1Transient flow characteristics and performance of a solid rocket motor with a pintle valve显示文摘The pintle valve is currently the most promising technology among all thrust control methods for solid rocket motors.Pintle structure and working condition play a critical role in the successful operation of a pintle motor.Here,2D transient simulations of a pintle motor using dynamic meshing are performed.Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations are solved with the implementation of an RNG k–e turbulence model.In cold flow test,emphasis is placed on the effect of pintle structure,and in hot flow test,emphasis is placed on the effect of propellant pressure exponent.Validation is performed first by comparing the present results with available cold-test experimental data.This shows that the transient simulations can provide good predictions for pintle motors with a relative error of less than 2%in terms of the chamber pressure.It can be found that,when the gas supply system is different,the working principles and conditions of pintle motors are different.The feedback process in propellant combustion has a significant impact on its operation and the effect on the pintle motor performance of different pintle structures is achieved by different variations in the equivalent throat area.Finally,the pressure exponent is an important parameter in hot flow test and changes of thrust in hot flow test are not monotonic,because changes in the flow field and motor performance are asynchronous.Anchen SONG Ningfei WANG Junwei LI Baoyin MA Xinjian CHEN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:1
2Nonlinear Coupling of Reversed Shear Alfvén Eigenmode and Toroidal Alfvén Eigenmode during Current Ramp显示文摘Two novel nonlinear mode coupling processes for reversed shear Alfvén eigenmode(RSAE) nonlinear saturation are proposed and investigated. In the first process, the RSAE nonlinearly couples to a co-propagating toroidal Alfvén eigenmode(TAE) with the same toroidal and poloidal mode numbers, and generates a geodesic acoustic mode. In the second process, the RSAE couples to a counter-propagating TAE and generates an ion acoustic wave quasi-mode. The condition for the two processes to occur is favored during current ramp. 3异质光照条件下克隆整合对入侵植物南美蟛蜞菊化感作用的影响显示文摘植物入侵已成为全球生态系统最严重的威胁之一。当具有克隆生长能力的入侵植物入侵或定殖到新的生境时,它们相互连接的分株可能受到异质光照的影响。在异质光照条件下,克隆整合对入侵植物化感作用的影响尚不清楚。为研究异质光照条件下克隆整合对入侵植物南美蟛蜞菊(Wedelia trilobata)化感作用的影响,采用两个连续分株的克隆片段进行了盆栽试验。较老的分株暴露在全光下,而年轻的分株则受到20%的全光照。同时,每个克隆片段的年轻分株与目标植株(一个番茄苗)在盆栽中相邻生长。南美蟛蜞菊的两个连续分株之间的匍匐茎设置切断和不切断两种处理。另外,两株番茄幼苗(一株作为目标植株)在盆栽中相邻生长作为对照。研究结果表明,当与目标植物相邻生长的南美蟛蜞菊分株之间的匍匐茎保持完整时,目标植株的生物量积累、叶片叶绿素和氮含量、叶绿素荧光参数和净光合速率及其根长和活性相较于匍匐茎切断处理显著降低。异质光照条件下连续两个分株之间碳水化合物的运输或共享可以增强20%全光处理下年轻分株的化感作用。克隆整合在异质光照条件下对具有克隆生长能力的入侵植物的入侵或定殖具有重要意义。Lei Pu Lang Cheng Ai Li Sha Liang Qing Wei Shulan Wu Linxuan He Xiangning Xu Ningfei Lei Jinsong Chen 2022Journal of Plant Ecology2022,15,3:1
4A SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody discovery by single cell sequencing and molecular modeling显示文摘Although vaccines have been developed,mutations of SARS-CoV-2,especially the dominant B.1.617.2(delta)and B.1.529(omicron)strains with more than 30 mutations on their spike protein,have caused a significant decline in prophylaxis,calling for the need for drug improvement.Antibodies are drugs preferentially used in infectious diseases and are easy to get from immunized organisms.The current study combined molecular modeling and single memory B cell sequencing to assess candidate sequences before experiments,providing a strategy for the fabrication of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies.A total of 128 sequences were obtained after sequencing 196 memory B cells,and 42 sequences were left after merging extremely similar ones and discarding incomplete ones,followed by homology modeling of the antibody variable region.Thirteen candidate sequences were expressed,of which three were tested positive for receptor binding domain recognition but only one was confirmed as having broad neutralization against several SARS-CoV-2 variants.The current study successfully obtained a SARS-CoV-2 antibody with broad neutralizing abilities and provided a strategy for antibody development in emerging infectious diseases using single memory B cell BCR sequencing and computer assistance in antibody fabrication.Zheyue Wang Qi Tang Bende Liu Wenqing Zhang Yufeng Chen Ningfei Ji Yan Peng Xiaohui Yang Daixun Cui Weiyu Kong Xiaojun Tang Tingting Yang Mingshun Zhang Xinxia Chang Jin Zhu Mao Huang Zhenqing Feng 2023The Journal of Biomedical Research2023,37,3:0

