Holocene aeolian stratigraphic sequences in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China and their palaeoenvironmental implications显示文摘This paper presents the environmental history and its responses to palaeoclimatic changes since the start of the Holocene in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China by comparing the aeolian sandpalaeosol sequences and their palaeoclimatic proxies. The optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) ages of the aeolian sandpalaeosol sedimentary sequences and a series of palaeoenvironmental proxies show that:(1) The large-scale dune landscape currently in the Kubuqi Sand Sea was formed during the Holocene in general;and the palaeosol was generally developed during the period of 4–2 ka, indicating conditions favorable for vegetation growth, soil development, and organic carbon accumulation due to increased precipitation or effective moisture and weakened aeolian activities;the large-scale expansion of dunes in the recent 2 ka is closely linked to human activities. The variable discharge of the Yellow River with diversions for irrigation may have resulted in a more consistent supply of aeolian particles for dune field expansion.(2) The dune landscape of the Hunshandake Sandy Land was likely formed around 12 ka, and before this, the western part of the Hunshandake Sandy Land would have been covered by a single large lake;it was obviously wetter than today in the sandy land during the period of 9.6–3 ka and the palaeosols were developed at the same time. But the aeolian activities have not been completely dormant in this long-lasting wetter epoch;because the Holocene wetter period was likely time-transgressive across the region.(3) The palaeosol of the Hulunbuir Sandy Land began to develop as early as 14.5 ka, probably continuing until the last 2 ka. The palaeosol development of various dune fields in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China is spatially heterogeneous, and even the palaeosol development time in different locations within each sandy land is inconsistent. During the middle Holocene(especially the 7.5–3.5 ka), all the sandy lands were stabilized in general and the intensity of aeolian activities was significantly weakened. The number of palaeoenvironmental records in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China has increased rapidly in the past decade, but the amount of published data still does not match the vast extent of the dune fields. It does require much more in-depth palaeoenvironmental studies for a full understanding of the relationship between aeolian activities and climate change in northern China. | Xiaoping YANG Peng LIANG Deguo ZHANG Hongwei LI Patrick RIOUAL Xulong WANG Bing XU Zhibang MA Qianqian LIU Xiaozong REN Fangen HU Yuxin HE Gang RAO Ninghua CHEN | 2019 | Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,8: | 10
Contrasting elevational diversity patterns for soil bacteria between two ecosystems divided by the treeline显示文摘Above- and below-ground organisms are closely linked, but how elevational distribution pattern of soil microbes shifting across the treeline still remains unknown. Sampling of 140 plots with transect, we herein investigated soil bacterial distribution pattern from a temperate forest up to a subalpine meadow along an elevational gradient using Illumina sequencing. Our results revealed distinct elevational patterns of bacterial diversity above and below the treeline in responding to changes in soil conditions:a hollow elevational pattern in the forest(correlated with soil temperature, pH, and C:N ratio) and a significantly decreasing pattern in the meadow(correlated with soil pH, and available phosphorus). The bacterial community structure was also distinct between the forest and meadow, relating to soil pH in the forest and soil temperature in the meadow. Soil bacteria did not follow the distribution pattern of herb diversity, but bacterial community structure could be predicted by herb community composition. These results suggest that plant communities have an important influence on soil characteristics, and thus change the elevational distribution of soil bacteria. Our findings are useful for future assessments of climate change impacts on microbial community. | Guixiang Li Guorui Xu Congcong Shen Yong Tang Yuxin Zhang Keming Ma | 2016 | Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,11: | 9
