1Effect of Cerium on High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance of 00Cr17NbTi Ferritic Stainless Steel显示文摘The influence of cerium addition on the isothermal oxidation behavior of 00Cr17 NbTi ferritic stainless steel was studied at temperature up to 1,000 °C for 100 h in air. The results show that cerium additions can reduce the grain size of this ferritic stainless steel, improve the diffusion of chromium and decrease the critical concentration of chromium to form protective Cr2O3 layer. With the increasing of cerium addition, the oxide particles become smaller and this can increase the rupture strength and spalling resistance of oxide layers. The transport mechanism through the oxide layer is varied from metal transport outward from steel to principally oxygen transport inward with the increase of cerium content,which leads to the lower oxidation rate and the better scale adherence of 00Cr17 NbTi ferritic stainless steel.Xin Li Jun Shu Liqing Chen Hongyun Bi 2014Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2014,27,3:9
2Lipid analysis of three special nervonic acid resources in China显示文摘Nervonic acid plays an important role in nutrition and function of the human body.Malania oleifera,Acer truncatum and Xanthoceras sorbifolium are China’s unique woody plant rich in nervonic acid in seed oil.This study aims to investigate the lipid composition of these 3 special resources.Their fatty acids were detected by gas chromatography coupled with flame detector(GC-FID).Triglycerides(TAGs)and phospholipids(PLs)were detected by shotgun-mass spectrometry(shotgun-MS).Results showed that M.oleifera oil presented the highest level of nervonic acid(46.20±0.22%)among the 3 oils.Seeds oil of A.truncatum and X.sorbifolium had 3.53±0.20%and 1.83±0.21%nervonic acid respectively.53 species of TAGs and 15 species of PLs were identified in M.oleifera oil,with PLs content of 499.94±22.34μg/g.In A.truncatum oil,PL and TAG species were twice more than those in M.oleifera oil,and its’content of PLs was 76.27±3.21μg/g.In X.sorbifolium oil,75 TAGs and 34 PLs were detected,with the lowest PLs at 23.84±0.17μg/g.The results demonstrated that these 3 vegetable oils have great potential to become nervonic acid supplements for human health.Xinghao Tu Jingya Wan Ya Xie Fang Wei Siewyoung Quek Xin Lv Liqing Du Hong Chen 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:7
3Exploring long-term effects of biochar on mitigating methane emissions from paddy soil:a review显示文摘Biochar has been reported to mitigate short-term methane(CH4)emissions from paddy soil.Currently,CH4 mitigation by biochar has primarily focused on the abundance and variations of methanogens and methanotrophs,and changes in their activities during methane production and consumption.However,long-term effects of biochar on methane mitigation from paddy soil remain controversial.This review overviewed the existing mechanisms for CH4 mitigation as a result of biochar application.In addition,the two existing opinions on the long-term CH4 mitigation effect upon biochar application were highlighted.Combining the already explored mechanisms of fresh biochar on CH4 mitigation from paddy soil and a novel discovery,the potential mechanisms of biochar on long-term methane emission response were proposed.This review also revealed the uncertain responses of biochar on long-term CH4 mitigation.Therefore,to achieve carbon neutral goal,it is important to further explore the mechanisms of long-term CH4 mitigation under biochar application.Qiong Nan Liqing Xin Yong Qin Muhammad Waqas Weixiang Wu 2021Biochar2021,3,2:3

5Design method and experiment of machinery for combined application of seed,fertilizer and herbicide显示文摘This study aimed to resolve the problems of full wheat straw returning to the field,which might readily cause stalk obstruction,poor sowing quality,and serious weeds at the seedling stage,affecting the growth of maize.Based on the idea of“simultaneous seeding and spraying,closed weeding”,this paper presented a design method for designing a corn seed-fertilizer-herbicide simultaneous operation machine,which focuses on the design of vertical active straw-removing anti-blocking device mechanism,design of nozzle key parameters,nozzle selection,seeding monomer analysis and spatial layout design of seed-fertilizer-herbicide mechanism.In addition,the interrelated formulas were deduced and machine design and field experiment were conducted.The experiment results showed that the average variation coefficient of spray uniformity of machines was 17.70%.The post-experiment weed amount was 8.9%,which was lower than that before sowing,8.5%lower than that before artificially closed weeding,and 14.3%lower than that in unenclosed weeding area.Moreover,the weeds were less in the working area of the machine,and the growth of corn was better.Compared with manual closed weeding,the average plant height uniformity and average stem diameter uniformity increased by 4.4%and 5.1%,respectively.Compared with unclosed weeding,the average plant height uniformity and average stem diameter uniformity increased by 18.3%and 10.8%,respectively.Overall,the rationality of the design method proposed in this paper was validated,and these can lay a foundation for the research and development of the same type of machine.Xin Huang Weiwei Wang Zhaodong Li Qingqing Wang Cunxi Zhu Liqing Chen 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4:1
