1Ultrasensitive skin‐like wearable optical sensors based on glass micro/nanofibers显示文摘Electronic skin,a class of wearable electronic sensors that mimic the functionalities of human skin,has made remarkable success in applications including health monitoring,human-machine interaction and electronic-biological interfaces.While electronic skin continues to achieve higher sensitivity and faster response,its ultimate performance is fundamentally limited by the nature of low-frequency AC currents.Herein,highly sensitive skin-like wearable optical sensors are demonstrated by embedding glass micro/nanofibers(MNFs)in thin layers of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS).Enabled by the transition from guided modes into radiation modes of the waveguiding MNFs upon external stimuli,the skin-like optical sensors show ultrahigh sensitivity(1870 k·Pa^-1),low detection limit(7 mPa)and fast response(10μs)for pressure sensing,significantly exceeding the performance metrics of state-of-the-art electronic skins.Electromagnetic interference(EMI)-free detection of high-frequency vibrations,wrist pulse and human voice are realized.Moreover,a five-sensor optical data glove and a 2×2-MNF tactile sensor are demonstrated.These initial results pave the way toward a new category of optical devices ranging from ultrasensitive wearable sensors to optical skins.Lei Zhang Jing Pan Zhang Zhang Hao Wu Ni Yao Dawei Cai Yingxin Xu Jin Zhang Guofei Sun Liqiang Wang Weidong Geng Wenguang Jin Wei Fang Dawei Di Limin Tong 2020Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,3:12
2Effects of aging treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of Cr25Ni35Nb and Cr35Ni45Nb furnace tube steel显示文摘Cr25Ni35Nb and Cr35Ni45Nb alloys are usually used in the ethylene cracking furnaces.However,premature failure of furnace tubes often occurs ahead of design life due to elevated temperature exposure conditions (1050-1100 ℃) and aggressive service environment.Effects of exposure temperature and time on microstructure and mechanical properties of Cr25Ni35Nb and Cr35Ni45Nb steel at aging temperature (1200 ℃) with various exposure time were simulated different service times at 1050 ℃.Change of mechanical properties at room temperature and elevated temperature (900 ℃) of the aged Cr25Ni35Nb and Cr35Ni45Nb steel were investigated.Under exposure at 1200 ℃,ultimate tensile and yield strength,elongation of Cr35Ni45Nb steel increase initially and then decrease,however,strength and ductility of Cr25Ni35Nb steel decrease with aging time increasing.Large amount of fine secondary carbide particles precipitated and dispersed in matrix of Cr35Ni45Nb steel,which increased strength and ductility for dispersion strengthening.However,the effect of the dispersion strengthening is weakened by needle-like secondary carbides.Strength and ductility decreased with fine secondary carbide particles growing.For Cr25Ni35Nb steel,few fine secondary carbide particles precipitated and dispersed in the matrix,and needle-like secondary carbides generated in the matrix,which causes strength and ductility decreased with aging time increasing.Limin SHEN Jianming GONG Yong JIANG Luyang GENG 2011Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2011,24,3:8
3Effect of the injection pressure and orifice diameter on the spray characteristics of biodiesel显示文摘The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the injection pressure and orifice diameter on the spray characteristics of soybean biodiesel.The macroscopic spray characteristics of the spray tip penetration(STP)and spray cone angle(SCA)were tested with a high-speed camera system.The microscopic spray characteristics,such as the statistical size distribution,Sauter mean diameter(SMD),representative diameters and dispersion boundary,were obtained using a Malvern laser particle size analyzer(PSA).The test results showed that with an increasing injection pressure,the STP and the SCA of the biodiesel increased,but the curves of size-volume distribution and cumulative volume distribution of the atomized droplets shifted to smaller diameters.The SMD and representative diameters decreased,and the dispersion boundary was reduced.Moreover,with a decreasing orifice diameter,longer STP and smaller SCA values were observed.Similarly,the size distribution curves of the atomized biodiesel droplets shifted to smaller diameters.The SMD and representative diameters were reduced,and the relative size range of the atomized biodiesel droplets was enlarged.Higher injection pressures and smaller orifice diameters improved the biodiesel atomization;however,the smaller orifice diameters caused an inhomogeneous size distribution of the atomized biodiesel droplets.Limin Geng Yanjuan Wang Yueying Wang Huimei Li 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,3:4
