune response of ischemic stroke. | Rui Wang Huaming Li Chenhan Ling Xiaotao Zhang Jianan Lu Weimin Luan Jianmin Zhang Ligen Shi | 2023 | Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,11: | 1 |

| 9 | Estimating the air exchange rates in naturally ventilated cattle houses using Bayesian-optimized GBDT显示文摘It is challenging to estimate the air exchange rate(AER)dynamically in naturally ventilated livestock buildings such as dairy houses due to the influence of complex and variable outdoor environmental factors,large opening ratios,and the confusion of inflow and outflow at openings.This makes it difficult to efficiently regulate the opening ratio to meet the ventilation requirements in naturally ventilated livestock buildings.In this study,the air exchange rates of naturally ventilated cattle houses(NVCHs)in different seasons and opening ratios were obtained through field measurements and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations.A fast and efficient machine learning framework was proposed and examined to predict AER based on the gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)combined with Bayesian optimization.Compared with commonly used machine learning models such as multilayer perceptrons(MLPs)and support vector machines(SVMs),the proposed GBDT model has higher prediction accuracy and can avoid falling easily into local optima.Compared with the existing mechanical model based on the Bernoulli equation,the proposed GBDT model showed a slightly higher prediction than the mechanistic model and was much easier to use in AER estimation when inputting easily collected environmental factors in practical applications.Using Bayesian optimization could dramatically reduce the computing time when determining the optimal hyperparameter for establishing the GBDT model,dramatically saving on computing resources.Based on the Bayesian optimized GBDT model,the desirable opening ratio of the side curtain can be determined for automatically regulating the AER of cattle houses in future applications. | Luyu Ding Lei E Yang Lyu Chunxia Yao Qifeng Li Shiwei Huang Weihong Ma Ligen Yu Ronghua Gao | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 10 | An analysis method of injection and production dynamic transient flow in a gas field storage facility显示文摘A dynamic transient flow analysis method considering complex factors such as the cyclic injection and production history in a gas field storage facility was established in view of the limitations of the existing methods for transient flow analysis and the characteristics of the injection-production operation of strongly heterogeneous gas reservoirs, and the corresponding theoretical charts were drawn. In addition, an injection-production dynamic transient flow analysis model named 'three points and two stages' suitable for an underground gas storage(UGS) well with alternate working conditions was proposed. The 'three points' refer to three time points during cyclic injection and production, namely, the starting point of gas injection for UGS construction, the beginning and ending points of the injection-production analysis stage;and the 'two stages' refer to historical flow stage and injection-production analysis stage. The study shows that the dimensionless pseudo-pressure and dimensionless pseudo-pressure integral curves of UGS well flex downward in the early stage of the injection and production process, and the dimensionless pseudo-pressure integral derivative curve is convex during the gas production period and concave during the gas injection period, and the curves under different flow histories have atypical features. The new method present in this paper can analyze transient flow of UGS accurately.