6Cathodoluminescence and Trace Element Composition of Scheelite from the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt(MLYB): Implications for Mineralization and Exploration显示文摘The Middle-Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt(MLYB)is known to contain abundant copper and iron porphyry-skarn deposits,with an increasing number of tungsten deposits and scheelite in Fe-Cu deposits being discovered in the MLYB during recent decades.The ore genesis of the newly-discovered tungsten mineralization in the MLYB is poorly understood.We investigate four sets of scheelite samples from tungsten,iron and copper deposits,using CL imaging and LA-ICP-MS techniques to reveal internal zonation patterns and trace element compositions.The REE distribution patterns of four studied deposits show varying degrees of LREE enrichment with negative Eu anomalies.The oxygen fugacity of ore-forming fluid increased in Donggushan,while the oxygen fugacity of ore-forming fluid decreased in Ruanjiawan,Guilinzheng and Gaojiabang.The scheelites from the Donggushan,Ruanjiawan,Guilinzheng and Gaojiabang deposits show enrichment in LREEs and HFSE,with Nb/La ratios ranging from 1.217 to 52.455,indicating that the four tungsten deposits are enriched in the volatile fluorine.A plot of(La/Lu)N versus Mo/δEu can be used to distinguish quartz vein type,porphyry and skarn tungsten deposits.This study demonstrates that scheelite grains can be used to infer tungsten mineralization and are effective in identifying magmatic types of tungsten deposits in prospective mining sites.NIE Liqing ZHOU Taofa CHEN Xuefeng WANG Fangyue XIAO Xin 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:0
7Knockdown of hepatocyte Perilipin-3 mitigates hepatic steatosis and steatohepatitis caused by hepatocyte CGI-58 deletion in mice显示文摘Comparative gene identification-58(CGI-58),also known asα/βhydrolase domain containing 5,is the co-activator of adipose triglyceride lipase that hydrolyzes triglycerides stored in the cytosolic lipid droplets.Mutations in CGI-58 gene cause Chanarin-Dorfman syndrome(CDS),an autosomal recessive neutral lipid storage disease with ichthyosis.The liver pathology of CDS manifests as steatosis and steatohepatitis,which currently has no effective treatments.Perilipin-3(Plin3)is a member of the Perilipin-ADRP-TIP47 protein family that is essential for lipid droplet biogenesis.The objective of this study was to test a hypothesis that deletion of a major lipid droplet protein alleviates fatty liver pathogenesis caused by CGI-58 deficiency in hepatocytes.Adult CGI-58-floxed mice were injected with adeno-associated vectors simultaneously expressing the Cre recombinase and microRNA against Plin3 under the control of a hepatocyte-specific promoter,followed by high-fat diet feeding for 6 weeks.Liver and blood samples were then collected from these animals for histological and biochemical analysis.Plin3 knockdown in hepatocytes prevented steatosis,steatohepatitis,and necroptosis caused by hepatocyte CGI-58 deficiency.Our work is the first to show that inhibiting Plin3 in hepatocytes is sufficient to mitigate hepatocyte CGI-58 deficiency-induced hepatic steatosis and steatohepatitis in mice.Xinyu Bao Xiaogen Ma Rongfeng Huang Jianghui Chen Haoran Xin Meiyu Zhou Lihua Li Shifei Tong Qian Zhang Guanghou Shui Fang Deng Liqing Yu Min-Dian Li Zhihui Zhang 2022Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2022,14,8:0
8Preliminary techno-economic analysis of three typical decentralized composting technologies treating rural kitchen waste:a case study in China显示文摘This study was designed to evaluate whether the decentralized rural kitchen waste(KW)composting technologies used in China can be widely applied.To this end,we completed a techno-economic analysis of three typical types of KW compositing,namely solar-assisted(SAC),bio-enhanced(BEC),and heat-dewatering composting(HDC).These evaluations revealed that all three technologies produce composting products that meet China’s organic fertilizer standard and that both SAC and BEC are economically self-sustaining and generate net profits(18824.94 and 17791.52 US$/a)and positive net present values(32133.11 and 25035.93 US$).Subsequent sensitivity analysis demonstrated that the KW-handling subsidy plays a critical role in making decentralized composting economically attractive.Based on these analyses,we believe that reducing the coverage area of SAC,reducing the operating cost of BEC and HDC,upgrading composting products,and strengthening secondary pollution control would aid in supporting the technological improvement of these processes.Moreover,providing appropriate subsidies and promulgating specific standards and policies for KW fertilizer are key strategies for decentralized rural KW composting management.Haoshu Wang Yong Qin Liqing Xin Changxun Zhao Zhuang Ma Jian Hu Weixiang Wu 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,4:0
