| 1 | Elevated pro-inflammatory and lipotoxic mucosal lipids characterise irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘AIM:To investigate the pathophysiology of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)by comparing the global mucosal metabolic profiles of IBS patients with those of healthy controls.METHODS:Fifteen IBS patients fulfilling the Rome Ⅱcriteria,and nine healthy volunteers were included in the study.A combined lipidomics(UPLC/MS)and metabolomics(GC×GC-TOF)approach was used to achieve global metabolic profiles of mucosal biopsies from the ascending colon.RESULTS:Overall,lipid levels were elevated in patients with IBS.The most significant upregulation was seen for pro-inflammatory lysophosphatidylcholines.Other lipid groups that were significantly upregulated in IBS patients were lipotoxic ceramides,glycosphingolipids,and di-and triacylglycerols.Among the metabolites,the cyclic ester 2(3H)-furanone was almost 14-fold upregulated in IBS patients compared to healthy subjects(P=0.03).CONCLUSION:IBS mucosa is characterised by a distinct pro-inflammatory and lipotoxic metabolic profile.Especially,there was an increase in several lipid species such as lysophospholipids and ceramides. | Kajsa Kajander Eveliina Myllyluoma Sinikka Kyrnpalo Martin Rasmussen Pentti Sipponen Ismo Mattila Tuulikki Seppnen-Laakso Heikki Vapaatalo Matej Orei Riitta Korpela | 2009 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2009，15，48： | 5 |
| 2 | One Novel Hydraulic Actuating System for the Lower-Body Exoskeleton显示文摘The hydraulic exoskeleton is one research hotspot in the field of robotics,which can take heavy load due to the high power density of the hydraulic system.However,the traditional hydraulic system is normally centralized,inefficient,and bulky during application,which limits its development in the exoskeleton.For improving the robot's performance,its hydraulic actuating system should be optimized further.In this paper a novel hydraulic actuating system(HAS)based on electric-hydrostatic actuator is proposed,which is applied to hip and knee joints.Each HAS integrates an electric servo motor,a high-speed micro pump,a specific tank,and other components into a module.The specific parameters are obtained through relevant simulation according to human motion data and load requirements.The dynamic models of the HAS are built,and validated by the system identification.Experiments of trajectory tracking and human-exoskeleton interaction are carried out,which demonstrate the proposed HAS has the ability to be applied to the exoskeleton.Compared with the previous prototype,the total weight of the HAS in the robot is reduced by about 40%,and the power density is increased by almost 1.6 times. | Maowen Sun Xiaoping Ouyang Jouni Mattila Huayong Yang Gang Hou | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021，34，1： | 4 |

| 5 | Faecal microbiota transplantation in patients with Clostridium difficile and significant comorbidities as well as in patients with new indications:A case series显示文摘Fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) is effective in recurrent Clostridium difficile infection(r CDI). Knowledge of the safety and efficacy of FMT treatment in immune deficient patients is scarce. FMT has been suggested as a potential method for an increasing number of new indications besides r CDI. Among our FMT-treated r CDI patients, we reviewed those with major comorbidities: two human immunodeficiency virus patients, six haemodialysis patients, two kidney transplant patients, two liver transplant patients and a patient with chronic lymphatic leukaemia. We also reviewed those treated with FMT for indications other than r CDI: Salmonella carriage(two patients), trimethylaminuria(two patients), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth(SIBO;one patient), and lymphocytic colitis(one patient), as well as a common variable immunodeficiency patient with chronic norovirus infection and ESBL-producing Escherichia coli(E. coli) carriage. Of the thirteen r CDI patients treated with FMT, eleven cleared the CDI. The observed adverse events were not directly attributable to FMT. Concerning the special indications, both Salmonellas and ESBL-producing E. coli were eradicated. One trimethylaminuria patient and one SIBO-patient reported a reduction of symptoms. Three patients did not experience a benefit from FMT: chronic norovirus, lymphocytic colitis and the other fish malodour syndrome. There were no reported side effects in this group. FMT appeared to be safe and effective for immunocompromised patients with r CDI. | 7 | Prevalence of lactase persistent/non-persistent genotypes and milk consumption in a young population in north-west Russia显示文摘AIM:To estimate the prevalence of the lactase non-persistent genotype(C/C-13910)in a northern Russian population in accordance with ethnicity,and to evaluate self-reported milk consumption depending on lactase activity. METHODS:Blood samples for genotyping lactase activity,defining the C/T-13910 variant by polymerase chain reaction,and direct sequencing were taken from 231 medical students of Russian origin aged 17-26 years. We analyzed milk product consumption by questionnaire which was specially designed for the estimation of milk consumption and abdominal complaints.
