| 1 | The Effects of Nutritional Media and Initial Cell Density on the Growth and Development of Spirulina platensis显示文摘The main objective of the study was to determine the effects of nutritional media and initial cell density on the growth and development of Spirulina platensis.This study was carried out at the Center for Incubation and Technology Transfer,Hue University from May 2015 to August 2016.In the first experiment,S.platensis was cultured in four different nutritional media,including Zarrouk,Spi-RIA3,Nisole and Thuoc medium(Vietnamese).Resulted showed that S.platensis grew significantly in the Zarrouk medium rather than in other nutritional medium at the same time,and gained the maximum density of 2,736.5 mg/L after 13 d inoculums,with specific growth rate of 4.987%per day and the time to doubling population of 0.139 d.In the second experiment,S.platensis was cultured in six different initial cell densities:100,400,700,1,000,1,300 and 1,600 mg/L,and the optimum nutritional medium was Zarrouk medium selected from experiment one.Results showed at the initial culture density of 400 mg/L,the highest biomass was gained with the maximum density of 3,071.2 mg/L after 21 d inoculums,with specific growth rate of 9.15%per day and time to double population of 0.076 d.S.platensis biomass from culture in Zarrouk medium at initial cell density 400 mg/L obtained total protein of 51.98%,total lipid of 1.75%,total carbohydrate of 0.75%,carotene of 0.36%and total minerals of 5.2%,on a basis of dry matter. | Nguyen Van Khanh Nguyen Thi Diem Le Thi Tuyet Nhan Phan Van Cu Tran Quang Khanh Van Ngo Thi Hoan | 2017 | Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology(A)2017,7,B10: | 0 |
| 2 | Eye Strain Detection During Online Learning显示文摘The recent outbreak of the coronavirus disease of 2019(Covid-19)has been causing many disruptions among the education systems worldwide,most of them due to the abrupt transition to online learning.The sudden upsurge in digital electronic devices usage,namely personal computers,laptops,tablets and smart-phones is unprecedented,which leads to a new wave of both mental and physical health problems among students,for example eye-related illnesses.The overexpo-sure to electronic devices,extended screen time usage and lack of outdoor sun-light have put a consequential strain on the student’s ophthalmic health because of their young age and a relative lack of responsibility on their own health.Failure to take appropriate external measures to mitigate the negative effects of this pro-cess could lead to common ophthalmic illnesses such as myopia or more serious conditions.To remedy this situation,we propose a software solution that is able to track and capture images of its users’eyes to detect symptoms of eye illnesses while simultaneously giving them warnings and even offering treatments.To meet the requirements of a small and light model that is operable on low-end devices without information loss,we optimized the original MobileNetV2 model with depth-wise separable convolutions by altering the parameters in the last layers with an aim to minimize the resizing of the input image and obtained a new model which we call EyeNet.Combined with applying the knowledge distillation tech-nique and ResNet-18 as a teacher model to train the student model,we have suc-cessfully increased the accuracy of the EyeNet model up to 87.16%and support the development of a model compatible with embedded systems with limited computing power,accessible to all students. | Le Quang Thao Duong Duc Cuong Vu Manh Hung Le Thanh Vinh Doan Trong Nghia Dinh Ha Hai Nguyen Nhan Nhi | 2023 | Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,,3: | 0 |

| 4 | Prevalence, risk factors, and BRAF mutation of colorectal sessile serrated lesions among Vietnamese patients显示文摘BACKGROUND Sessile serrated lesions(SSLs)are considered precancerous colorectal lesions that should be detected and removed to prevent colorectal cancer.Previous studies in Vietnam mainly investigated the adenoma pathway,with limited data on the serrated pathway.AIM To evaluate the prevalence,risk factors,and BRAF mutations of SSLs in the Vietnamese population.METHODS This is a cross-sectional study conducted on patients with lower gastrointestinal symptoms who underwent colonoscopy at a tertiary hospital in Vietnam.SSLs were diagnosed on histopathology according to the 2019 World Health Organi-zation classification.BRAF mutation analysis was performed using the Sanger DNA sequencing method.The multivariate logistic regression model was used to determine SSL-associated factors.RESULTS There were 2489 patients,with a mean age of 52.1±13.1 and a female-to-male ratio of 1:1.1.The prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%[95%confidence interval(CI):3.5-5.1].In the multivariate analysis,factors significantly associated with SSLs were age≥40[odds ratio(OR):3.303;95%CI:1.607-6.790],male sex(OR:2.032;95%CI:1.204-3.429),diabetes mellitus(OR:2.721;95%CI:1.551-4.772),and hypertension(OR:1.650,95%CI:1.045-2.605).The rate of BRAF mutations in SSLs was 35.5%.CONCLUSION The prevalence of SSLs was 4.2%.BRAF mutations were present in one-third of SSLs.Significant risk factors for SSLs included age≥40,male sex,diabetes mellitus,and hypertension. | Nhu Thi Hanh Vu Huy Minh Le Diem Thi-Ngoc Vo Hoang Anh Vu Nhan Quang Le Dung Dang Quy Ho Duc Trong Quach | 2024 | World Journal of Clinical Oncology2024,15,2: | 0 |