T cells promote the regeneration of neural precursor cells in the hippocampus of Alzheimer's disease mice显示文摘Alzheimer's disease is closely associated with disorders of neurogenesis in the brain, and growing evidence supports the involvement of immunological mechanisms in the development of the disease. However, at present, the role of T cells in neuronal regeneration in the brain is unknown. We injected amyloid-beta 1–42 peptide into the hippocampus of six BALB/c wild-type mice and six BALB/c-nude mice with T-cell immunodeficiency to establish an animal model of Alzheimer's disease. A further six mice of each genotype were injected with same volume of normal saline. Immunohistochemistry revealed that the number of regenerated neural progenitor cells in the hippocampus of BALB/c wild-type mice was significantly higher than that in BALB/c-nude mice. Quantitative fluorescence PCR assay showed that the expression levels of peripheral T cell-associated cytokines(interleukin-2, interferon-γ) and hippocampal microglia-related cytokines(interleukin-1β, tumor necrosis factor-α) correlated with the number of regenerated neural progenitor cells in the hippocampus. These results indicate that T cells promote hippocampal neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease and T-cell immunodeficiency restricts neuronal regeneration in the hippocampus. The mechanism underlying the promotion of neuronal regeneration by T cells is mediated by an increased expression of peripheral T cells and central microglial cytokines in Alzheimer's disease mice. Our findings provide an experimental basis for understanding the role of T cells in Alzheimer's disease. | Jing Liu Yuxin Ma Sumin Tian Li Zhang Mengmeng Zhao Yaqiong Zhang Dachuan Xu | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,16: | 7
cDNA-AFLP profiling for the fiber development stage of secondary cell wall synthesis and transcriptome mapping in cotton显示文摘Cotton fiber strength is mainly determined during the secondary cell wall deposition stage when cel- lulose is synthesized. We obtained cDNA of 20―25 d post anthesis (DPA) fiber from 109 F2 progeny and developed a cotton fiber transcriptome profiling via cDNA-AFLP technology using 37 different primer combinations. The F2 population originated from an interspecific cross between Gossypium hirsutum and Gossypium barbadense. One hundred and thirty-eight absence/presence polymorphic transcript- derived fragments (TDFs), with sizes ranging from 100 bp to 722 bp, were screened. Of these, 75 (53.62%) were polymorphic between the parents of the F2 population. Sequencing the 75 transcripts revealed that 37 of them had been reported to be cotton fiber ESTs. Nine of 75 transcript sequences were homologous to 7 cloned cotton fiber genes, encoding cysteine proteinase, vacuolar H+-pyro- phosphatase, vacuolar H+-ATPase, catalytic subunit, arabinogalactan protein, putative receptor protein kinase PERK1, GIA/RGA-like gibberellin response modulator and cellulose synthase. Some other transcripts may represent new gene fragments in cotton fiber development. Surprisingly, 46 of the 75 transcripts were mapped to a single linkage group. The transcriptome groups and the sequenced TDFs could serve as important resources in the functional genomic research of cotton fiber development. | PAN YuXin MA Jun ZHANG GuiYin HAN GaiYing WANG XingFent MA ZhiYingt | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,17: | 5
Synthesis, bioactivity, action mode and 3D-QSAR of novel anthranilic diamide derivatives显示文摘To study the pesticide effect, action mode, structure-activity relationships (SARs) of anthranilic diamide insecticide and screen highly active pesticides, novel anthranilic diamide derivatives were synthesized.Bioassays indicated that all of the title compounds displayed 100% mortality against diamondback moth and oriental armyworm at 100 mg/L, among which 12 v and 12 w showed 100% insecticidal acitvity at 5 mg/L. Surprisingly compound 12 w exhibited better insecticidal acitvity than commercialized chlorantraniliprole against Pyrausta nubilalis (0.1 mg/L) and Cnaphalocrocis Medinalis (2 mg/L). 3 D-QSAR and SARs statistical analysis revealed that title compounds with R^2 fixed as methoxy had the highest probability possessing high activity. The calcium fluorescence measurements on neurons revealed that E series compounds containing pyrazinyl may have a molecular target different from caffeine on ryanodine receptors rather than the voltage-gated calcium channel present on cytomembran. | Weijie Liu Jiao Li Kai He Fangfang Huang Yi Ma Yuxin Li Qingshan Li Fengbo Xu | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,2: | 4
