1变时滞不确定Lurie系统的时滞分布依赖鲁棒稳定性分析(英文)显示文摘In this paper, the problem of robust absolute stability of Lurie system with probabilistic time-varying delay and normbounded parametric uncertainty is considered. The time delay variation range is divided into two sub-intervals. By considering the probability distribution of the time-varying delay between the two sub-intervals and the knowledge of the delay variation range, a novel linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based stability condition is derived by defining a Lyapunov Krasovskii functional. 10Mass balance and morphological evolution of the Dokriani Glacier,central Himalaya,India during 1999–2014显示文摘Glaciological mass balance(MB)is considered the most direct,undelayed and unfiltered response of the glaciers to climatic perturbations.However,it may inherit errors associated with stake underrepresentation,averaging over the entire glacier and human bias.Therefore,proper validation of glaciological MB with geodetic MB is highly recommended by the World Glacier Monitoring Service(WGMS).The present study focuses on the Dokriani Glacier,central Himalaya which is one of the bench-mark glaciers in the region and has glaciological MB records from 1993 to 2013 with intermittent gaps.In the present study,firstly the glaciological MB series is extended to 2014 i.e.,field-based MB for one more year is computed and,to compare with it,the geodetic MB is computed for the 1999–2014 period using high resolution Cartosat-1 digital elevation model(DEM)and SRTM DEM.Finally,the study assesses the regional representation of the Dokriani Glacier in terms of MB and evaluates the influence of the MB regime on its morphological evolution.Results show that the average glaciological MB(-0.34±0.2 m water equivalent(w.e.)y-1)is more negative than the geodetic MB(-0.23±0.1 m w.e.y-1)for the 1999–2014 period.This is likely because of the partial representation of glacier margins in the glaciological MB,where melting is strikingly low owing to thick debris cover(>30 cm).In contrast,geodetic MB considers all marginal pixels leading to a comparatively low MB.A comparative assessment shows that the MB of Dokriani Glacier is less negative(possibly due to its huge accumulation area)than most other glacier-specific and regional MBs,restricting it to be a representative glacier in the region.Moreover,continuous negative MB has brought a peculiar change in the epiglacial morphology in the lower tongue of the glacier as differential debris thickness-induced differential melting has turned the glacier surface into a concave one.This concavity has led to development of a large(10–20 m deep)supraglacial channel which is expanding incessantly.The supraglacial channel is also connected with the snout wall and accelerates terminus disintegration.Given the total thickness of about 30–50 m in the lower glacier tongue,downwasting at its current pace,deepening/widening of supraglacial channel coupled with rapid terminus retreat may lead to the complete vanishing of the lower one km glacier tongue.Purushottam Kumar Garg Jairam Singh Yadav Santosh Kumar Rai Aparna Shukla 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,1:0
11Histological difference in ligament flavum between degenerative lumbar canal stenosis and non-stenotic group:A prospective,comparative study显示文摘BACKGROUND Ligament flavum(LF)hypertropy is the main etiopathogenesis of lumbar canal stenosis(LCS).The purely elastic LF undergoes a morphological adaptation including a reduction in the elastic fibers and a consequent increase in the collagen content,fibrosis,cicatrization,and calcification.However,the morphometric analysis can delineate the LF in patients with LCS from those without LCS,which would help in better understanding LCS pathogenesis.AIM To compare the histopathological changes in LF between the degenerative LCS and non-stenotic(non-LCS)group.METHODS The present prospective study was conducted in 82 patients who were divided into two groups,namely LCS and non-LCS.Demographic details of the patients such as duration of symptoms,level of involvement,and number of segments were recorded.The LF obtained from both groups was histopathologically examined for the fibrosis score,elastic fiber degeneration,calcification,and chondroid metaplasia.Morphometrical details included a change in elastin and collagen percentages,elastin/collagen ratio,elastic fiber fragmentation,and ligamentocyte numbers.All parameters were compared between the two groups by using the independent t test,Chi-square test,and Pearson’s correlation test.RESULTS Out of 82 cases,74 were analysed,34 in LCS and 40 in non-LCS group.The mean±SD age of presentation in LCS and non-LCS group was 49.2±8.9 and 43.1±14.3 respectively.The LCS group(n=34)exhibited significant differences in fibrosis(P=0.002),elastic fiber degeneration(P=0.01),%elastic fragmentation(66.5±16.3 vs 29.5±16.9),%elastic,content(26.9±6.7 vs 34.7±8.4),%collagen content(63.6±10.4 vs 54.9±6.4),reduction of elastic/collagen(0.4±0.1 vs 0.6±0.1),and ligamentocyte number(39.1±19.1 vs 53.5±26.9)as compared to non-LCS group(n=40).The calcification(P=0.08)and Pearson’s correlation between duration and loss of elastin was not significant.The difference in LF morphology is consistent in patient’s≥40 years of age among the groups as found in subgroup analysis.Similarly in the patents<40 and>40 in the non-LCS group.CONCLUSION LF is vital in the pathogenesis of LCS.The purely elastic LF undergoes a morphological adaptation that includes a reduction in the elastic fibers with a consequent increase in the collagen content,fibrosis,cicatrization,and calcification.The present study provides a detailed morphometric analysis to semiquantitatively delineate the LF changes in patients with LCS from those in patients without LCS.Mantu Jain Mukund Sable Amit Purushottam Tirpude Rabi Narayan Sahu Sudeep Kumar Samanta Gurudip Das 2022World Journal of Orthopedics2022,13,9:0
12Experiences with Rice Grown on Permanent Raised Beds: Effect of Crop Establishment Techniques on Water Use, Productivity, Profitability and Soil Physical Properties显示文摘In recent years, conventional rice production technologies have been leading to deterioration of soil health and declining farm profitability due to high inputs of water and labor. Conservation agriculture(CA) based resource-conserving technologies i.e. zero-tillage(ZT), raised-bed planting and direct-seeded rice(DSR) have shown promise as alternatives to conventional production technologies to overcome these problems. Present study was undertaken during 2009–2012 to establish an understanding of how permanent raised bed cropping system could be practiced to save water at the field application level to improve water productivity and also have the capability to enhance productivity, profitability and soil physical quality. The results showed that among different crop establishment techniques, conventional-tilled puddle transplanted rice(CT-TPR) required 14%-25% more water than other techniques. Compared with the CT-TPR system, zero till direct-seeded rice(ZT-DSR) consumed 6%–10% less water with almost equal system productivity and demonstrated higher water productivity. Wide raised beds saved about 15%–24% water and grain yield decrease of about 8%. Direct-seeded rice after ZT or reduced tillage or on unpuddled soil provided more net income than CT-TPR. The CTTPR system had higher bulk density and penetration resistance due to compaction caused by the repeated wet tillage in rice. The steady-state infiltration rate and soil aggregation(> 0.25 mm) were higher under permanent beds and ZT and lower in the CT-TPR system. Under CT-TPR, soil aggregation was static across seasons, whereas it improved under no-till and permanent beds. Similarly, mean weight diameter of aggregates was higher under ZT and permanent beds and increased over time. The study reveals that to sustain the rice productivity, CA-based planting techniques can be more viable options.
