1Trace element geochemistry during chemical weathering——As exemplified by the weathered crust of granite, Longnan, Jiangxi显示文摘The granite weathering in Longnan, Jiangxi, is represented by mineralogical changes of feldspars · montmorillonite, illite · kaolinite, halloysite · bauxite, with Na, Ca, Si, P, V, U and Sr being in a mobile state while Ti, Al, Fe, Sc, Th, Zr and Hf remaining relatively conservative. With the exception of Zr/Hf, Nb/Ta, Th/Sc, Zr/Nd and Sm/Nb, changes are notable in ratios between most of the trace elements. 2Moving finite element methods for time fractional partial differential equations显示文摘With the aim of simulating the blow-up solutions, a moving finite element method, based on nonuniform meshes both in time and in space, is proposed in this paper to solve time fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs). The unconditional stability and convergence rates of 2-α for time and r for space are proved when the method is used for the linear time FPDEs with α-th order time derivatives. 8Chemical weathering crust: A long-term storage of elements and its implications for sediment provenance显示文摘RAKE earth element (REE) and other trace element distributions in fine grained detrital sediments are widely used to characterize source composition of sediments, but ambiguities remain concerning theresponse of sediment composition (e.g. REEs) to provenance characteristics. 9MicroRNA-activated hydrogel scaffold generated by 3D printing accelerates bone regeneration显示文摘Bone defects remain a major threat to human health and bone tissue regeneration has become a prominent clinical demand worldwide.The combination of microRNA(miRNA)therapy with 3D printed scaffolds has always posed a challenge.It can mimic physiological bone healing processes,in which a biodegradable scaffold is gradually replaced by neo-tissue,and the sustained release of miRNA plays a vital role in creating an optimal osteogenic microenvironment,thus achieving promising bone repair outcomes.However,the balance between two key factors-scaffold degradation behavior and miRNA release profile-on osteogenesis and bone formation is still poorly understood.Herein,we construct a series of miRNA-activated hydrogel scaffolds(MAHSs)generated by 3D printing with different crosslinking degree to screened the interplay between scaffold degradation and miRNA release in the osteoinduction activity both in vitro and in vivo.Although MAHSs with a lower crosslinking degree(MAHS-0 and MAHS-0.25)released a higher amount of miR-29b in a sustained release profile,they degraded too fast to provide prolonged support for cell and tissue ingrowth.On the contrary,although the slow degradation of MAHSs with a higher crosslinking degree(MAHS-1 and MAHS-2.5)led to insufficient release of miR-29b,their adaptable degradation rate endowed them with more efficient osteoinductive behavior over the long term.MAHS-1 gave the most well-matched degradation rate and miR-29b release characteristics and was identified as the preferred MAHSs for accelerated bone regeneration.This study suggests that the bio-adaptable balance between scaffold degradation behavior and bioactive factors release profile plays a critical role in bone regeneration.These findings will provide a valuable reference about designing miRNAs as well as other bioactive molecules activated scaffold for tissue regeneration.Ting Pan Wenjing Song Hongbao Xin Haiyue Yu He Wang Dandan Ma Xiaodong Cao Yingjun Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2
10Monodomain Liquid Crystals of Two-Dimensional Sheets by Boundary-Free Sheargraphy显示文摘Eliminating topological defects to achieve monodomain liquid crystals is highly significant for the fundamental studies of soft matter and building long-range ordered materials.However,liquid crystals are metastable and sensitive to external stimuli,such as flow,confinement,and electromagnetic fields,which cause their intrinsic polycrystallinity and topological defects.Here,we achieve the monodomain liquid crystals of graphene oxide over 30 cm through boundary-free sheargraphy.The obtained monodomain liquid crystals exhibit large-area uniform alignment of sheets,which has the same optical polarized angle and intensity.The monodomain liquid crystals provide bidirectionally ordered skeletons,which can be applied as lightweight thermal management materials with bidirectionally high thermal and electrical conductivity.Furthermore,we extend the controllable topology of two-dimensional colloids by introducing singularities and disclinations in monodomain liquid crystals.Topological structures with defect strength from−2 to+2 were realized.This work provides a facile methodology to study the structural order of soft matter at a macroscopic level,facilitating the fabrication of metamaterials with tunable and highly anisotropic architectures.Min Cao Senping Liu Qingli Zhu Ya Wang Jingyu Ma Zeshen Li Dan Chang Enhui Zhu Xin Ming Yingjun Liu Yanqiu Jiang Zhen Xu Chao Gao 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:2
11Study on Synthesis of Mesoporous M-MCM-48(M=Zr,Mg) and Its Activity for Isomerization of n-Heptane显示文摘The mesoporous materials supported zirconium(Zr-MCM-48) and magnesium(Mg-MCM-48) with three-dimensional pore structures and different Zr or Mg contents were prepared via the hydrothermal method, respectively. The prepared samples were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), NH_3 temperature programmed desorption(NH_3-TPD) and N_2 adsorption-desorption. The XRD, TEM and N_2 adsorption-desorption results suggested that M-MCM-48(where M = Zr, Mg) samples still maintained typical cubic mesoporous framework of MCM-48, with slight decrease of specific surface areas and mesopore orders. The isomerization of n-heptane was carried out as a probe reaction at various factors including the zirconium or magnesium content, reaction time, reaction temperature and weight hourly space velocity(WHSV). Preliminary results demonstrated that the Mg-MCM-48 catalyst exhibited a higher catalytic activity with a maximum heptane conversion of 91.5% and a corresponding isomerization selectivity of 72.3% as compared to that of ZrMCM-48. However, the catalytic stability of Mg-MCM-48 for n-heptane isomerization was poorer than Zr-MCM-48, because the Mg-MCM-48 catalyst could maintain a relatively high catalytic activity for only 130 min, while the Zr-MCM-48 catalyst could maintain a relatively high catalytic activity for more than 190 min without any obvious decrease in performance.Wang Yingjun Dong Xiuli Ma Shoutao Wang Jian Li Xiaoqing Suo Yanhua Zhang Wei 2018China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2018,20,3:2