Antisense expression of Gossypium barbadense UGD6 in Arabidopsis thaliana significantly alters cell wall composition显示文摘Uridine diphosphate-glucose dehydrogenase(UGD,EC1.1.1.22 oxidizes UDP-Glc(UDP-D-glucose)to UDP-Glc A(UDP-Dglucuronate),a critical precursor of cell wall polysaccharides.Gb UGD6 from Gossypium barbadense is more highly expressed late in the elongation of cotton fibers(15 d post-anthesis(DPA))and during the stage of secondary cell wall thickening(30DPA).Subcellular localization analysis in onion epidermis revealed that fluorescently labeled Gb UGD6 protein was distributed throughout the cell membrane,as well as the nucleus and vacuoles.Examination of UGD function in Arabidopsis revealed that the antisense Gb UGD6 lines had shorter roots, deferred blossoming, compared to wild-type plants.Activities of associated enzymes were also affected by UGD reduction, and biochemical analysis of cell wall samples showed an increase in cellulose levels and a decrease in UGP-Glc A contents. The results of the present study as well as previous studies on UGD support the conclusion that UGD plays a major role in synthesizing polysaccharides synthesis in the cell wall. | Jie Han Yuxin Pan Xingfen Wang Yan Zhang Zhiying Ma | 2016 | Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,2: | 4
VisComposer: A Visual Programmable Composition Environment for Information Visualization显示文摘As the amount of data being collected has increased, the need for tools that can enable the visual exploration of data has also grown. This has led to the development of a variety of widely used programming frameworks for information visualization.Unfortunately, such frameworks demand comprehensive visualization and coding skills and require users to develop visualization from scratch. An alternative is to create interactive visualization design environments that require lttle to no programming. However, these tools only supports a small portion of visual formns. We present a programmable integrated development environment(IDE),VisComposer, that supports the development of expressive visualization using a drag and-drop visual interface.Vis-Composer exposes the programmability by customizing desired components within a modular-ized visualization composition pipeline, effectively balancing the capability gap between expert coders and visualization artists. The implemented system empowers users to compose compre-bensive visualizations with real-time preview and optimization features, and supports prototyp-ing,sharing and reuse of the effects by means of an intuitive visual composer.Visual program-ming and textual programming integrated in our system allow users to compose more complex visual effects while retaining the simplicity of use.We demonstrate the performance of VisCom-poser with a variety of examples and an informal user evaluation. | Honghui Mei Wei Chen Yuxin Ma Huihua Guan Wanqi Hu | 2018 | Visual Informatics2018,2,1: | 4
Melatonin alters the secondary metabolite profile of grape berry skin by promoting VvMYB14-mediated ethylene biosynthesis显示文摘The interplay between melatonin and ethylene in the regulation of fruit metabolism and the underlying molecular mechanism of this interplay remain largely unclear. Here, widely targeted metabolomics analysis revealed a total of 464 metabolites present in berry skin.Among them,27 significantly differentially accumulated metabolites(DAMs)were produced in response to melatonin treatment in the presence or absence of 1-MCP.Most of the DAMs were secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, phenolic acids, stilbenes, and flavonols.Additionally, the accumulation of 25 DAMs was regulated by melatonin via ethylene.RNA-seq analysis indicated that melatonin primarily regulated the pathways of plant hormone signal transduction and secondary metabolite biosynthesis via ethylene.Gene-metabolite association analysis showed that melatonin regulated the expression of the VvSTS1,VvF3H,VvLAR2,and VvDFR genes, suggesting that these genes may play key roles in regulating secondary metabolites in the skin;additionally,VvMYB14 and VvACS1 were suggested to be involved in the regulation of secondary metabolites.Further experiments revealed that melatonin induced the expression of VvMYB14 and that VvMYB14 increased ethylene production by transcriptionally activating VvACS1,thereby affecting the accumulation of secondary metabolites.Collectively, melatonin promotes ethylene biosynthesis and alters secondary metabolite accumulation through the regulation of VvACS1 by VvMYB14. | Wanyun Ma Lili Xu Shiwei Gao Xingning Lyu Xiaolei Cao Yuxin Yao | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 4

