1Thermodynamic Analysis of Liquefied Natural Gas(LNG)Production Cycle in APCI Process显示文摘The appropriate production of liquefied natural gas(LNG)with least consuming energy and maximum efficiency is quite important.In this paper,LNG production cycle by means of APCI Process has been studied.Energy equilibrium equations and exergy equilibrium equations of each equipment in the APCI cycle were established.The equipments are described using rigorous thermodynamics and no significant simplification is assumed.Taken some operating parameters as key parameters,influences of these parameters on coefficient of performance(COP)and exergy efficiency of the cascading cycle were analyzed.The results indicate that COP and exergy efficiency will be improved with the increasing of the inlet pressure of MR(mixed refrigerant)compressors,the decreasing of the NG and MR after precooling process,outlet pressure of turbine,inlet temperature of MR compressor and NG temperature after cooling in main cryogenic heat exchanger(MCHE).The COP and exergy efficiency of the APCI cycle will be above 2% and 40%,respectively,after optimizing the key parameters.Shahrooz Abbasi Nezhad Bezhan Shabani Majid Soleimani 2012Journal of Thermal Science2012,21,6:3

3Nanoplasmonic magneto-optical isolator [Invited]显示文摘We introduce a nanoplasmonic isolator that consists of a cylindrical resonator placed close to a metal-dielectric-metal(MDM) waveguide. The material filling the waveguide and resonator is a magneto-optical(MO) material, and the structure is under an externally applied static magnetic field. We theoretically investigate the properties of the structure and show that the cavity mode without MO activity splits into two modes when the MO activity is present. In addition, we find that the presence of the MDM waveguide leads to a second resonance due to the geometrical asymmetry caused by the existence of the waveguide. We also show that, when MO activity is present, the cavity becomes a traveling wave resonator. 4Dynamic Analysis of Non-Symmetric Functionally Graded (FG) Cylindrical Structure under Shock Loading by Radial Shape Function Using Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) Method with Nonlinear Grading Patterns显示文摘In this paper,dynamic behavior of non-symmetric Functionally Graded(FG)cylindrical structure under shock loading is carried out.Dynamic equations in the polar coordinates are drawn out using Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin(MLPG)method.Nonlinear volume fractions are used for radial direction to simulate the mechanical properties of Functionally Graded Material(FGM).To solve dynamic equations of nonsymmetric FG cylindrical structure in the time domain,the MLPG method are combined with the Laplace transform method.For computing the inverse Laplace transform in the present paper,the Talbot algorithm for the numerical inversion is used.To verify the obtained results by the MLPG method,these results are compared with the analytical solution and the Finite Element Method(FEM).The obtained results through the MLPG method show a good agreement in comparison to other results and the MLPG method has high accuracy for dynamic analysis of non-symmetric FG cylindrical structure.The capability of the present method to dynamic analysis of non-symmetric FG cylindrical structure is demonstrated by dynamic analysis of the cylinder with different volume fraction exponents under harmonic and rectangular shock loading.The present method shows high accuracy,efficiency and capability to dynamic analysis of non-symmetric FG cylindrical structure with nonlinear grading patterns,which furnishes a ground for a more flexible design.Y.Sadeghi Ferezghi M.R.Sohrabi S.M Mosavi Nezhad 2017Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2017,,4:2

10Nutrient patterns and risk of cataract:a case-control study显示文摘AIM:To assess the relation between nutrient patterns and cataract risk.METHODS:This is a hospital-based case-control study with 97 cataract patients and 198 matched controls.Dietary consumption was collected through a valid food frequency questionnaire(FFQ).Nutrient patterns were detected by applying factor analysis.Unconditional logistic regression models were used to estimate odds ratio(ORs) and 95%CIs.RESULTS:We extracted 5 main nutrient patterns.Factor 1 included niacin,thiamin,carbohydrates,protein,zinc,vitamin B6 and sodium(sodium pattern).Factor 2 was characterized by oleic acid,monounsaturated fats,polyunsaturated fats,linoleic acid,trans fatty acid,linolenic acid,vitamin E and saturated fats(fatty acid pattern).The third factor represented high intake of vitamin B12,vitamin D,cholesterol and calcium(mixed pattern).The 4^(th) pattern was high in intake of beta and alpha carotene,vitamin A and vitamin C(antioxidant pattern).Finally,the 5^(th) pattern loaded heavily on docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA)(omega-3 pattern).In crude and multivariate analysis,the sodium pattern was associated with increased risk of cataract(OR=1.97,95%CI:1.09-3.96).The fatty acid pattern elevated the risk of cataract(OR=1.94,95%CI:1.1-3.86).Antioxidant pattern was associated with a significant 79% reduced risk(2^(nd) category compared with the 1st).Omega-3 pattern was significantly negatively associated with risk of cataract(P=0.04).CONCLUSION:These findings imply that nutrient patterns reflecting a combined consumption of nutrients might be important in the etiology of cataract.Additional studies with more efficient designs are warranted to confirm our findings.Fatemeh Sedaghat Matin Ghanavati Parisa Nezhad Hajian Sara Hajishirazi Mehdi Ehteshami Bahram Rashidkhani 2017International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2017,10,4:1

13Effect of natural and synthetic fibers reinforcement on California bearing ratio and tensile strength of clay显示文摘Use of environmentally friendly approaches with the purpose of strengthening soil layers along with finding correlations between the mechanical characteristics of fiber-reinforced soils such as indirect tensile strength(ITS)and California bearing ratio(CBR)and as well as the evaluation of shear strength parameters obtained from the triaxial test would be very effective at geotechnical construction sites.This research was aimed at investigating the influence of natural fibers as sustainable ones including basalt(BS)and bagasse(BG)as well as synthetic polyester(PET)fibers on the strength behavior of clayey soil.To this end,the effects of various fiber contents(0.5%,1%and 2%)and lengths(2.5 mm,5 mm and 7.5 mm)were experimentally evaluated.By conducting ITS and CBR tests,it was found that increasing fiber content and length had a significant influence on CBR and ITS values.Moreover,2%of 7.5 mm-long fibers led to the largest values of CBR and ITS.The CBR values of soil reinforced with PET,BS,and BG fibers were determined as 19.17%,15.43%and 13.16%,respectively.The ITS values of specimens reinforced with PET,BS,and BG fibers were reported as 48.57 kPa,60.7 kPa and 47.48 kPa,respectively.The results of the triaxial compression test revealed that with the addition of BS fibers,the internal friction angle increased by about 100%,and with the addition of PET fibers,the cohesion increased by about 70%.Moreover,scanning electron microscope(SEM)analysis was employed to confirm the findings.The relationship between CBR and ITS values,obtained via statistical analysis and used for the optimum design of road pavement layers,demonstrated that these parameters had high correlation coefficients.The outcomes of multiple linear regression and sensitivity analysis also confirmed that the fiber content had a greater effect on CBR and ITS values than fiber length.Mahdi Ghasemi Nezhad Alireza Tabarsa Nima Latifi 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,3:1
