1Controlling N-doping type in carbon to boost single-atom site Cu catalyzed transfer hydrogenation of quinoline显示文摘Single-atom site(SA)catalysts on N-doped carbon(CN)materials exhibit prominent performance for their active sites being M-Nx.Due to the commonly random doping behaviors of N species in these CN,it is a tough issue to finely regulate their doping types and clarify their effect on the catalytic property of such catalysts.Herein,we report that the N-doping type in CN can be dominated as pyrrolic-N and pyridinic-N respectively through compounding with different metal oxides.It is found that the proportion of distinct doped N species in CN depends on the acidity and basicity of compounded metal oxide host.Owing to the coordination by pyrrolic-N,the SA Cu catalyst displays an enhanced activity(two-fold)for transfer hydrogenation of quinoline to access the valuable molecule tetrahydroquinoline with a good selectivity(99%)under mild conditions.The higher electron density of SA Cu species induced by the predominate pyrrolic-N coordination benefits the hydrogen transfer process and reduces the energy barrier of the hydrogenation pathway,which accounts for the improved catalytic effeciency.Jian Zhang Caiyan Zheng Maolin Zhang Yajun Qiu Qi Xu Weng-Chon Cheong Wenxing Chen Lirong Zheng Lin Gu Zhengpeng Hu Dingsheng Wang Yadong Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,11:29

3Seasonal dynamics of water bloom-forming Microcystis morphospecies and the associated extracellular microcystin concentrations in large,shallow,eutrophic Dianchi Lake显示文摘The increasing occurrence of Microcystis blooms is of great concern to public health and ecosystem due to the potential hepatotoxic microcystins(MCs)produced by these colonial cyanobacteria.In order to interpret the relationships between variations of Microcystis morphospecies and extracellular MC concentrations,the seasonal dynamics of phytoplankton community composition,MC concentrations,and environmental parameters were monitored monthly from August,2009 to July,2010.The results indicated that Microcystis dominated total phytoplankton abundance from May to December(96%–99%of total biovolume),with toxic Microcystis viridis and non-toxic Microcystis wesenbergii dominating after July(constituting 65%–95%of the Microcystis population),followed by M.viridis as the sole dominant species from November to January(49%–93%).Correlation analysis revealed that water temperature and nutrient were the most important variables accounting for the occurrence of M.wesenbergii,while the dominance of M.viridis was related with nitrite and nitrate.The relatively low content of MCs was explained by the association with a large proportion of M.viridis and M.wesenbergii,small colony size of Microcystis populations,and low water temperature,pH and dissolved oxygen.The extracellular MC(mean of 0.5±0.2μg/L)of water samples analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)demonstrated the low concentrations of MC in Dianchi Lake which implied the low potential risk for human health in the basin.The survey provides the first whole lake study of the occurrence and seasonal variability of Microcystis population and extracellular MCs that are of particular interest for water quality monitoring and management.Yanlong Wu Lin Li Nanqin Gan Lingling Zheng Haiyan Ma Kun Shan Jin Liu Bangding Xiao Lirong Song 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,9:12
4Preventive effect of Shenkang injection against high glucose-induced senescence of renal tubular cells显示文摘Shenkang injection (SKI) is a classic prescription composed of Radix Astragali, rhubarb, Astragalus, Safflower, and Salvia. This treatment was approved by the State Food and Drug Administration of China in 1999 for treatment of chronic kidney diseases based on good efficacy and safety. This study aimed to investigate the protective effect of SKI against high glucose (HG)-induced renal tubular cell senescence and its underlying mechanism. Primary renal proximal tubule epithelial cells were cultured in (1) control medium (control group), medium containing 5 mmol/L glucose;(2) mannitol medium (mannitol group), medium containing 5 mmol/L glucose, and 25 mmol/L mannitol;(3) HG medium (HG group) containing 30 mmol/L glucose;(4) SKI treatment at high (200 mg/L), medium (100 