Homo-PROTAC mediated suicide of MDM2 to treat non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘The dose-related adverse effects of MDM2-P5 3 inhibitors have caused significant concern in the development of clinical safe anticancer agents.Herein we report an unprecedented homo-PROTAC strategy for more effective disruption of MDM2-P53 interaction. The design concept is inspired by the capacity of sub-stoichiometric catalytic PROTACs enabling to degrade an unwanted protein and the dual functions of MDM2 as an E3 ubiquitin ligase and a binding protein with tumor suppressor P53.The new homo-PROTACs are designed to induce self-degradation of MDM2.The results of the investigation have shown that PROTAC 11 a efficiently dimerizes MDM2 with highly competitive binding activity and induces proteasome-dependent self-degradation of MDM2 in A549 non-small cell lung cancer cells.Furthermore, markedly, enantiomer 11 a-1 exhibits potent in vivo antitumor activity in A549 xenograft nude mouse model, which is the first example of homo-PROTAC with in vivo therapeutic potency. This study demonstrates the potential of the homo-PROTAC as an alternative chemical tool for tumorigenic MDM2 knockdown, which could be developed into a safe therapy for cancer treatment. | Shipeng He Junhui Ma Yuxin Fang Ying Liu Shanchao Wu Guoqiang Dong Wei Wang Chunquan Sheng | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6: | 4
Protective effects of Buyinqianzheng Formula on mitochondrial morphology by PINK1/Parkin pathway in SH-SY5Y cells induced by MPP^(+)显示文摘Objective:Buyinqianzheng Formula(BYQZF)is clinically employed in traditional Chinese medicine to treat Parkinson's disease(PD)by improving mitochondrial dysfunction. However, the underlying mechanisms by which BYQZF affects mitochondrial morphology remain unknown. Therefore,we observed the effects of BYQZF on mitochondria from the perspective of the PINK1/Parkin pathway. Methods:Cell survival rates were assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 assay.Expression levels of PINK1 and Parkin mRNA were examined by qRT-PCR.Protein expression levels of PINK1,PINK1-Ser228,Parkin,Parkin-Ser65,Drp1,and Drp1-Ser637 were examined by western blotting.PINK1,Parkin,and MitoTracker?Red CMXRos(MTR)were stained by triple-labeled immunofluorescence, and observed under laser confocal microscopy. Results:Cell survival rate, mitochondrial form factor, mean length and number of mitochondrial network branches, mitochondrial activity,m RNA expression levels of PINK1 and Parkin, and protein expression levels of PINK1,Parkin,and Drp1-Ser637 were reduced after 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium(MPP^(+))intervention.In contrast,Pearson's correlation coefficients between PINK1 and Parkin, and between Parkin and MTR,as well as protein expression levels of PINK1-Ser228,Parkin-Ser65,and Drp1 increased significantly after MPP^(+) intervention.Treatment with BYQZF increased cell survival rate, mitochondrial form factor, mean length and number of mitochondrial network branches, mitochondrial activity,m RNA expression levels of PINK1 and Parkin, and expression of PINK1,Parkin,and Drp1-Ser637 proteins.Pearson's correlation coefficients between PINK1 and Parkin, and between Parkin and MTR,as well as protein expression levels of PINK1-Ser228,Parkin-Ser65,and Drp1 decreased after BYQZF treatment. Conclusion:These results demonstrate that BYQZF has a protective effect on mitochondrial molecular mechanisms in the PD cell model, and the mechanism is related to the PINK1/Parkin pathway. | Haojie Ma Zhenyu Guo Cong Gai Cuicui Cheng Jinkun Zhang Yuxin Zhang Luping Yang Wandi Feng Yushan Gao Hongmei Sun | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,3: | 3

