1METAMORPHIC MECHANISMSAND THEIR CONFIGURATION MODELS显示文摘The concept of metamorphic mechanisms is presented, configuration models and configuration transformations relating to a set of new matrix operations are discussed and proposed. The configuration of a metamorphic mechanism reflects the connectivity change in the mechanism during motions which results in mobility change and presents the characteristics of the mechanism which is discussed in various applications particularly in decorative artifacts. 4High molecular weight (C_(35)^+) n-alkanes of Neogene heavily biodegraded oil in the Qianmiqiao region,North China显示文摘With wax content of 1.62%, heavy oil has been produced from the sandstone reservoirs of Neogene Guantao Formation (Ng1m). In the GC and GC-MS RIC profiles of its aliphatic fraction, n-alkanes are totally lost, which shows the result of heavy biodegradedation. However, the remaining trace C13-C36 n-alkanes can be still seen from its mlz 85 mass chromatogram. In addition, a complete series of C35-C73 high molecular weight (HMW) n-alkanes was detected by high-temperature gas chromatography (HTGC). The HMW R-alkane series shows a normal distribution pattern, a major peak at nC43, obvious odd-carbon-number predominance, CPI37-55 and OEP45-49 values up to 1.17 and 1.16-1.20 respectively. The present study not only has conformed the strong resistibility of HMW n-alkanes to biodegradation in crude oils as concluded by previous researchers, but also has provided some significant information on source input and maturity for the heavily biodegraded oil in the Qianmiqiao region.WANG Tieguan (T.-G. 5Tensile properties and fracture behavior of Ti_2AlNb based alloys at room temperature显示文摘The tensile mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of Ti 22Al 20Nb 7Ta alloys were studied at room temperature. Three typical microstructures of Ti 2AlNb based alloys were obtained by combination of thermal mechanical processing and heat treat ment. They are: 1) lath mixture of O + B 2 with remaining β grain boundaries and α 2 phase; 2) equiaxed O phase in B 2 matrix; 3) fine lath mixture of O + B 2 without remaining β grain boundaries. It is shown that the microstructure obviously affects the tensile properties of Ti 2AlNb based alloys. The microstructure of fine lath mixture of O + B 2 without remaining β grain boundaries has good combination of yield stress and ductility, while the microstructure with lath mixture of O + B 2 with remaining β grain boundaries and α 2 phase has low yield stress and elongation. The fracture mode was also controlled by the microstructure of Ti 2AlNb based alloys. 6Novel Manufacturing Technology of Hyperbolic Plates for Shipbuilding显示文摘On the basis of the principle of dieless hydrobulging technology, a novel hydrobulging technology for manufacturinghyperbolic plates is proposed. First, a toroidal pipe elbow or a partial toroidal pipe elbow is formed, then the single hydrobulgedstructure can be cut up into some desired plates. 9Orientation angle rotatability of planar serial n-link manipulators显示文摘This paper presents a new method of analyzing the orientation angle rotatability of a planar serial n-link manipulator by examining the rotatability of its virtual equivalent mechanism.Workspace orientation boundary region decomposition is proposed based on the polynomial discriminant derived from a serial three-link manipulator.Orientation angle workspace indicates a set of angle ranges by which the end-effector can reach with certain orientation for every point in the reachable position workspace.By introducing a virtual equivalent mechanism,the open-chain kinematic problem is converted into a close-chain mechanism,and the Grashof-type condition is used to examine the rotatability of the end-effector link.The reachable position workspace can be divided into several Grashof intervals and non-Grashof intervals based on the extreme positions and singular configurations of a manipulator.The derived equations in this paper can be used to calculate the variation rule of the orientation angle workspace of any given planar serial n-link manipulator on the basis of its link parameters.The orientation angle rotatability of a seven-link serial manipulator is solved by the proposed method and graphical representations of the orientation angle workspaces are mapped onto a three-dimensional coordinate system.The theoretical approach has practical significance for the design of a highly dexterous serial n-link manipulator with proposed link relations.LI RuiQin1,XIAO DengHong1 & DAI Jian S2 1 College of Mechanical Engineering and Automation,North University of China,Taiyuan 030051,China 2 Department of Mechanical Engineering,King’s College London,University of London,London WC2R 2LS,UK 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,6:2