mg/L), or low (50 mg/L) concentration in HG medium (HG+ SKI group);or (5) 200 mg/L SKI treatment in control medium (control+ SKI group) for 72 h. HG-induced senescent cells showed the emergence of senescence associated heterochromatin foci, up-regulation of P16INK4 and cyclin D1, increased senescence-associated β-galactosidase activity, and elevated expression of membrane decoy receptor 2. SKI treatment potently prevented these changes in a dose-independent manner. SKI treatment prevented HG-induced up-regulation of pro-senescence molecule mammalian target of rapamycin and p66Shc and down-regulation of anti-senescence molecules klotho, sirt1, and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-g in renal tubular epithelial cells. 6Porous γ-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticle decorated with atomically dispersed platinum: Study on atomic site structural change and gas sensor activity evolution显示文摘Decorating semi-conducting metal oxide with noble metal has been recognized as a viable approach to improve the sensitivity of gas sensor. However, conventional method which relys on noble metal nanoparticles is confronted with drawback of significantly increased cost. To maximize the atom efficiency and reduce the cost for practical industrial application, designing sensor material with noble metal isolated single atom sites (ISAS) doping is a desired option. Here, we report an atomically dispersed platinum on one-dimensional arranged porous γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticle composites as highly efficient ethanol gas sensor. The optimized sample (Pt1-Fe2O3-ox) exhibited a high response (Ra/Rg = 102.4) and good selectivity to ethanol gas. It is demonstrated only the Pt single atom sites with high valance can effectively promote the adsorption capacity to ethanol and consequently enhance the sensitivity of sensing process by changing the electrical structure of Fe2O3 support. 7A flow cytometer based protocol for quantitative analysis of bloom-forming cyanobacteria(Microcystis) in lake sediments显示文摘A quantitative protocol for the rapid analysis of Microcystis cells and colonies in lake sediment was developed using a modified flow cytometer,the CytoSense.For cell enumeration,diluted sediment samples containing Microcystis were processed with sonication to disintegrate colonies into single cells.An optimized procedure suggested that 5 mg dw(dry weight)/mL dilution combined with 200 W × 2 min sonication yielded the highest counting efficiency.Under the optimized determination conditions,the quantification limit of this protocol was 3.3×10 4 cells/g dw.For colony analysis,Microcystis were isolated from the sediment by filtration.Colony lengths measured by flow cytometry were similar to those measured by microscopy for the size range of one single cell to almost 400 μm in length.Moreover,the relationship between colony size and cell number was determined for three Microcystis species,including Microcystis flos-aquae,M.aeruginosa and M.wessenbergii.Regression formulas were used to calculate the cell numbers in differentsized colonies.The developed protocol was applied to field sediment samples from Lake Taihu.The results indicated the potential and applicability of flow cytometry as a tool for the rapid analysis of benthic Microcystis.This study provided a new capability for the high frequency monitoring of benthic overwintering and population dynamics of this bloom-forming cyanobacterium.Quan Zhou Wei Chen Huiyong Zhang Liang Peng Liming Liu Zhiguo Han Neng Wan Lin Li Lirong Song 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,9:5
8Fabricating Pd isolated single atom sites on C3N4/rGO for heterogenization of homogeneous catalysis显示文摘Metal isolated single atomic sites catalysts have attracted intensive attention in recent years owing to their maximized atom utilization and unique structure.Despite the success of single atom catalyst synthesis,directly anchoring metal single atoms on three-dimensional(3D)macro support,which is promising to achieve the heterogenization of homogeneous catalysis,remains a challenge and a blank in this field.Herein,we successfully fabricate metal single atoms(Pd,Pt,Ru,Au)on porous carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide(C3N4/rGO)foam as highly efficient catalysts with convenient