9Bio‐inspired spontaneous splitting of underwater bubbles along a superhydrophobic open pathway without perturbation显示文摘Bubbles are pervasive in aqueous media,and on account of numerous advantages of tiny bubbles,efficient bubble splitting is favorable in a wide range of applications.However,underwater bubble splitting faces a lot of challenges because bubbles tend to coalesce during the rising due to the action of buoyancy and surface energy,and the consumption of considerable external energy is needed.Inspired by the bubble bursting phenomenon on the feathers of high‐speed swimming penguins,we proposed a new bubble splitting strategy based on the energy conversion of bubble transportation on superhydrophobic open pathways.A porous superhydrophobic coating was first developed via a bubbletemplate assisted fabrication method,which provides hierarchical micro/nanostructures and robust air plastron.Gas bubbles can transport along the superhydrophobic open pathways without perturbation,and split into smaller ones by taking advantage of the potential energy contributed by buoyancy.By controlling the superhydrophobic pathway,the size of the split bubbles can be controlled precisely.We also demonstrated that a bubble splitting device could be applied in underwater reactions where an enhanced gas−liquid mass transfer is desired.This bubble splitting strategy may offer new prospects for underwater bubble manipulation and unfold a potential in many bubble‐involved fields.Xin Li Jianqiang Zhang Xuejiao Wang Dong Lv Chunyan Cao Liqing Ai Xi Yao 2022Droplet2022,1,1:0
10Preferential transport activity of Dk DTX5/MATE5 affects the formation of different astringency in persimmon显示文摘Proanthocyanidins(PAs) are specialized metabolites that infuence persimmon fruit quality.Normal astringent(A)-type and non-astringent(NA)-type mutants show significant variation in PA accumulation, but the infuencing mechanism remains unclear. In this study, among the six identified DTXs/MATEs proteins associated with PA accumulation, we observed that allelic variation and preferential transport by Dk DTX5/MATE5 induced variation in PA accumulation for A-type and NA-type fruit. The expression pattern of Dk DTX5/MATE5 was correlated with PA accumulation in NA-type fruit. Upregulation and downregulation of Dk DTX5/MATE5 promoted and inhibited PA accumulation, respectively, in the NA-type fruit. Interestingly, transporter assays of Xenopus laevis oocytes indicated that Dk DTX5/MATE5 preferentially transported the PA precursors catechin, epicatechin, and epicatechin gallate, resulting in their increased ratios relative to the total PAs, which was the main source of variation in PA accumulation between the A-type and NA-type. The allele lacking Ser-84 in Dk DTX5/MATE5 was identified as a dominantly expressed gene in the A-type and lost its transport function. Site-directed mutagenesis revealed that Dk DTX5/MATE5 binds to PA precursors via Ser-84. 11Bionic titania coating carbon multi-layer material derived from natural leaf and its superior photocatalytic performance显示文摘Bionic titania coating carbon multi-layer material was fabricated by employing canna leaves as substrate and carbon precursor. Titania nanocrystals were assembled and coated on the natural films. The carbonation treatment under pure N_2 atmosphere yielded the ultrathin multi-film hybrid material. The carbon layer was coated with small anatase titania crystallite(8–10 nm) and possessed a highly specific surface area of 248.3 m^2 g^(-1). 12Effects of tungsten on the oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength of 18CrNbTi ferritic stainless steel显示文摘18CrNbTi ferritic stainless steel is a low-cost material mainly used for the fabrication of manifolds,which usually work at temperatures below 950 ℃.With the development of engine technology,exhaust manifolds tend to work above 1 000 ℃ and this may be even higher in the future.For developing a new kind of steel to satisfy these requirements,the effects of tungsten(W) addition on the high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance of18 CrNbTi ferritic stainless steel are discussed in this study.The test results show that W enhances high-temperature strength at 1 000 ℃ and significantly improves oxidation resistance.However,W addition tends to degrade oxide layer adhesion,causing spalling during alternate hot and cold conditions.LI Xin BI Hongyun CHEN Liqing 2016Baosteel Technical Research2016,10,4:0
13The effect of cylindrospermopsin on the bacterioplankton community:a microcosm experiment on water from Dishui Lake,Shanghai,China显示文摘Eutrophication and climate warming have intensified the global expansion of invasive cyanobacteria such as Cylindrospermopsis spp.and Chrysosporum spp.Cylindrospermopsin(CYN)produced by species of the latter two genera may harm phytoplankton,zooplankton,and fishes.However,effects of CYN on the bacterioplankton community have not been studied.Based on high-throughput sequencing,we explored the effect of CYN on the structure and function of the bacterioplankton community by adding pure CYN to in-situ water collected from a brackish coastal shallow lake:Dishui Lake,China.We found that most bacterioplankton taxa had a certain tolerance potential to CYN,but that high concentrations of CYN(40μg/L)caused a significant decrease in microbial abundance and functional groups.Of the dominant phyla,Actinobacteria had the strongest tolerance to CYN.Network analysis indicated that CYN caused shifts in the community structure of the bacterioplankton,reducing community stability and structural complexity.High CYN concentrations also reduced the correlation between the different bacterioplankton groups,and the abundances of some bacterial taxa associated with the denitrification function and the process of carbon transfer in the microbial food web were inhibited.Our study provide s new insight into the response of the bacterioplankton communities to harmful algal toxins produced by cyanobacteria.Sicheng YIN Ruohan HUANG Erik JEPPESEN Lijing CHEN Liqing WANG Xin FANG Wei ZHANG 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,5:0
