1Shape control on probability density function in stochastic systems显示文摘A novel strategy of probability density function(PDF) shape control is proposed in stochastic systems. The controller is designed whose parameters are optimally obtained through the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm. The parameters of the controller are viewed as the space position of a particle in particle swarm optimization algorithm and updated continually until the controller makes the PDF of the state variable as close as possible to the expected PDF. The proposed PDF shape control technique is compared with the equivalent linearization technique through simulation experiments. The results show the superiority and the effectiveness of the proposed method. The controller is excellent in making the state PDF follow the expected PDF and has the very small error between the state PDF and the expected PDF, solving the control problem of the PDF shape in stochastic systems effectively.Lingzhi Wang Fucai Qian Jun Liu 2014Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2014,25,1:3
2Analytical algorithm for longitudinal deformation profile of a deep tunnel显示文摘To investigate the longitudinal deformation profile(LDP)of a deep tunnel in non-hydrostatic condition,an analytical model is proposed in our study.In this model,the problem is considered as a superposition of two partial models,and the displacement field of the second partial model is the same as that of the concerned problem.Therefore,the problem can be solved by a model with simple boundary conditions.We obtain the solutions for the stress and displacement fields of an infinite body caused by arbitrary surface tractions on the boundary of the coming tunnel(zone inside the tunnel before excavation)by integrating the extended Kelvin solution over the boundary.The obtained stress solution is used to solve the specific surface tractions,which can satisfy the boundary conditions of the second partial model,on the boundary of the coming tunnel in an infinite body.Then,the specific surface tractions are substituted into the obtained displacement solution to solve the displacement on the wall and face of the tunnel.Therefore,the LDP can also be calculated.The proposed solution is verified by both numerical simulation and the LDP functions recommended by other researchers.The major advantage of our analytical model is that it can consider the effects of the axial and horizontal lateral pressure coefficients.It is revealed that the horizontal lateral pressure coefficient majorly affects the LDP behind the tunnel face,while the axial lateral pressure coefficient dominates the LDP ahead of the tunnel face.Furthermore,the deformation characteristics of the LDPs ahead of the face and the unexcavated core are investigated.The axial displacements of the excavation face can be used to predict the crown displacements ahead of the face.Qian Fang Gan Wang Fucai Yu Jianming Du 2021Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,4:2
3Shaping the PDF of the state variable based on piecewise linear control for non-linear stochastic systems显示文摘In this paper, we propose a shape-control scheme for non-linear stochastic dynamical systems to enable us to shape the probability density function(PDF) of the state variable. First, we derive the PDF analytical expression using the Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov(FPK) equation obtained from stochastic systems.Then, we control the PDF shape by devising a piecewise linear control law whose parameters are calculated using the conjugated gradient method. 15A Novel PDF Shape Control Approach for Nonlinear Stochastic Systems显示文摘In this work,a novel shape control approach of the probability density function(PDF)for nonlinear stochastic systems is presented.First,we provide the formula for the PDF shape controller without devising the control law of the controller.Then,based on the exact analytical solution of the Fokker-PlanckKolmogorov(FPK)equation,the product function of the polynomial and the exponential polynomial is regarded as the stationary PDF of the state response.To validate the performance of the proposed control approach,we compared it with the exponential polynomial method and the multi-Gaussian closure method by implementing comparative simulation experiments.The results show that the novel PDF shape control approach is effective and feasible.Using an equal number of parameters,our method can achieve a similar or better control effect as the exponential polynomial method.By comparison with the multiGaussian closure method,our method has clear advantages in PDF shape control performance.For all cases,the integral of squared error and the errors of first four moments of our proposed method were very small,indicating superior performance and promising good overall control effects of our method.The approach presented in this study provides an alternative for PDF shape control in nonlinear stochastic systems.Lingzhi Wang Guo Xie Fucai Qian Jun Liu Kun Zhang 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,8:1

20Robust adaptive control for dynamic systems with mixed uncertainties显示文摘The control problem for single-input single-output(SISO) systems in the presence of mixed uncertainties, both stochastic and deterministic uncertainties, is considered. The stochastic uncertainties are modeled as exogenous noises, while the deterministic uncertainties are time invariant and appear as the unknown parameters which lie in a bounded interval. Based on a subdivision for the continuous interval, a robust adaptive controller is designed. The controller can not only realize the system output to track the desired output, but also learn a more accurate interval which contains the true value of the unknown parameter with a learning error given in advance.