Nucleic acids and analogs for bone regeneration显示文摘With the incidence of different bone diseases increasing, effective therapies are needed that coordinate a combination of various technologies and biological materials. Bone tissue engineering has also been considered as a promising strategy to repair various bone defects. Therefore, different biological materials that can promote stem cell proliferation, migration, and osteoblastic differentiation to accelerate bone tissue regeneration and repair have also become the focus of research in multiple fields. Stem cell therapy, biomaterial scaffolds, and biological growth factors have shown potential for bone tissue engineering; however, off-target effects and cytotoxicity have limited their clinical use. The application of nucleic acids(deoxyribonucleic acid or ribonucleic acid)and nucleic acid analogs(peptide nucleic acids or locked nucleic acids), which are designed based on foreign genes or with special structures, can be taken up by target cells to exert different effects such as modulating protein expression, replacing a missing gene, or targeting specific gens or proteins. Due to some drawbacks, nucleic acids and nucleic acid analogs are combined with various delivery systems to exert enhanced effects, but current studies of these molecules have not yet satisfied clinical requirements. In-depth studies of nucleic acid or nucleic acid analog delivery systems have been performed, with a particular focus on bone tissue regeneration and repair. In this review, we mainly introduce delivery systems for nucleic acids and nucleic acid analogs and their applications in bone repair and regeneration. At the same time, the application of conventional scaffold materials for the delivery of nucleic acids and nucleic acid analogs is also discussed. | Yuxin Zhang Wenjuan Ma Yuxi Zhan Chenchen Mao Xiaoru Shao Xueping Xie Xiawei Wei Yunfeng Lin | 2018 | Bone Research2018,6,4: | 3
Effects of plant coverage on shrub fertile islands in the Upper Minjiang River Valley显示文摘The patchy distribution of vegetation in dry land results in well-documented 'fertile islands'. However, the response of shrub fertile islands to plant recovery and the underlying mechanisms, such as the linkage plant and soil properties, remain unknown. We sampled soils from areas with three different plant coverages(25%, 45%, and 75%) and three of their adjacent inter-plants to investigate soil physicochemical and microbial properties in the upper Minjiang River arid valley. The results showed that these factors were influenced by the persistence of plants that contrasted with the inter-plant interspaces. We found fertile islands in under-plant soil that were enhanced with increasing plant coverage, from 25% to 45% and 75%; however, there were no significant differences between 45% and 75% plant coverage apart from the soil clay content and the fungi to bacteria ratio. The soil microbial communities in under-plant soil were strongly influenced by the total soil carbon(TC), soil organic carbon(SOC),and available nitrogen(AN), whereas the microbial communities in inter-plant soil were primarily constrained by the AN and available phosphorous(AP). Moreover, the inter-plant soil properties, including gravimetric soil water content, pH, electrical conductivity(EC), and soil C:N ratio, were also strongly influenced by adjacent vegetation, which suggested that fertile islands may be beneficial for plant recovery in this region. | Laiye Qu Zhongbin Wang Yuanyuan Huang Yuxin Zhang Chengjun Song Keming Ma | 2018 | Science China(Life Sciences)2018,61,3: | 3
Multi?targeted Antisense Oligonucleotide Delivery by a Framework Nucleic Acid for Inhibiting Biofilm Formation and Virulence显示文摘Biofilm formation is responsible for numerous chronic infections and represents a serious health challenge.Bacteria and the extracellular polysaccharides(EPS)cause biofilms to become adherent, toxic, resistant to antibiotics, and ultimately difficult to remove.Inhibition of EPS synthesis can prevent the formation of bacterial biofilms, reduce their robustness, and promote removal. Here,we have developed a framework nucleic acid delivery system with a tetrahedral configuration. It can easily access bacterial cells and functions by delivering antisense oligonucleotides that target specific genes. We designed antisense oligonucleotide sequences with multiple targets based on conserved regions of the VicK protein-binding site.Once delivered to bacterial cells, they significantly decreased EPS synthesis and biofilm thickness.Compared to existing approaches, this system is highly efficacious because it simultaneously reduces the expression of all targeted genes(gtfBCD,gbpB,ftf). We demonstrate a novel nucleic acid-based nanomaterial with multi-targeted inhibition that has great potential for the treatment of chronic infections caused by biofilms. | Yuxin Zhang Xueping Xie Wenjuan Ma Yuxi Zhan Chenchen Mao Xiaoru Shao Yunfeng Lin | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,6: | 3
