1Al 7075和Mg AZ31合金扩散连接:工艺参数、显微组织分析和力学性能(英文)显示文摘采用扩散连接方法在压力范围10~35 MPa、温度430~450°C、时间60 min,真空13.3 mPa条件下连接Al 7075和Mg AZ31合金。采用扫描电子显微镜、X射线能谱和X射线衍射分析合金的显微组织演变、相分析和元素分布。结果表明:25 MPa为最佳的压力条件,在此条件下接头发生最小的塑性变形;在界面过渡区可观察到含不同金属间化合物如Al_(12)Mg_(17),Al_3Mg_2和α(Al)的固溶体反应层;随着温度的升高,反应层的厚度增大,更多的铝原子扩散进入镁合金,且界面朝着铝合金移动;在温度440°C、压力25 MPa下得到最大的结合强度38 MPa。断口形貌研究表明,脆性断裂来自于Al_3Mg_2相。Seyyed Salman SEYYED AFGHAHI Mojtaba JAFARIAN Moslem PAIDAR Morteza JAFARIAN 2016Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2016,26,7:3
2Friction stir welding of pure magnesium and polypropylene in a lap-joint configuration: Microstructure and mechanical properties显示文摘A hybrid joint with a satisfactory mixture of pure magnesium and polypropylene(PP)was achieved via friction stir joining(FSW)in a lap-joint configuration.The tool rotational and travel speeds used in this work were 500–700 r/min and 50–100 mm/min,respectively.The mechanical properties and microstructural analysis of the resultant hybrid Mg/PP joint were examined.The results show that the maximum tensile shear strength(22.5 MPa)of the joint was attained at 700 r/min and 75 mm/min due to the optimum percentage fraction of mechanical interlocking(48%)and the presence of magnesium oxide.The interfacial joint center exhibits the maximum microhardness values because of the presence of refined and intertwined Mg fragments and density dislocations in the matrix of the PP.The joint failed via two different modes:interfacial line and weld zone fractures,respectively.Amirhossein Moghanian Moslem Paidar Seyyed Salman Seyedafghahi Olatunji Oladimeji Ojo 2019International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2019,26,6:2
3Microstructure and wear behavior of AA6061/SiC surface composite fabricated via friction stir processing with different pins and passes显示文摘In this investigation,the effects of pin geometry and number of passes on macrostructure,microstructure,wear rate and also microhardness profile of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy surface composites fabricated via friction stir processing(FSP)were discussed by reinforcement particles of silicon carbide(SiC).The results show that after each FSP pass,a modify distribution of SiC particles is acquired and the increase in the number of passes reduces the average grain size in stir zone(SZ).Furthermore,it is discovered that pin geometry and pass number play a dominant role in the grain size of SZ and distribution of SiC particles in SZ.It is found that after each FSP pass,wear rate is improved due to the uniform distribution of SiC particles in surface of Al/SiC composite.Additionally,the results show that the square pin and smooth(straight)cylindrical pin have the highest and lowest resistance to wear,respectively.Hamidreza Eftekharinia Ahmad Ali Amadeh Alireza Khodabandeh Moslem Paidar 2020Rare Metals2020,39,4:2
4Influence of shielding gas on the mechanical and metallurgical properties of DP-GMA-welded 5083-H321 aluminum alloy显示文摘In the present research, 6-mm-thick 5083-H321 aluminum alloy was joined by the double-pulsed gas metal arc welding(DP-GMAW) process. The objective was to investigate the influence of the shielding gas composition on the microstructure and properties of GMA welds. A macrostructural study indicated that the addition of nitrogen and oxygen to the argon shielding gas resulted in better weld penetration. Furthermore, the tensile strength and bending strength of the welds were improved when oxygen and nitrogen(at concentrations as high as approximately 0.1vol%) were added to the shielding gas; however, these properties were adversely affected when the oxygen and nitrogen contents were increased further. This behavior was attributed to the formation of excessive brown and black oxide films on the bead surface, the formation of intermetallic compounds in the weld metal, and the formation of thicker oxide layers on the bead surface with increasing nitrogen and oxygen contents in the argon-based shielding gas.
