Growth performance and physiological parameters of the second generation selected and control groups of Pinctada martensii显示文摘In May of 2007,the second generation selected (SS) and control (SC) groups of pearl oyster Pinctada martensii were established by selecting 10% breeders with the largest and mean shell length, respectively, from the first generation selected group.Growth performance of the SS and SC groups were compared on the basis of measurement data at Days 8,18,60,95,195 and 365.On Day 365,100 individuals (60.0–75.0 mm at shell length) were sampled from each group and then subjected to the experiment where physiological parameters such as filtrate rate, oxygen consumption and ammonia excretion were measured at 15,20,25 and 30°C.The results show that the SS group had significantly larger mean shell length and shell height than the SC group at Days 8,18,60,95,195 and 365 (P <0.05).The genetic gains at different ages varied from 6.0% to 17.0% for shell length and 5.7% to 14.6% for shell height, respectively. At 15,20,25 and 30 ° C,the SS groups had significantly larger filtrate rate than the SC group (P <0.05).At 15 and 25 °C,the differences in oxygen consumption rate between the SS and SC groups were not significant (P >0.05).At 20 and 30 °C,however, the oxygen consumption rate of the SS group was significantly larger than the SC group (P <0.05).At 15,20,25 and 30 °C,there were no significant differences in ammonia excretion rate between the SS and SC groups (P >0.05).The present results indicate that there existed considerable genetic variability in the base population and a further selection could be likely fruitful.Mass selection for faster growth might produce animals that had higher intake of metabolizable energy by virtue of faster filtrating behavior. | DENG Yuewen YU Ziniu DU Xiaodong WANG Qingheng FU Shao | 2011 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,2: | 10
Energy Efficient Multi-Antenna UAV-Enabled Mobile Relay显示文摘In this paper, we study an energy efficient multi-antenna unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-enabled half-duplex mobile relaying system under Rician fading channels. By assuming that the UAV follows a circular trajectory at fixed altitude and applying the decode-and-forward relaying strategy, we maximize the energy efficiency by jointly designing beamforming, power allocation, circular radius and flight speed, subject to the sum transmit power constraint on source node and UAV relay node. First, we maximize the end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio by jointly designing beamforming and statistical power allocation. Based on the obtained beamforming and power allocation results, we then obtain a semi closed-form expression of energy efficiency, and finally maximize energy efficiency by optimizing flight speed and circular radius, allowing optimal circular radius to be obtained via numerical computation. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can effectively enhance the system energy efficiency. | Qingheng Song Fuchun Zheng | 2018 | China Communications2018,15,5: | 8
A survey of prototype and experiment for UAV communications显示文摘Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communications have attracted significant attention from both academia and industry. To facilitate the large-scale usage of UAVs for various applications in practice,we provide a comprehensive survey on the prototype and experiment for UAV communications. To this end,we first provide an overview on the general architecture of the prototype and experiment for UAV communications, and then present experimental verification for air-to-ground channel models and UAV energy consumption models.Next,we discuss measurement experiments on two promising paradigms of UAV communications, namely cellular-connected UAVs and UAV-enabled aerial communication platforms. For the former,we focus on the feasibility study and address the interference mitigation issue. For UAV-enabled aerial communication platforms,we present three scenarios, namely UAV-enabled aerial base stations,UAVenabled aerial relays and UAV-enabled aerial data collection/dissemination.Finally,we point out some promising future directions for prototype and experimental measurements of UAV communications. | Qingheng SONG Yong ZENG Jie XU Shi JIN | 2021 | Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,4: | 6
Effects of Morphological Traits on Total Weight of Clam Meretrix lamarchii显示文摘Clam Meretrix lamarchii is delicious seafood with high economic value. The M. lamarchii in present market is mainly collected from wild population due to the lack of large-scale artificial seed production. In 2013,we carried out the artificial seedling exploration of M. Lamarchii. The current study utilized several statistical methods to analyze the effects of morphological traits on M. Lamarchii, which may provide knowledge for clam quality seedlings breeding work. The samples of M. Lamarchii were randomly sampled from Donghai Island,Zhanjiang. Shell length( SL),shell width( SW),shell height( SH),ligament length( Li L),lunule length( Lu L) and total weight( TW) of two-year-old M. Lamarchii were measured. A correlation coefficient matrix was constructed based on the results, where the total weight was set as the dependent variable and others as independent variables. Path coefficient and correlation index were calculated, and the major phenotypic characters were determined. The results showed that all the correlation coefficients between independent variables and dependent variable were significant( P < 0. 01),with an exception of the lunule length( P > 0. 05). The effects of the shell length, shell width, and shell height on the total weight were significant( P < 0. 01),and the shell length had dominant effect on the weight as a key effective factor. The multiple regression equation between the weight and the other traits was established as Y_W=- 126. 784 + 1. 249X_(SL)+ 2. 036X_(SW)+ 0. 911 X_(SH),where YWis total weight,X_(SL),X_(SW)and X_(SH)are the shell length, shell width and shell height, respectively. The current study may contribute to the artificial breeding of the species. | Zhang Jiali Wang Qingheng Deng Yuewen Du Xiaodong | 2015 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2015,7,6: | 2

Energy Model for UAV Communications:Experimental Validation and Model Generalization显示文摘Wireless communication involving unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)is expected to play an important role in future wireless networks. However, different from conventional terrestrial communication systems,UAVs typically have rather limited onboard energy on one hand, and require additional flying energy consumption on the other hand. This renders energy-efficient UAV communication with smart energy expenditure of paramount importance. In this paper, via extensive flight experiments,we aim to firstly validate the recently derived theoretical energy model for rotary-wing UAVs,and then develop a general model for those complicated flight scenarios where rigorous theoretical model derivation is quite challenging,if not impossible.Specifically,we first investigate how UAV power consumption varies with its flying speed for the simplest straight-and-level flight. With about 12,000 valid power-speed data points collected,we first apply the model-based curve fitting to obtain the modelling parameters based on the theoretical closed-form energy model in the existing literature. In addition,in order to exclude the potential bias caused by the theoretical energy model, the obtained measurement data is also trained using a model-free deep neural network. It is found that the obtained curve from both methods can match quite well with the theoretical energy model.Next,we further extend the study to arbitrary 2-dimensional(2-D)flight,where,to our best knowledge,no rigorous theoretical derivation is available for the closed-form energy model as a function of its flying speed, direction, and acceleration. To fill the gap,we first propose a heuristic energy model for these more complicated cases, and then provide experimental validation based on the measurement results for circular level flight. | Ning Gao Yong Zeng Jian Wang Di Wu Chaoyue Zhang Qingheng Song Jachen Qian Shi Jin | 2021 | China Communications2021,18,7: | 2

Learning to Complete Knowledge Graphs with Deep Sequential Models显示文摘Knowledge graph (KG) completion aims at filling the missing facts in a KG, where a fact is typically represented as a triple in the form of (head, relation, tail). Traditional KG completion methods compel two- thirds of a triple provided (e.g., head and relation) to predict the remaining one. In this paper, we propose a new method that extends multi-layer recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to model triples in a KG as sequences. It obtains state-of-the-art performance on the common entity prediction task, i.e., giving head (or tail) and relation to predict the tail (or the head), using two benchmark data sets. Furthermore, the deep sequential characteristic of our method enables it to predict the relations given head (or tail) only, and even predict the whole triples. Our experiments on these two new KG completion tasks demonstrate that our method achieves superior performance compared with several alternative methods. | Lingbing Guo Qingheng Zhang Wei Hu Zequn Sun Yuzhong Qu | 2019 | Data Intelligence2019,1,3: | 1