SuperFusion: A Versatile Image Registration and Fusion Network with Semantic Awareness显示文摘Image fusion aims to integrate complementary information in source images to synthesize a fused image comprehensively characterizing the imaging scene. However, existing image fusion algorithms are only applicable to strictly aligned source images and cause severe artifacts in the fusion results when input images have slight shifts or deformations. In addition, the fusion results typically only have good visual effect, but neglect the semantic requirements of high-level vision tasks. This study incorporates image registration, image fusion, and semantic requirements of high-level vision tasks into a single framework and proposes a novel image registration and fusion method, named Super Fusion. Specifically, we design a registration network to estimate bidirectional deformation fields to rectify geometric distortions of input images under the supervision of both photometric and end-point constraints. The registration and fusion are combined in a symmetric scheme, in which while mutual promotion can be achieved by optimizing the naive fusion loss, it is further enhanced by the mono-modal consistent constraint on symmetric fusion outputs. In addition, the image fusion network is equipped with the global spatial attention mechanism to achieve adaptive feature integration. Moreover, the semantic constraint based on the pre-trained segmentation model and Lovasz-Softmax loss is deployed to guide the fusion network to focus more on the semantic requirements of high-level vision tasks. Extensive experiments on image registration, image fusion, and semantic segmentation tasks demonstrate the superiority of our Super Fusion compared to the state-of-the-art alternatives. The source code and pre-trained model are publicly available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asqfbp5nncpu6x6xfq.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/Linfeng-Tang/Super Fusion. | Linfeng Tang Yuxin Deng Yong Ma Jun Huang Jiayi Ma | 2022 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,12: | 3
EasySVM: A visual analysis approach for open-box support vector machines显示文摘Support vector machines(SVMs) are supervised learning models traditionally employed for classification and regression analysis. In classification analysis, a set of training data is chosen, and each instance in the training data is assigned a categorical class. An SVM then constructs a model based on a separating plane that maximizes the margin between different classes. Despite being one of the most popular classification models because of its strong performance empirically, understanding the knowledge captured in an SVM remains difficult. SVMs are typically applied in a black-box manner where the details of parameter tuning, training, and even the final constructed model are hidden from the users. This is natural since these details are often complex and difficult to understand without proper visualization tools. However, such an approach often brings about various problems including trial-and-error tuning and suspicious users who are forced to trust these models blindly. The contribution of this paper is a visual analysis approach for building SVMs in an open-box manner. Our goal is to improve an analyst's understanding of the SVM modeling process through a suite of visualization techniques that allow users to have full interactive visual control over the entire SVM training process. Our visual exploration tools have been developed to enable intuitive parameter tuning, training datamanipulation, and rule extraction as part of the SVM training process. To demonstrate the efficacy of our approach, we conduct a case study using a real-world robot control dataset. | Yuxin Ma Wei Chen Xiaohong Ma Jiayi Xu Xinxin Huang Ross Maciejewski Anthony K.H.Tung | 2017 | Computational Visual Media2017,3,2: | 2
