| 1 | 番茄红素抑制前列腺癌LnCaP细胞增殖显示文摘目的:探讨人体血清中番茄红素(lycopene)水平与前列腺癌发病相关性。方法:将在加入0.5μmol/L,5μmol/L,10μmol/L,15μmol/L不同浓度番茄红素溶液的培养基中生长48h后的LnCaP细胞,与在相对应浓度番茄红素溶剂-四氢叶酸酯中以及RPMI1640培养基中生长的各组细胞增殖率进行比较。观察体外培养条件下不同浓度番茄红素对前列腺癌LnCaP细胞系增殖的影响。结果:与在相对应浓度溶剂中生长的细胞相比,番茄红素溶液的培养基中生长的LnCaP细胞,细胞增殖分别减少了2.66%,4.29%,3.73%,13.66%(P<0.05)。与在RPMI培养基中生长的细胞相比,在加入5μmol/L,10μmol/L,15μmol/L番茄红素溶液的培养基中生长的LnCaP细胞,细胞增殖分别减少了8.12%,6.33%,12.00%(P<0.05)。结论:番茄红素在体外培养条件下对前列腺癌LnCaP细胞的增殖有显著的抑制作用。 | 张鑫 Rashida Pramanik 高居忠 Jonathan Morris G.H.Muir | 2005 | 临床泌尿外科杂志2005,20,8: | 15 |
| 2 | Laboratory simulated dissipation of metsulfuron methyl and chlorimuron ethyl in soils and their residual fate in rice, wheat and soybean at harvest显示文摘Two sulfonylurea herbicides, metsulfuron methyl (Ally 20 WP) and chlorimuron ethyl (Classic 25 WP) were evalu-ated for their dissipation behaviour in alluvial, coastal saline and laterite soils under laboratory incubated condition at 60% water holding capacity of soils and 30 °C temperature was maintained. In field study herbicides were applied twice for the control of grasses, annual and perennials broad leaves weeds and sedges in rice, wheat and soybean to find out the residual fate of both the herbicides on different matrices of respective crops after harvest. Extraction and clean up methodologies for the herbicides were standardized and subsequently analyzed by HPLC. The study revealed that the half-lives of metsulfuron methyl and chlorimuron ethyl ranged from 10.75 to 13.94 d irrespective of soils and doses applied. | 3 | Critical review of bone health,fracture risk and management of bone fragility in diabetes mellitus显示文摘The risk of fracture is increased in both type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).However,in contrast to the former,patients with T2DM usually possess higher bone mineral density.Thus,there is a considerable difference in the pathophysiological basis of poor bone health between the two types of diabetes.Impaired bone strength due to poor bone microarchitecture and low bone turnover along with increased risk of fall are among the major factors behind elevated fracture risk.Moreover,some antidiabetic medications further enhance the fragility of the bone.On the other hand,antiosteoporosis medications can affect the glucose homeostasis in these patients.It is also difficult to predict the fracture risk in these patients because conventional tools such as bone mineral density and Fracture Risk Assessment Tool score assessment can underestimate the risk.Evidence-based recommendations for risk evaluation and management of poor bone health in diabetes are sparse in the literature.With the advancement in imaging technology,newer modalities are available to evaluate the bone quality and risk assessment in patients with diabetes.The purpose of this review is to explore the patho-physiology behind poor bone health in diabetic patients.Approach to the fracture risk evaluation in both T1DM and T2DM as well as the pragmatic use and efficacy of the available treatment options have been discussed in depth. | Rajan Palui Subhodip Pramanik Sunetra Mondal Sayantan Ray | 2021 | World Journal of Diabetes2021,12,6: | 4 |

| 5 | Nitric oxide mediated Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis and protective role of nanoconjugated vancomycin显示文摘Objective:To investigate the relation between fruit seeds,plants residuals and appendicitis. Methods:Among cases that underwent appendectomy,the appendicitis cases having fruit seeds and undigested plant residuals in their etiology were examined retrospectively.Also, histopathological features,age,sex,and parameters of morbidity and mortality were used. | 6 | Antioxidative effect of folate-modified chitosan nanoparticles显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the potency of carboxymethyl chitosan-2,2' ethylenedioxy bisethylamine-folate(CMC-EDBE-FA) on tissue injury,antioxidant status and glutathione system in tissue mitochondria and serum against nicotine-induced oxidative stress in mice.Methods: CMC-EDBE-FA was prepared on basis of carboxymethyl chitosan tagged with folic acid by covalently linkage through 2,2' ethylenedioxy bis-ethylamine.Animals were divided into four groups,i.e.,control,nicotine(1 mg/kg bw/day),CMC-EDBE-FA(1 mg/kg bw/day) and nicotine(1 mg/kg bw/day) and CMC-EDBE-FA(1 mg/kg bw/day) for 7 days.Levels of lipid peroxidation, oxidized glutathione level,antioxidant enzyme status and DNA damage were observed and compared.Results:The significantly increase of lipid peroxidation,oxidized glutathione levels and DNA damage was observed in nicotine treated group as compared with control group;those were significantly reduced in CMC-EDBE-FA supplemented group.Moreover,significantly reduced antioxidant status in nicotine treated group was effectively ameliorated by the supplementation of CMC-EDBE-FA.Only CMC-EDBE-FA treated groups showed no significant change as compared with control group;rather than it repairs the tissue damage of nicotine treated group.Conclusions:These findings suggest that CMC-EDBE-FA is non-toxic and ameliorates nicotine-induced toxicity. | Subhankari Prasad Chakraborty Santanu Kar Mahapatra Sumanta Kumar Sahu Panchanan Pramanik Somenath Roy | 2011 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2011,1,1: | 3 |

| 11 | Fire monitoring in coal mines using wireless underground sensor network and interval type-2 fuzzy logic controller显示文摘From the view of underground coal mining safety system, it is extremely important to continuous monitoring of coal mines for the prompt detection of fires or related problems inspite of its uncertainty and imprecise characteristics. Therefore, evaluation and inferring the data perfectly to prevent fire related accidental risk in underground coal mining (UMC) system are very necessary. In the present article, we have proposed a novel type-2 fuzzy logic system (T2FLS) for the prediction of fire intensity and its risk assessment for risk reduction in an underground coal mine. Recently, for the observation of underground coal mines, wireless underground sensor network (WUSN) are being concerned frequently. To implement this technique IT2FLS, main functional components are sensor nodes which are installed in coal mines to accumulate different imprecise environmental data like, temperature, relative humidity, different gas concentrations etc. and these are sent to a base station which is connected to the ground observation system through network. In the present context, a WUSN based fire monitoring system is developed using fuzzy logic approach to enhance the consistency in decision making system to improve the risk chances of fire during coal mining. We have taken Mamdani IT2FLS as fuzzy model on coal mine monitoring data to consider real-time decision making (DM). It is predicted from the simulated results that the recommended system is highly acceptable and amenable in the case of fire hazard safety with compared to the wired and off-line monitoring system for UMC.
