1Numerical simulation of high-energy neutron radiation effect of scintillation fiber显示文摘Due to their low cost,flexibility,and convenience for long distance data transfer,plastic scintillation fibers (PSF) have been increasingly used in building detectors or sensors for detecting various radiations and imaging. In this paper,GEANT4 Monte Carlo simulation tool was used to obtain some radiation effects of PSF under high-energy neutron irradiation. BCF-20,a plastic fiber material,produced by Saint-Gobain,was used in the simulation. The fiber consists of a core scintillating material of polystyrene and an acrylic outer cladding. Incident neutrons produce energy deposition in fiber through neutron induced recoil proton events. The relationships between energy deposition efficiency and fiber length,fiber radius and incident neutron energy are presented. 2Two-dimensional X-ray imaging using plastic scintillating fiber array显示文摘Due to its low cost, flexibility and convenience for long distance data transfer, plastic scintillation fiber (PSF) have been increasingly used in building detectors or sensors for detecting various radiations and imaging. In this work, the performance of using PSF coupled with charge-coupled devices (CCD) to build area detectors for 2D X-ray imaging is studied. We describe the experimental setup and show the obtained images from CCD. 3Energy and angular distribution of recoil proton of fast neutron in scintillation fiber:a simulation study显示文摘Due to their low cost,big reaction cross-section with neutrons,flexibility,and convenience for long distance data transfer,plastic scintillation fibers(PSF)have been increasingly used as detectors or sensors for high-energy neutron radiography.In this paper,Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation tool was used to obtain some characteristics of energy and angular distributions of recoil protons in plastic scintillation fibers irradiated by fast neutrons.The plastic fiber with BCF-20 as the core and an acrylic outer cladding was used in the simulation.The results show that there is a big range of energy and angular distribution of recoil protons in energies varying inversely with the recoil angle.MA Qingli TANG Shibiao ZOU Jiwei 2009Nuclear Science and Techniques2009,20,1:0
4Carbon-Nitride-Based Materials for Advanced Lithium-Sulfur Batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage systems owing to their high energy density and low cost.However,critical challenges including severe shuttling of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and sluggish redox kinetics limit the practical application of Li-S batteries.Carbon nitrides(C_(x)N_(y)),represented by graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)),provide new opportunities for overcoming these challenges.With a graphene-like structure and high pyridinic-N content,g-C_(3)N_(4) can effectively immobilize LiPSs and enhance the redox kinetics of S species.In addition,its structure and properties including electronic conductivity and catalytic activity can be regulated by simple methods that facilitate its application in Li-S batteries.Here,the recent progress of applying C_(x)N_(y)-based materials including the optimized g-C_(3)N_(4),g-C_(3)N_(4)-based composites,and other novel C_(x)N_(y) materials is systematically reviewed in Li-S batteries,with a focus on the structure-activity relationship.The limitations of existing C_(x)N_(y)-based materials are identified,and the perspectives on the rational design of advanced C_(x)N_(y)-based materials are provided for high-performance Li-S batteries.Wenhao Sun Zihao Song Zhenxing Feng Yaqin Huang Zhichuan J.Xu Yi-Chun Lu Qingli Zou 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:0