recyclability.C3N4/rGO foam features two-dimensional microstructures with abundant N chelating sites for the stabilization of metal single atoms and vertically-aligned hierarchical mesostructure that benefits the mass diffusion.The obtained Pdi/C3N4/rGO monolith catalyst exhibits much enhanced activity over its nanoparticle counterpart for Suzuki-Miyaura reaction.Moreover,the Pdi/C3N4/rGO monolith catalyst can be readily assembled in a flow reactor to achieve the highly efficient continuous production of 4-nitro-1,1'-biphenyl through Suzuki-Miyaura coupling.Ninghua Fu Xiao Liang Zhi Li Wenxing Chen Yu Wang Lirong Zheng Qinghua Zhang Chen Chen Dingsheng Wang Qing Peng Lin Gu Yadong Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:5
9The soil configuration on granite residuals affects Benggang erosion by altering the soil water regime on the slope显示文摘A permanent collapsing gully,locally called Benggang,formed on slopes with deep granite red soil and is a type of unique gully erosion widely prevalent in southern China.Three different soil configurations(SC),ie,red-transition-sandy(SC I,the transition is the soil layer between the red soil and the sandy soil layer),transition-sandy(SC II)or sandy(SC III)are usually present in the soil profile of the Benggang slope.However,little attention has been paid to impacts of SCs on the triggering of Benggang erosion.In this study,we aimed to explore the relationships between soil water content(SWC)and triggering of Benggang erosion under different SC conditions.The soil properties of different soil layers were measured and the SWC at depths of 20,40,60,and 80 cm were monitored at 5-min intervals along a typical Benggang(SC I)during 2016-2018.The SWC of Benggang slopes with different SCs were simulated by VADOSE/W model.Results showed that the red soil layer had a higher water retention capacity and shear strength than the sandy soil layer.Even if the SWC is higher(e.g.,0.42 cm^(3)/cm^(3))at red soil layer or transition layer,the corresponding shear strength is greater than that of sandy soil layer with a lower SWC(e.g.,032 cm^(3)/cm^(3)).Relationships between shear strength and SWC of different soil layers indicate that Benggang erosion is triggered by an increase in the SWC in the deep sandy layer.Results also showed that differences exist in the SWC distribution among the different SCs.The SWC is higher in topsoil than in deeper soil in SC I and SC II,while in SC III,the opposite trend is observed.These results revealed that the presence of the red soil or transition layer can reduce the infiltration of rainwater into the deep sandy layer,thus can reduce the possibility of collapse.Our results show that the SC affects the stability of the headwall,and results provide great significances to guide the mitigation of Benggang erosion.Xiaoqian Duan Yusong Deng Yu Tao Yangbo He Lirong Lin Jiazhou Chen 2021International Soil and Water Conservation Research2021,9,3:4

12Tetrahedral framework nucleic acids-based delivery of microRNA-155 inhibits choroidal neovascularization by regulating the polarization of macrophages显示文摘Choroidal neovascularization(CNV)is a common pathological feature of various eye diseases and an important cause of visual impairment in middle-aged and elderly patients.In previous studies,tetrahedral framework nucleic acids(tFNAs)showed good carrier performance.In this experiment,we developed microRNA-155-equipped tFNAs(T-155)and explored its biological effects on CNV.Based on the results of in-vitro experiments,T-155 could regulate macrophages into the antiangiogenic M1 type.Then,we injected T-155 into the vitreous of laser-induced CNV model mice and found that T-155 significantly reduced the size and area of CNV,inhibited blood vessel leakage.In summary,we prove that T-155 could regulate the inflammatory process of CNV by polarizing macrophages,thereby improving the symptoms of CNV.Thus,T-155 might become a new DNA-based drug with great potential for treating CNV.Xin Qin Lirong Xiao Ni Li Chen Hou Wenman Li Jiajie Li Naihong Yan Yunfeng Lin 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,8:2
