| 1 | 炎症和老化在年龄相关性黄斑变性和葡萄膜黑色素瘤中的作用显示文摘许多眼科疾病在中老年人群中的患病率高于其他年龄组,随着全球老龄化社会的到来,眼科医师面临着年龄相关性眼病疾病谱迅速扩大的挑战,加强年龄相关性眼病的预防对于中老年人的健康有着重要意义。因此,了解年龄相关性黄斑变性(AMD)、青光眼和葡萄膜黑色素瘤易在老年人中发病的原因至关重要。我们先前的动物实验研究表明,正常的老化过程伴随着炎症反应,这种反应增加了眼部疾病发病的风险,而加重炎症反应的环境因素是吸烟。目前已发现炎症参与AMD的发病和进展,并且可能在青光眼、葡萄膜黑色素瘤的病理过程中发挥作用,巨噬细胞和淋巴细胞增加了肿瘤转移的风险。一些实验研究也表明,巨噬细胞在脉络膜/视网膜炎症、眼内肿瘤等疾病中发挥关键作用。巨噬细胞分为M1型和M2型,前者刺激特异性免疫反应,后者可刺激血管的生成。在机体老化过程中,M1型的功能可以向M2型转化,从而可能促进AMD和肿瘤的进展。深入研究巨噬细胞的特性有助于老化过程的干预和年龄相关性眼病的预防。 | Martine J. | 2 | Impact of Si on the high-temperature oxidation of AlCr(Si)N coatings显示文摘The resistance of wear protective coatings against oxidation is crucial for their use at high temperatures.Here,three nanocomposite AlCr(Si)N coatings with a fixed Al/Cr atomic ratio of 70/30 and a varying Si-content of 0 at.%,2.5 at.% and 5 at.% were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry,thermogravimetric analysis and X-ray in order to understand the oxidation behavior depending on their Si-content.Additionally,a partially oxidized AlCrSiN coating with 5 at.%Si on a sapphire substrate was studied across the coating thickness by depth-resolved cross-sectional X-ray nanodiffraction and scanning trans-mission electron microscopy to investigate the elemental composition,morphology,phases and residual stress evolution of the oxide scale and the non-oxidized coating underneath.The results reveal enhanced oxidation properties of the AlCr(Si)N coatings with increasing Si-content,as demonstrated by a retarded onset of oxidation to higher temperatures from 1100℃ for AlCrN to 1260℃ for the Si-containing coatings and a simultaneous deceleration of the oxidation process.After annealing of the AlCrSiN sample with5 at.%Si at an extraordinary high temperature of 1400℃ for 60 min in ambient air,three zones developed throughout the coating strongly differing in their composition and structure:(i)a dense oxide layer comprising an Al-rich and a Cr-rich zone formed at the very top,followed by(ii)a fine-grained transition zone with incomplete oxidation and(iii)a non-oxidized zone with a porous structure.The varying elemental composition of these zones is furthermore accompanied by micro-structural variations and a complex residual stress development revealed by cross-sectional X-ray nanodiffraction.The results provide a deeper understanding of the oxidation behavior of AlCr(Si)N coatings depending on their Si-content and the associated elemental,microstructural and residual stress evolution during high-temperature oxidation. | Nikolaus Jager Michael Meindlhumer Michal Zitek Stefan Spor Hynek Hruby Farwah Nahif Jaakko Julin Martin Rosenthal Jozef Keckes Christian Mitterer Rostislav Daniel | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,5: | 0 |

| 5 | Effect of Cognitive Impairment on Driving-Relevant Cognition in Older Persons显示文摘Intact cognitive abilities are fundamental for driving. Driving-relevant cognition may be affected in older drivers due to aging or cognitive impairment. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of cognitive impairment on driving-relevant cognition in older persons. Performance in selective and divided attention, eye-hand-coordination, executive functions and the ability to regulate distance and speed of 18 older persons with CI-Group (cognitive impairment group) was compared to performance of older control group (18 age and gender-matched cognitively normal subjects) and young control group (18 gender-matched young subjects). The CI-Group showed poorer performance than the other two control groups in all cognitive tasks (significance level (p) 〈 0.001, effect size (partial r/e) = 0.63). Differences between cognitively impaired and cognitively normal subjects were still significant after controlling for age (effect sizes from 0.14 to 0.28). Dual tasking affected performance of cognitively impaired subjects more than performance of the other two groups (p = 0.016, partial η2 = 0.14). Results show that cognitive impairment has age-independent detrimental effects on selective and divided attention, eye-hand-coordination, executive functions and the ability to regulate distance and speed.