6Wafer-scale fabrication of carbon-nanotube-based CMOS transistors and circuits with high thermal stability显示文摘Thanks to its single-atomic-layer structure,high carrier transport,and low power dissipation,carbon nanotube electronics is a leading candidate towards beyond-silicon technologies.Its low temperature fabrication processes enable three-dimensional(3D)integration with logic and memory(static random access memory(SRAM),magnetic random access memory(MRAM),resistive random access memory(RRAM),etc.)to realize efficient near-memory computing.Importantly,carbon nanotube transistors require good thermal stability up to 400℃ processing temperature to be compatible with back-end-of-line(BEOL)process,which has not been previously addressed.In this work,we developed a robust wafer-scale process to build complementary carbon nanotube transistors with high thermal stability and good uniformity,where AlN was employed as electrostatic doping layer.The gate stack and passivation layer were optimized to realize high-quality interfaces.Specifically,we demonstrate 1-bit carbon nanotube full adders working under 250℃ with rail-to-rail outputs.Nan Wei Ningfei Gao Haitao Xu Zhen Liu Lei Gao Haoxin Jiang Yu Tian Yufeng Chen Xiaodong Du Lian-Mao Peng 2022Nano Research2022,15,11:0
7Effects of Soil Nutrient Heterogeneity and Earthworms on Aboveground Biomass of Experimental Plant Communities显示文摘Soil nutrients are commonly heterogeneously distributed and earthworms are one of the most common soil organisms.While effects of both soil nutrient heterogeneity and earthworms have been well studied,their interactive effect on plant community productivity has rarely been tested.In a greenhouse experiment,we constructed experimental plant communities by sowing seed mixtures of four grasses,two legumes and two forbs in either a heterogeneous soil consisting of low and high nutrient soil patches or a homogeneous soil where the low and high nutrient soil patches were evenly mixed.The earthworm Eisenia fetida was either added to these soils or not.Aboveground biomass of the whole communities,grasses and legumes did not differ between the homogeneous and heterogeneous soils or between the soils with and without earthworms.However,soil nutrient heterogeneity reduced aboveground biomass of forbs,and such an effect did not interact with earthworms.In response to soil heterogeneity and earthworms,biomass ratio of the three functional groups showed similar patterns as that of their biomass.At the patch level,aboveground biomass of the whole community,grasses and legumes were greater in the high than in the low nutrient soil patches within the heterogeneous soil.A similar pattern was found for the forbs,but this was only true in the absence of earthworms.Our results suggest that soil nutrient heterogeneity and earthworms may not influence aboveground biomass of plant communities,despite the fact that they may modify the growth of certain plant functional groups within the community.Simei Yao Yu Jin Limin Zhang Ningfei Lei Wei Xue Jinsong Chen Qian Zhang Feihai Yu 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,4:0
8Therapeutic Efficacy of Complex Decongestive Therapy in the Treatment of Elephantiasis of the Lower Extremities显示文摘Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of complex decongestive therapy in the treatment of elephantiasis of the lower extremities.Methods Seventeen patients with unilateral lower limb elephantiasis were included in the study(5 with primary lymphedema and 12 with secondary lymphedema).All patients were treated with one course(4 weeks)of complex decongestive therapy.Changes inextracellular fluid(ECF),BMI,circumferences,and skin properties including skin stiffness(SF),percent water content(PWC),and trans-epidermal water loss(TEWL)were measured before and after treatment.Results The“elephantiasis-like”appearance of the affected limb was greatly improved after treatment.The ECF,BMI,and circumferences were significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.001)with an average ECF of 2.97±1.82 L,BMI of 1.638±2.647 kg/m^2,and circumference of 6.58±2.79 cm.The values of PWC,TEWL,and SFwere 50.5%±10.6%,18.55±10.2 g/m^2 h,and 0.161±0.176 N,respectively,before treatment and 36.05%±7%,8.3±2.07 g/m^2h,and 0.086±0.038 N,respectively,after treatment,there by showing significant decreases(P<0.05).Conclusion Complex decongestive therapy is effective in the treatment of advanced stages of chronic lymphedema.Jiajia CHEN Li WANG Linghua HAN Ningfei LIU Ziyou YU 2020Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2020,2,1:0
