1A hydrocarbon enrichment model and prediction of favorable accumulation areas in complicated superimposed basins in China显示文摘The geologic conditions of superimposed basins in China are very complicated. This is mainly shown by multi-phase structural evolution,multiple sets of source-reservoir-cap rock combinations,multiple stages of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion from source rocks,multi-cycle hydrocarbon enrichment and accumulation,and multi-phase reservoir adjustment and reconstruction. The enrichment,accumulation and distribution of hydrocarbon is mainly controlled by the source rock kitchen,paleoanticline,regional cap rock and intensity of tectonic movement. In this paper,the T-BCMS model has been developed to predict favorable areas of hydrocarbon accumulation in complicated superimposed basins according to time and spatial relationships among five key factors. The five factors include unconformity surface representing tectonic balancing(B) ,regional cap rock representing hydrocarbon protection(C) ,paleo-anticline representing hydrocarbon migration and accumulation(M) ,source rock kitchen representing hydrocarbon generation and expulsion(S) and geological time(T) . There are three necessary conditions to form favorable areas of hydrocarbon accumulation. First,four key factors BCMS should be strictly in the order of BCMS from top to bottom. Second,superimposition of four key factors BCMS in the same area is the most favorable for hydrocarbon accumulation. Third,vertically ordered combination and superimposition in the same area of BCMS should occur at the same geological time. The model has been used to predict the most favorable exploration areas in Ordovician in the Tarim Basin in the main hydrocarbon accumulation periods. The result shows that 95% of the discovered Ordovician hydrocarbon reservoirs are located in the predicted areas,which indicates the feasibility and reliability of the key factor matching T-BCMS model for hydrocarbon accumulation and enrichment.Pang Xiongqi Meng Qingyang Jiang Zhenxue Liu Luofu Lu Xiuxiang 2010Petroleum Science2010,7,1:16

4Summer habitat selection and impacts of human disturbance on leopard cats(Prionailurus bengalensis)显示文摘Introduction:As a consequence of habitat loss and degradation,the leopard cat(Prionailurus bengalensis)in China has become endangered and in need of urgent protection.In situ conservation of leopard cats must be based on an understanding of their habitat selection patterns.We studied the summer habitat of leopard cats using line-transect surveys in the northern Taihang Mountain region surrounding Beijing,China.We compared used plots with non-used plots in elevation,tree canopy,and 20 other ecological variables,and used Vanderploeg��Scavia’s resource selection index(VSI)to analyze habitat preferences.Outcomes/others:Results show that tree canopy,tree height,tree density,and stump quantity of used plots were significantly lower than non-used plots in summer,and that leopard cats preferred habitats located on northern,flat slopes with lower slope,shrub-dominated,dry soil,and less fallen-wood.Leopard cats had a strong tendency to use habitats near human disturbance areas with moderate levels of disturbance intensity.Conclusion:The results suggest that future conservation efforts should emphasize:(1)strengthening the protection and management of forest fringe shrub habitats to improve summer habitat suitability,and(2)environmental education and animal protection campaigns to promote community biodiversity conservation.Jiayi Wu Jing Wang Yinjiu Zhu Xiangli Bu Rongwei Xiang Qingbin Lu Shaopeng Cui Yinghong Hao Yan Sheng Xiuxiang Meng 2020Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1:0
5Relationship between estrus cycles and behavioral durations of captive female alpine musk deer显示文摘Owing to poor breeding success in captive alpine musk deer, an understanding of the behavioral patterns of muskdeer in captivity is important. This study was conducted from June 2004 to January 2005 at the Xinglongshan MuskDeer Farm, which is located within Xinglongshan National Nature Reserve, Gansu Province, China. Focal samplingand continuous recording were used to observe the behaviors of 51 female alpine musk deer (Moschus sifanicus),42 of which had completed a single estrus cycle and nine of which had completed two or more estrus cycles. Allanimals were adults that had been born and raised in captivity. The durations of 12 behaviors, including environmentalsniffing, moving and feeding, were recorded during the non-breeding seasons and behavioral patterns werecompared. The behavioral patterns of females that had completed a single estrus cycle and females that hadcompleted multiple estrus cycles were compared to assess potential behavioral differences. The results showed thatfemales who had only one complete estrus cycle demonstrated more resting behavior, but less feeding and locomotorbehavior than females who had completed multiple estrus cycles. Furthermore, single estrus cycle femalesdemonstrated tail-rubbing during the breeding season.