13Ginger-indirect moxibustion plus acupuncture versus acupuncture alone for chronic fatigue syndrome:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of gingerindirect moxibustion for chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).METHODS:In this central randomized,controlled trial,290 CFS participants were recruited and randomly allocated to group A(ginger-indirect moxibustion plus acupuncture)or group B(acupuncture alone).The study consisted of a treatment period of 8 weeks with a total of 24 treatments(3 sessions per week,every other day),and a follow-up period of 12 weeks.The outcome was measured by Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS),Psychological Health Report(SPHERE),the Self-rating depression scale(SDS)and the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)at baseline,2,4,6,8,12 and 20 weeks.RESULTS:With the treatment undergoing,the changes of FSS,SPHERE,SDS and HAMA scores in both groups increased gradually,and the effect maintained at the 12th week.Between groups,significantly higher score changes were seen in group A in FSS after 4 weeks treatment(11.94 vs 9.12,95%CI:0.94,4.7)and in SPHERE after 2 weeks treatment(3.7 vs 2.27,95%CI:0.56,2.31).But for SDS and HAMA,the improvement did not differ significantly between groups.No severe adverse events were reported.CONCLUSION:Ginger-indirect moxibustion is a safe and effective intervention to relieve fatigue and accompanying physical symptoms of CFS.MA Tingting WU Jie YANG Lijie FENG Fen YANG Huilin ZHANG Jinhua ZHONG Yanjin NING Qing HUANG Lirong LIN Youbing YAN Jue CHEN Guiquan HOU Tianshu WANG Li REN Yuanfang TAN Jing 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2:2
14Experimental Study on the Distribution of Soil Nitrate and Ammonium Nitrogen under Controlled Drainage显示文摘A field experimental project was set up to assess the effects of controlled drainage on the distribution and concentration of nitrogen in the soil at the Irrigation and Drainage Experimental Station under Four-Lake Engineering Administration of Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. Two plots drain runoff by controlled drainage system, with an area of 0.1 hm2 (20 m×50 m) each. The third one with an area of 0.04 hm2 (8 m×50 m) has a conventional subsurface drainage system. Under this experimental condition, the study draws the following conclusions: ① The controlled drainage system has a remarkable effect on the diminishing ratios of nitrate nitrogen between neighboring layers. It is presented that the diminishing ratio increases with the raising height of drain outlet. Controlled drainage system also reduces the transference of nitrate nitrogen in topsoil. ② Different from nitrate nitrogen, the concentration of ammonium nitrogen is stable along the longitudinal section of soil, which is little affected by the controlled drainage system. 17Boosting Efficient Ammonia Synthesis over Atomically Dispersed Co-Based Catalyst via the Modulation of Geometric and Electronic Structures显示文摘Ammonia(NH_(3))synthesis at mild conditions is of great significance,while the significant bottleneck of this process is the activation of N_(2) to realize the desired NH_(3) synthesis performance,which requires deep insight and rational design of active sites at the atomic level.Here,were synthesized atomically dispersed Co-based catalysts with different Co-N coordination numbers(CNs)to explore the coordination-sensitive NH_(3) synthesis reaction for the first time.Our studies showed that Co-based catalysts increased the NH_(3) synthesis rate gradually with a decrease in CN.The Co-N_(2) catalyst exhibited the highest NH_(3) synthesis rate of 85.3 mmol gCo^(−1) h^(−1) at 300℃ and 1 MPa,which outperformed most of the previously reported Co-based catalysts.Various characterizations and theoretical calculations demonstrated that atomically dispersed Co catalyst with low CN could generate more unoccupied Co 3d charges and tetrahedral cobalt(Ⅱ)sites.The unoccupied Co 3d charge,in turn,promoted the electron donation from the Co active center to the antibonding π-orbital(π*)of N_(2) and expedites N_(2) hydrogenation.Furthermore,the Co-N_(2) catalyst with more tetrahedral cobalt(II)sites could effectively facilitate the desorption of N-containing intermediate species(such as*NH_(3) and*N_(2)H_(4))to obtain a high NH_(3) synthesis rate.Yanliang Zhou Congying Wang Xuanbei Peng Tianhua Zhang Xiuyun Wang Yafei Jiang Haifeng Qi Lirong Zheng Jianxin Lin Lilong Jiang 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,5:1
