4Architecture engineering of carbonaceous anodes for high-rate potassium-ion batteries显示文摘The limited lithium resource in earth's crust has stimulated the pursuit of alternative energy storage technologies to lithium-ion battery.Potassium-ion batteries(KIBs)are regarded as a kind of promising candidate for large-scale energy storage owing to the high abundance and low cost of potassium resources.Nevertheless,further development and wide application of KIBs are still challenged by several obstacles,one of which is their fast capacity deterioration at high rates.A considerable amount of effort has recently been devoted to address this problem by developing advanced carbonaceous anode materials with diverse structures and morphologies.This review presents and highlights how the architecture engineering of carbonaceous anode materials gives rise to high-rate performances for KIBs,and also the beneficial conceptions are consciously extracted from the recent progress.Particularly,basic insights into the recent engineering strategies,structural innovation,and the related advances of carbonaceous anodes for high-rate KIBs are under specific concerns.Based on the achievements attained so far,a perspective on the foregoing,and proposed possible directions,and avenues for designing high-rate anodes,are presented finally.Tianlai Wu Weicai Zhang Jiaying Yang Qiongqiong Lu Jing Peng Mingtao Zheng Fei Xu Yingliang Liu Yeru Liang 2021Carbon Energy2021,3,4:2

10Recombinant human thrombopoietin prior to mobilization chemotherapy facilitates platelet recovery in autologous transplantation in patients with lymphoma:Results of a prospective randomized study显示文摘Background:Chemotherapy plus granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) regimen is one of the available approaches to mobilize peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBPCs).It causes thrombocytopenia and delays leukapheresis.This study aimed to evaluate the role of recombinant human thrombopoietin (rhTPO) before mobilization chemotherapy in facilitating leukapheresis in patients with lymphoma.Methods:In this randomized open-label phase 2 trial, patients were randomly assigned in a 1:2 ratio to receive mobilization with rhTPO plus GCSF in combination with chemotherapy (the rhTPO plus GCSF arm) or GCSF alone in combination with chemotherapy (the GCSF alone arm).The recovery of neutrophils and platelets and the amount of platelet transfusion were monitored.Results:Thirty patients were enrolled in this study between March 2016 and August 2018. Patients in the rhTPO plus GCSF arm (n = 10) had similar platelet nadir after mobilization chemotherapy (P=0.878) and similar amount of platelet transfusion (median 0 vs.1 unit,P=0.735) when compared with the GCSF alone arm (n = 20). On the day of leukapheresis, the median platelet count was 86 ×10^(9)/L (range 18-219) among patients who received rhTPO and 73 ×10^(9)/L (range 42-197) among those who received GCSF alone (P=0.982). After the use of rhTPO, the incidence of platelet count <75 ×10^(9)/L on the day of leukapheresis did not decrease significantly (30.0% vs. 50.0%,P=0.297).Platelet recovery after PBPC transfusion was more rapid in the rhTPO plus GCSF arm (median 8.0 days [95% confidence interval 2.9-13.1] to platelets ≥50 ×10^(9)/L vs. 11.0 days [95% confidence interval 8.6-13.4],P=0.011).The estimated total cost of the mobilization and reconstitution phases per patient was similar between the two treatmtent groups (P=0.362 andP=0.067,respectively).Conclusions:Our findings indicate that there was no significant clinical benefit of rhTPO use in facilitating mobilization of progenitor cells,but it may promote platelet recovery in the reconstitution phase after high-dose therapy.Trial registration:This trial has been registered in Clinicaltrials.gov as NCT03014102.Hongnan Mo Peng Liu Yan Qin Xiaohui He Xiaohong Han Jiarui Yao Weicai Su Shuxiang Zhang Le Tang Fengyi Zhao Lin Gui Sheng Yang Jianliang Yang Shengyu Zhou Zhishang Zhang Yuankai Shi 2021Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine2021,7,3:0
11A New Species of Nidirana(Anura,Ranidae)from Southern Guangxi,China显示文摘A new music frog,Nidirana shiwandashanensis sp.nov.,is described from Shiwandashan National Nature Reserve,Shangsi County,Guangxi,China.Phylogenetic analysis based on mtDNA sequences indica tes tha t the new species is closest to N.guangxiensis.However,N.shiwandashanensis sp.nov.differs from its congeners based on morphological characters,molecular data,and bioacoustics.The advertisement calls are comprised of 6–8 double notes,which are distinct from its sister taxon,N.guangxiensis.Currently,the new species occurs in the evergreen forest at Shiwandashan National Nature Reserve between 500–600 m a.s.l.Weicai CHEN Wanxiao PENG Peng LI Youjun LIU 2022Asian Herpetological Research2022,13,2:0
12Enhancing sound absorption using periodic micro-perforated structure with porous layer显示文摘To get desired sound absorption,we proposed a novel periodic composite structure comprised of micro-perforated plates(MPPs),porous materials and air cavities.The composite structure is then solved using an equivalent circuit model,with equivalent fluid porous model and Maa’s theory.Distributed four-pole elements are used to handle structures which are not compact compared to the sound wavelength.The model procedures are validated and confirmed as satisfactory by published results and finite-element results.Analysis conducted on a single layer shows that,compared with traditional MPP,the porous addition can increase sound absorption in the low-to-medium frequency range;however,the advantage of porous materials in the high-frequency range is lost.Meanwhile,by arranging the porous materials in parallel and controlling their filling ratios,the absorption curve of the composite structure can be tuned.As to periodic composite structures,it is found that the influence of layer number N is mainly in the low-to-medium frequency range.When N varies,the half-absorption bandwidth increases over 40%(≥380 Hz) compared with a single layer.Compared with multi-layered MPPs,N=2 and N=4 produce an increase of bandwidth by 50%(≥400 Hz) and 30%(≥300 Hz) respectively.As N increases,the sound absorption is better but the enhancement weakens as it tends to the limit of the composite structure.These results show the potential enhancements that can be made to the traditional MPP,which can benefit the research on wideband noise reduction in the low-to-medium frequency range.QIAO Hou HE Zeng ZHAO Chao JIANG Wen PENG Weicai 2021Chinese Journal of Acoustics2021,40,1:0
