| 1 | Radiofrequency ablation combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization therapy versus surgical resection for Barcelona-Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC) A hepatocellular carcinoma: a meta-analysis显示文摘Purpose: The objective of our study was to compare the effectiveness of the combination of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) and radiofrequency ablation(RFA) with that of surgical resection(SR) in Barcelona-Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC) A hepatocellular carcinoma. Materials and Methods: PubMed, Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched for comparisons of the two therapies from January 2006 to December 2017. Overall survival rate(OS), recurrence-free survival rate(RFS), complications, and the average length of hospital stay were compared and analyzed. Review Manager v. 5.2 from the Cochrane Collaboration was used for statistical analyses. Results: Seven case-control studies and one randomized controlled trial were identified, of which 717 were treated with a combination of TACE and RFA and 785 were treated with SR. Meta-analysis data revealed that TACE plus RFA had significantly better effectiveness on 1.0-y OS(OR = 0.50, p =.009). The major complications(ORcomplications = 1.88, p =.02) after the combined therapy were significantly lower than those after SR. There were three studies that reported the average length of hospital stay. The hospital stay for the SR group vs the combined therapy group was 19.8 ± 8.4 d vs 7.4 ± 2.2 d, respectively(p <.0001); 18.7 ± 4.9 d vs 11.5 ± 6.9 d, respectively(p <.0001); and 16.6 ± 6.7 d vs 8.5 ± 4.1 d, respectively(p <.0001). There was no significant difference in 3.0-or 5.0-y OS and 1.0-, 3.0-, or 5.0-y RFS. | 2 | Very-High Color Rendering Index Hybrid White Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with Double Emitting Nanolayers显示文摘A very-high color rendering index white organic light-emitting diode(WOLED) based on a simple structure was successfully fabricated. The optimized device exhibits a maximum total efficiency of 13.1 and 5.4 lm/W at 1,000 cd/m2. A peak color rendering index of 90 and a relatively stable color during a wide range of luminance were obtained. | 3 | Trajectory prediction of ballistic missiles using Gaussian process error model显示文摘Ballistic Missile Trajectory Prediction(BMTP)is critical to air defense systems.Most Trajectory Prediction(TP)methods focus on the coast and reentry phases,in which the Ballistic Missile(BM)trajectories are modeled as ellipses or the state components are propagated by the dynamic integral equations on time scales.In contrast,the boost-phase TP is more challenging because there are many unknown forces acting on the BM in this phase.To tackle this difficult problem,a novel BMTP method by using Gaussian Processes(GPs)is proposed in this paper.In particular,the GP is employed to train the prediction error model of the boost-phase trajectory database,in which the error refers to the difference between the true BM state at the prediction moment and the integral extrapolation of the BM state.And the final BMTP is a combination of the dynamic equation based numerical integration and the GP-based prediction error.Since the trained GP aims to capture the relationship between the numerical integration and the unknown error,the modified BM state prediction is closer to the true one compared with the original TP.Furthermore,the GP is able to output the uncertainty information of the TP,which is of great significance for determining the warning range centered on the predicted BM state.Simulation results show that the proposed method effectively improves the BMTP accuracy during the boost phase and provides reliable uncertainty estimation boundaries. | Ruiping JI Yan LIANG Linfeng XU Zhenwei WEI | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1: | 3 |

Herein, promising microcellular foamedpolyamide 6 (PA6)/carbon nanotube (CNT) composites for highly efficient EM wave absorption were successfully fabricated using supercritical CO_(2) foaming. Nanocomposites foams with a void fraction rangingfrom 38.7% to 85.1% were achieved, providing a platform to assess the correlation of the electrical conductivity, the dielectric permittivity and the EM wave absorption properties with porosity. Notably, theFoam-257.5C sample with a void fraction of 38.7% exhibited outstanding EM wave absorption characteristics at a thickness of only 1.59 mm and an ultra-low reflection loss value of -55.3 dB (99.9997% wave absorption). Most importantly, the effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of the Foam-257.5C sample couldcover the entire Ku band (12.4–18 GHz) by slightly adjusting the thickness from 1.20 to 1.60 mm. Thesuperior EM wave absorption performance of the Foam-257.5C sample was attributed to multiple reflections and scattering at the solid-gas interfaces, favorable impedance matching due to the existence ofa large polymer-air interface area, conductive loss near the interfaces and interfacial polarization. However, it is unclear whether different mouse models with mitochondrialrelated diseases have similar changes in mitochondrial morphology of the same tissues. Moreover, whether similarities in mitochondrial morphology can be a suitable marker for screening and/or discovering mitochondrial-protective substances remains unknown. Mitochondria morphology in different tissues of a novel mitochondrial outer membrane protein Slc25a46 knockout mouse and a traditional APP_(SWE)/PS1ΔE9 transgenic mouse were examined using transmission electron microscope(TEM). Both young Slc25a46 knockout mice and aged APP_(SWE)/PS1ΔE9 mice models showed similar mitochondrial damage in cerebellum tissues. The results indicated that different mitochondrial-related diseases shared similar alteration and defects in mitochondrial morphology. Furthermore, Lycium ruthenicum Murr. extract, a bioactive food substance with cognition-improving property, could effectively improve muscle strength and increase body weight in the Slc25a46 knockout mice. These findings suggest that mitochondrial morphology defects in mice models, particularly in the mitochondrial compartment, represent a unified and effective marker for screening and validating natural product-derived functional substances with mitochondrial protective properties.
