A novel technique for automatic seismic data processing using both integral and local feature of seismograms显示文摘A novel technique for automatic seismic data processing using both integral and local feature of seismograms was presented in this paper. Here, the term integral feature of seismograms refers to feature which may depict the shape of the whole seismograms. However, unlike some previous efforts which completely abandon the DIAL approach,i.e.,signal detection, phase identification, association, and event localization, and seek to use envelope cross-correlation to detect seismic events directly, our technique keeps following the DIAL approach, but in addition to detect signals corresponding to individual seismic phases,it also detects continuous wave-trains and explores their feature for phase-type identification and signal association.More concrete ideas about how to define wave-trains and combine them with various detections,as well as how to measure and utilize their feature in the seismic data processing were expatiated in the paper. This approach has been applied to the routine data processing by us for years, and test results for a 16 days' period using data from the Xinjiang seismic station network were presented. The automatic processing results have fairly low false and missed event rate simultaneously, showing that the new technique has good application prospects for improvement of the automatic seismic data processing. | Ping Jin Chengliu Zhang Xufeng Shen Hongchun Wang Changzhou Pan Na Lu Xiong Xu | 2014 | Earthquake Science2014,27,3: | 3

X-ray emission characteristics in magnetically driven plasma jet experiments on PTS facility显示文摘Jets are commonly observed astrophysical phenomena. To study the x-ray emission characteristics of jets,a series of radial foil Z-pinch experiments are carried out on the Primary Test Stand at the Institute of Fluid Physics,China Academy of Engineering Physics. In these experiments,x-ray emission ranging from the soft region(0.1–10 keV)to the hard region(10 keV–500 keV)is observed when the magnetic cavity breaks. The radiation flux of soft x-rays is measured by an x-ray diode and the dose rate of the hard x-rays by an Si-PIN detector. The experimental results indicate that the energy of the soft x-rays is several tens of kilojoules and that of the hard x-rays is∼200 J.The radiation mechanismof the x-ray emission is briefly analyzed. This analysis indicates that the x-ray energy and the plasma kinetic energy come from the magnetic energy when the magnetic cavity breaks. The soft x-rays are thought to be produced by bremsstrahlung of thermal electrons(∼100 eV),and the hard x-rays by bremsstrahlung of super-hot electrons(∼mega-electron-volt).These results may be helpful to explain the xray emission by the jets from young stellar objects. | Qiang Xu Shaotong Zhou Kun-lun Wang Siqun Zhang Hongchun Cai Xiao Ren Pan Liu Xian bin Huang Li Zhao Wenkang Zou | 2020 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,1: | 0
Proteomic analysis of a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease mouse model to determine the efficacy of treatment using Guben Zhike decoction显示文摘Background:Guben Zhike decoction(GBZKD)is derived from the experience of Professor Enxiang Chao,an esteemed master of Chinese medicine, while treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).GBZKD reinforces the healthy qi and consolidates defensive qi.This study explored the efficacy and potential mechanism of action of GBZKD in a COPD mouse model using proteomics. Methods:A COPD mouse model was established through cigarette smoke exposure and intranasal lipopolysaccharide administration. The model was verified through lung function test and lung histopathological observation.Label-free quantitative proteomics was used to detect the lung tissue proteins of mice from the GBZKD,COPD,and control groups. Results:GBZKD markedly improved the lung function and associated pathological conditions in the COPD mouse model.Proteomic analysis identified 4316 proteins,of which 3696 were quantitative proteins. We highlighted 287 and 184 proteins with significant regulatory roles in the lung tissues of COPD mice and GBZKD-treated mice, respectively. These proteins participated in multiple functions, including complement/coagulation cascade, immune response, and metabolic pathways. Conclusion:GBZKD exhibits multitarget and multipathway therapeutic effects in a COPD mouse model. | Mingzhe Wang Guoxing Liu Yao Xiao Zhe Cai Chang Liu Lin Pan Ying Liu Mengchao Liu Hongchun Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,1: | 0
Examination on the Ecological Civilization Governance System and Capacity With the Case of COVID-19 Pandemic: Review and Improvement显示文摘The COVID-19 disease broke out globally, bringing great challenges to public health security and increasing the difficulties in constructing ecological civilization governance system.Under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the Chinese Government and people have fought against the disease with courage and put people’s health and safety first.Through hard work,China has made achievements in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic and accelerated the restoring of work and life back to normalcy. While continuing to control the pandemic domestically,China promotes the building of a human community with shared destiny, and plays an active role in promoting global cooperation in public health, contributing extraordinarily to global public health and world economy.Guided by Xi Jinping’s Thought of Ecological Civilization,China has endeavored for modernization characterized by harmonious coexistence between man and nature. In response to the current crisis in public health and the challenges facing human–nature harmony thus incurred, the Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies has co-hosted a seminar with CASS Thinktank for Eco-civilization Studies, aiming at brainstorming on and enhancing faith in continuing the building of an ecological civilization after completing the construction of a moderately well-off society in all respects. This paper intends to call for other countries to exchange and cooperate in building ecological civilization and building the world into a beautiful home for all. | PAN Jiahua ZOU Ji WANG Tongsan LI Hongwei QIN Zunwen WU Shunze YE Jiang YE Qian ZHANG Yongsheng ZHOU Hongchun ZHUANG Guiyang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies2020,8,3: | 0
Inversion of focal mechanism and events identification using an improved relative amplitude method显示文摘The relative amplitude method(RAM) is more suitable for source inversion of low magnitude earthquakes because it avoids the modeling of short-period waveforms. We introduced an improved relative amplitude method(IRAM) which is more robust in practical cases. The IRAM uses a certain function to quantify the fitness between the observed and the predicted relative amplitudes among direct P wave, surface reflected pP and sP waves for a given focal mechanism.Using the IRAM,we got the fault-plane solutions of two earthquakes of mb4.9 and mb3.8,occurred in Issyk-Kul lake,Kyrgyzstan. For the larger event, its fault-plane solutions are consistent with the Harvard's CMT solutions. As to the smaller one,the strikes of the solution are consistent with those of the main faults near the epicenter. The synthetic long period waveforms and the predicted P wave first motions of the solutions are consistent with observations at some of regional stations. Finally,we demonstrated that fault-solutions cannot interpret the characteristics of teleseismic P waveforms of the underground nuclear explosion detonated in Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) on October 9,2006. | Hongchun Wang Ping Jin Changzhou Pan Weiguo Xiao | 2009 | Earthquake Science2009,22,1: | 0
