3Low temperature specific heat of 12442-type KCa2Fe4As4F2 single crystals显示文摘Low-temperature specific heat(SH)is measured for the 12442-type KCa2Fe4As4F2 single crystal under different magnetic fields.A clear SH jump with the height of?C/T|Tc=130 mJ mol-1 K-2 is observed at the superconducting transition temperature Tc.It is found that the electronic SH coefficient?γ(H)quickly increases when the field is in the low-field region below 3T and then considerably slows down the increase with a further increase in the field,which indicates a rather strong anisotropy or multi-gap feature with a small minimum in the superconducting gap(s).The temperature-dependent SH data indicate the presence of the T2 term,which supplies further information and supports the picture with a line-nodal gap structure.Moreover,the onset point of the SH transition remains almost unchanged under the field as high as 9 T,which is similar to that observed in cuprates,and places this system in the middle between the BCS limit and the Bose-Einstein condensation.Teng Wang JiaNan Chu JiaXin Feng LingLing Wang XuGuang Xu Wei Li HaiHu Wen XiaoSong Liu Gang Mu 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,9:1
4Non-integrating lentiviral vectors based on the minimal S/MAR sequence retain transgene expression in dividing cells显示文摘Safe and efficient gene transfer systems are the basis of gene therapy applications. Non-integrating lentiviral(NIL) vectors are among the most promising candidates for gene transfer tools, because they exhibit high transfer efficiency in both dividing and non-dividing cells and do not present a risk of insertional mutagenesis. However, non-integrating lentiviral vectors cannot introduce stable exogenous gene expression to dividing cells, thereby limiting their application. Here, we report the design of a non-integrating lentiviral vector that contains the minimal scaffold/matrix attachment region(S/MAR) sequence(SNIL), and this SNIL vector is able to retain episomal transgene expression in dividing cells. Using SNIL vectors, we detected the expression of the eGFP gene for 61 days in SNIL-transduced stable CHO cells, either with selection or not. In the NIL group without the S/MAR sequence, however, the transduced cells died under selection for the transient expression of NIL vectors. Furthermore,Southern blot assays demonstrated that the SNIL vectors were retained extrachromosomally in the CHO cells. 7Strong Pauli paramagnetic effect in the upper critical field of KCa2Fe4As4F2显示文摘Recently, 12442 system of Fe-based superconductors has attracted considerable attention owing to its unique double-Fe As-layer structure. A steep increase in the in-plane upper critical field with cooling has been observed near the superconducting transition temperature, Tc, in KCa2Fe4As4F2 single crystals. Herein, we report a high-field investigation on upper critical field of this material over a wide temperature range, and both out-of-plane(H∥c, Hc2c) and in-plane(H∥ab, Hc2ab ) directions have been measured.A sublinear temperature-dependent behavior is observed for the out-of-plane Hc2c , whereas strong convex curvature with cooling is observed for the in-plane Hc2ab . Such behaviors could not be described by the conventional Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg(WHH) model. 8Magnetic-field-induced metal-insulator quantum phase transition in CaFeAsF near the quantum limit显示文摘The quantum limit, where only the lowest Landau level is occupied by electrons, can be achieved under a high magnetic field when the Landau level splitting is comparable with the Fermi energy. The rather small Fermi pockets and Fermi energy in CaFeAsF reported recently make this compound a good candidate for investigating the electrical transport near the quantum limit.Here, we report high-field experiments up to 65 T on a single-crystalline CaFeAsF, which shows a metal-insulator quantum phase transition tuned by the out-of-plane magnetic field. The obtained critical exponent zν through the finite-size scaling analysis is very close to 4/3.