4Spray,atomization and combustion characteristics of oxygenated fuels in a constant volume bomb:A review显示文摘Biofuels have extensive available resources and have an immense potential as promising alternative fuels for automobile.The application advantages of biofuels are mainly reflected as particulate matter(PM)reduction,carbon neutral,greenhouse gases reduction,waste utilization,energy and economic security,and fuel pluralism.Based on the understanding of molecular structure effects of biofuels on soot formation and particles morphology,the effects of alcohols,ethers,esters and biodiesel on spray and combustion process in constant volume bomb in recent years are retrospectively analyzed in this paper.For the mixture,macromolecular ester fuels and polyoxymethylene dimethyl ether(PODE)are conducive to the improvement of liquid spray,while biodiesel,small molecules,dimethyl ether(DME)and alcohols are reversed.Alcohols are advantageous to the extension of mixing time and the increasing of vapor-phase mixture.Through the influence integrated assessment,alcohols show the best performance on the spray,atomization and combustion,while biodiesels show the worst.But in terms of combustion,PODE is the best choice without considering spray and atomization.For binary alternative-diesel fuel blends,methanol or butanol is the best additive based on synthetically considerations on spray,atomization and combustion.To meet the requirements of the fuel application of diesel engine,ternary fuel or even quaternary fuel have been proposed and explored.This review can help to form a systematic understanding on fuel recombining and obtain the guide of clean and efficient fuel formulation for diesel engine.Peng Zhang Xin Su Chengshan Yi Hao Chen Hongming Xu Limin Geng 2020Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,3:2

6Damage prediction of HP40Nb steel with coupled creep and carburization based on the continuum damage mechanics显示文摘HP40Nb steel,used as a candidate material for ethylene cracking furnace tube,suffers creep and carburization damage from the complex environment of high temperature,high carbon potential and low oxygen partial pressure,and they lead to failure of the furnace tubes ahead of designed life.In order to investigate damage evolution under the complex condition,coupled creep damage and carburization damage constitutive equations were developed according to continuum damage mechanics theory.Based on the finite element ABAQUS code,user subroutines were developed for analyzing damage evolution of ethylene furnace tube under the action of coupled creepcarburization.The results show that carburization accelerates the damage process dramatically,damage value reaches the critical value along the inner surface after serving for 75,000 h under the action of creep-carburization,meanwhile the damage value is only 0.53 along the outer surface after operating the same time under the action of creep alone,which means that microcracks are generated along the inner surface under the action of coupled creep-carburization,fracture begins along the outer surface of tube under the action of creep alone.Limin SHEN Jianming GONG Yong JIANG Luyang GENG 2012Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2012,25,4:1
7Serum Antioxidant Enzymes SOD and CAT of Nile Tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)in Response to Pesticide Methomyl and Recovery Pattern显示文摘Tilapia were exposed to sub-lethal concentrations of 0,0. 2,2,20 or 200 μg/L for 30 d,and then transferred to methomyl-free water for 18 d. CAT and SOD in tilapia serum were examined at 0,6,12,18,24 and 30 d after methomyl exposure and at 18 d after transferring to methomyl-free water. There were no significant changes in antioxidants activities in tilapia exposed to 0. 2 μg/L. Significant increases in SOD,CAT were observed following methomyl exposure to 2,20 or 200 μg/L,suggesting the presence of oxidative stress. Thus,the 0. 2 μg/L methomyl might be considered the no observed adverse effect level. 8Numerical study of effect of post injection coupled with EGR on combustion and emission performances of CRDI engine fueled with biodiesel-ethanol blends显示文摘Energy shortage and environmental pollution are becoming more serious,biodiesel is regarded as the most promising alternative fuel for diesel engines due to its environmentally friendly and renewable characteristics.In this study,the biodiesel-ethanol blends were used in a diesel engine,and the purpose of the study was to simultaneously control the NOx and soot emissions of the diesel engine by adjusting the injection strategy and EGR rate.A turbocharged,six-cylinder,common rail direct injection(CRDI)engine model was established using GT-Power.The effects of the main-post injection strategy and post injection coupled with exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)on combustion and emission characteristics were investigated at a maximum torque speed and a medium load.The results show that when the main-post injection strategy is employed,the combustion duration of the main injection is shortened with an increase in the main-post injection interval(MPI).When the MPI increased to more than 18℃A,the heat release of post injection could be observed clearly from the curve of the heat release rate,NOx emissions decreased by 5.70%and 7.12%,respectively,and soot emissions decreased by 25.56%and 30.20%,respectively.Moreover,with the increasing post injection quantity,the combustion duration of the main injection shortened,and the peak heat release rate(PHRR)of the post injection increased.When the fuel quantity for the post injection increased from 2 to 6 mg,NOx emissions decreased from 2.33%to 9.80%,and soot emissions decreased from 16.10%to 34.97%.The effect of post injection quantity on emissions was more significant than that of the MPI.In addition,with increasing EGR rate,the ignition delay is prolonged,the peak cylinder pressure,PHRR,peak combustion temperature and NOx emissions decrease,whereas soot emissions increase gradually.Main-post injection can improve the NO-soot trade-off,the optimal EGR rate is 22.86%under a post injection quantity of 4 mg and a MPI of 22℃A.Limin Geng Hongliang Xiao Yuxuan Cui Nan Gao Qi Li Hao Chen Yuantao Xie 2023Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2023,10,6:0