Principles to tailor the saturable and reverse saturable absorption of epsilon-near-zero material显示文摘Indium tin oxide(ITO) films have recently emerged as a new class of functional materials for nonlinear optical(NLO) devices due to their exotic properties around epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) wavelength. Here, we experimentally investigated and tailored the NLO absorption properties of ITO films. The NLO absorption response of ITO films is investigated by using the femtosecond Z-scan measurement technique at two different wavelengths of 1030 nm(out of ENZ region) and 1440 nm(within ENZ region). Interestingly, we observed conversion behavior from saturable absorption(SA) to reverse saturable absorption(RSA) at 1030 nm with the increasing incident laser intensity, whereas only SA behavior was observed at 1440 nm. We demonstrate that SA behavior was ascribed to ground-state free electrons bleaching in the conduction band, and RSA was attributed to three-photon absorption. Moreover, results reveal that ITO film shows more excellent SA performance at 1440 nm with a nonlinear absorption coefficient of ~-23.2 cm∕GW and a figure of merit of ~1.22 × 10^(-16) esu · cm.Furthermore, we tailored the SA and RSA behaviors of ITO films at 1030 and 1440 nm wavelengths via post-annealing treatment. The modulatable NLO absorption was ascribed to the changing of free-carrier concentration in ITO films via annealing treatment. The experimental findings offered an inroad for researchers to tailor its NLO absorption properties by changing the free-carrier concentration through chemical modification such as annealing, oxidation, or defect implantation. The superior and tunable nonlinear optical response suggests that ITO film might be employed as a new class material with potential applications in novel optical switches or optical limiters to realize the all-optical information process. | HAO MA YUANAN ZHAO YUCHEN SHAO YAFEI LIAN WEILI ZHANG GUOHANG HU YUXIN LENG JIANDA SHAO | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,5: | 2
Effect of hydrogen charging on microstructural evolution and corrosion behavior of Ti-4Al-2V-1Mo-1Fe alloy显示文摘The effect of hydro gen charging on microstructural evolution and corrosion behavior of a Ti-4Al-2V-1Mo-1Fe alloy in a 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution was investigated. The results showed that the hydrogen charging induced the formation and growth of γ-TiH and δ-TiH_(2) phases, leading to the initiation and propagation of hydrogen-induced cracks. It was also found that hydrogen charging can change the passivity of this alloy and increase its pitting corrosion susceptibility. The main reason for these was attributed to the fo rmation of hydrides in α phase in the Ti-4Al-2V-1Mo-1Fe alloy, leading to the preferential dissolution of the α phase and thus the deterioration in the protective ability of passive film. | Yanxin Qiao Daokui Xu Shuo Wang Yingjie Ma Jian Chen Yuxin Wang Huiling Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,1: | 2
The biological applications of DNA nanomaterials:current challenges and future directions显示文摘DNA,a genetic material, has been employed in different scientific directions for various biological applications as driven by DNA nanotechnology in the past decades, including tissue regeneration, disease prevention, inflammation inhibition, bioimaging, biosensing, diagnosis, antitumor drug delivery, and therapeutics. With the rapid progress in DNA nanotechnology, multitudinous DNA nanomaterials have been designed with different shape and size based on the classic Watson–Crick base-pairing for molecular self-assembly.Some DNA materials could functionally change cell biological behaviors, such as cell migration, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, autophagy, and anti-inflammatory effects. Some single-stranded DNAs(ssDNAs)or RNAs with secondary structures via self-pairing,named aptamer, possess the ability of targeting, which are selected by systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment(SELEX)and applied for tumor targeted diagnosis and treatment. Some DNA nanomaterials with three-dimensional(3D)nanostructures and stable structures are investigated as drug carrier systems to delivery multiple antitumor medicine or gene therapeutic agents. While the functional DNA nanostructures have promoted the development of the DNA nanotechnology with innovative designs and preparation strategies, and also proved with great potential in the biological and medical use, there is still a long way to go for the eventual application of DNA materials in real life. Here in this review,we conducted a comprehensive survey of the structural development history of various DNA nanomaterials, introduced the principles of different DNA nanomaterials, summarized their biological applications in different fields, and discussed the current challenges and further directions that could help to achieve their applications in the future. | Wenjuan Ma Yuxi Zhan Yuxin Zhang Chenchen Mao Xueping Xie Yunfeng Lin | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11: | 2
