| 1 | Characterization of hematopoiesis in Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)显示文摘The hematological indices of Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)were investigated in this paper.The results showed that the count of Red blood cell(RBC)was(0.60±0.02)1012/L,and the blood glucose(GLU)was 9.32±1.00 mmol/L.Glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(ALT)and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase(AST)were 13.75±6.65 U/L and 359.50±40.07 U/L,respectively.Smears of peripheral blood and imprints of four tissues were studied in the trial with Wright's staining method.The results indicated that Dabry's sturgeon's blood cells could be divided into five cell types,and included erythroid,granuloid,monocytoid,lymphoid and other cells.In addition,the developmental stage of each cell lineage could be subdivided into:primitive,young and mature.In the three developmental stages,the size of each cell type was similar and gradually decreased from primitive,young to mature blood cells.Among the blood cells,the monoblast and macrophage were the biggest,while the thrombocyte was the smallest.All stages of the primitive cells and young cells were observed in head kidney and all cell types,except granuloblasts,were identified in the head kidney.In contrast,primitive cells and young cells were not observed in the spleen or liver,and few orthochromatic erythroblasts were found in peripheral blood.It can be concluded that head kidney and trunk kidney are the primary organs of hematopoiesis in the Dabry's sturgeon. | Ya Liu Qing Xiao Song Yang Liulan Zhao Hongmei Fu Jun Du Zongjun Du Taiming Yan Hao Wu | 2017 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,6: | 2 |

| 9 | Effects of EMS Treatments on Multiplication and Differentiation of Sugarcane Embryonic Cell Clusters显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the effects of EMS( ethyl methane sulfonate) treatments on multiplication and differentiation of sugarcane embryonic cell clusters. [Method]Sugarcane variety Xintaitang 22( ROC22) was used as the experimental material. After treated with different concentrations of EMS for different time,sugarcane embryonic cell clusters were collected for subculture,differentiation and rooting,to compare and analyze the correlation of different EMS treatments with the multiplication and differentiation of sugarcane embryonic cell clusters. [Result] Treating ROC22 embryonic cell clusters with 0.10%- 0. 15% EMS for 4- 6 h led to the best results,which reached the level of semi-lethal dose. Sugarcane embryonic cell clusters treated with EMS were adopted for subculture; results indicated that browning rate of cell clusters was higher than that in control( CK) but embryonic structure proportion was lower than that in control; in addition,multiplication multiple of sugarcane embryonic cell clusters was also lower than that in control. After treated with EMS,sugarcane embryonic cell clusters exhibited significantly lower bud differentiation rate and higher browning rate compared with control. Furthermore,treating sugarcane embryonic cell clusters with 0. 15% EMS for 2 h was conducive to plantlet emergence and rooting of sugarcane embryonic cell clusters. | 10 | Design and Fabrication of Manual Bone Scaffolds via Rapid Prototyping显示文摘Biomaterials,β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate),and polymeric blends were used on a selective laser sintering (SLS) system,a kind of rapid prototyping machine,to produce some scaffold specimens which were designed with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software according to bone tissue engineering scaffold characteristics and properties. The scaffolds were produced with a pore size 800μm,and regular geometrical cylinder or sphere pores,depending on the processing. Then the specimens were treated by high temperature to assess their suitability on SLS processing. Their microstructures which had been investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) exhibited fully interconnected pore which had a range size 500-800μm. X-ray diffraction analysis performed after high temperature treatment showed that β-TCP did not change. The porosity checked was about 71.29%. | 11 | Study on Major Factors Influencing the Proliferation and Growth of Aseptic Buds of Vietnam Mesona blumes显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the major factors influencing the proliferation and growth of aseptic buds of Vietnam Mesona blumes,thus providing technical references for establishing rapid propagation system in vitro of Vietnam M.blumes.[Method]The effects of medium components(different basic medium,sucrose concentrations and cytokinins)and explant materials(different explants)on the proliferation of aseptic buds of Vietnam M.blumes were analyzed.[Result]Among MS,Miller and modified White basic medium,MS medium exhibited the best effect on proliferation of Vietnam M.blumes buds with the bud proliferation multiple of 8.53.Among different sucrose concentrations,20.0 g/L sucrose gave the highest bud proliferation multiple of 8.34,while 25.0 g/L sucrose led to the best growth status with the bud proliferation multiple of 7.05.The effect of CPPU on bud proliferation was higher than that of 6-BA and KT,with the bud proliferation multiple of 9.80.Among different explants,top stem exhibited the best effect on bud proliferation with the bud proliferation multiple of 9.35,resulting in robust seedlings.[Conclusion]The most suitable subculture medium for the proliferation and growth of aseptic buds of Vietnam M.blumes is MS+20.0-25.0 g/L sucrose+0.5 mg/L CPPU and the most suitable explant is top stem. | Pengxiao WEI Muxiu TAN Xiufen CEN Liulan QIN Jieyun LIU Fangfang ZHOU | 2014 | Agricultural Biotechnology2014,3,3: | 0 |
