| 1 | Theoretical prediction for effective properties and progressive failure of textile composites:a generalized multi-scale approach显示文摘A generalized analytical model is developed to predict progressive failure behavior of several types of textile composites,including plain weave composites,twill weave composites,two-dimensional tri-axially braided composites and warpreinforced 2.5-dimensional braided composites.In this model,the unit cell(UC)of composite is firstly identified and reconstructed into a refined lamina structure with multiple equivalent lamina elements(ELEs)based on apt geometrical approximation and assumptions.Secondly,two-way coupled stress-strain responses within the UC(macro-scale)and ELE(meso-scale)are established through a universal series-parallel model(SPM).Finally,a progressive damage model,which consists of damage initiation criteria and a stiffness evolution strategy,is employed to predict damage behavior of the ELE.The analytical results including mechanical properties and progressive failure process are validated against the existing numerical and experimental ones in literature.The validated analytical model is then used to study the effects of global fiber volume fraction,braided angle,shear failure coefficient and selected failure criteria on stiffness,strength and failure process.The present results demonstrate the efficiency and generic capability of the present analytical model for predicting the mechanical responses of a range of textile composites. | Haoyuan Dang Peng Liu Yinxiao Zhang Zhenqiang Zhao Liyong Tong Chao Zhang Yulong Li | 2021 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2021,37,8: | 3 |

| 4 | Aggregation-induced narrowband isomeric fluorophores for ultraviolet nondoped OLEDs by engineering multiple nonbonding interactions显示文摘Traditional donor-acceptor type organic luminescent materials usually suffer from unfavorable spectral broadening and fluorescence quenching problems arising from strong inter/intra-chromophore interactions in aggregation state.Here,two ultraviolet carbazole-pyrimidine isomers(named o-DCz-Pm and m-DCz-Pm)with novel aggregation-induced narrowband phenomenon are constructed and systematic investigated by experiments and theoretical simulations.Benefitting from strengthened steric hindrance and multiple noncovalent interactions,the nonradiative decay,vibrational motion,and structural relaxation of singlet state can be effectively suppressed in aggregation state.Consequently,the electroluminescence peak of 397 nm,full width at half maximum of 21 nm and external quantum efficiency of 3.4%are achieved simultaneously in nondoped o-DCz-Pm-based device.This work paves an avenue toward the development of high-performance narrowband nondoped ultraviolet materials and organic light-emitting diodes. | Yumiao Huo Haoyuan Qi Shuyao He Jie Li Shuping Song Jichen Lv Yuchao Liu Ling Peng Shian Ying Shouke Yan | 2023 | Aggregate2023,4,6: | 0 |
| 5 | A Cobalt(Ⅲ)Corrole with a Tethered Imidazole for Boosted Electrocatalytic Oxygen Reduction Reaction显示文摘Developing electrocatalysts with high activity and selectivity for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is vital to promote the performance of the next-generation energy technologies,which depend on the efficiency of the catalytic reduction of dioxygen.In the structure of cytochrome c oxidases(CcOs),a histidine imidazole residue binding to the axial position of Fe plays a crucial role in facilitating the selective reduction of O_(2)to water.Inspired by nature,we herein report on the synthesis of CoIII corrole 1 tethered with an imidazole ligand as well as its electrocatalytic ORR and O_(2)binding features.As compared to the imidazolium-free analogue,complex 1 displayed remarkably boosted activity for the selective four-electron/four-proton(4e-/4H+)ORR with a half-wave potential of E1/2=0.82 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)in 0.1 mol/L KOH solutions.Importantly,we demonstrate that the tethered axial imidazole ligand improves the O_(2)binding ability of 1 thermodynamically and dynamically,which is crucial to boost electrocatalytic ORR performance.This work presents an example to improve electrocatalytic ORR activity and selectivity of Co corroles by introducing an axial imidazole ligand to enhance the O_(2)binding and activation. | Yimei Gao Benxing Mei Yizhen Wu Qian Zhao Zijia Bao Haonan Qin Yuhan Xu Haoyuan Lv Xinyang Peng Yan He Ting Luo Ran Yao Wei Zhang Haitao Lei Rui Cao | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,21: | 0 |
